The characters on this list all belong to the RICO universe
setting.

These characters may be RP/HC'd with either in their RICO
setting, or in an AU. I am always willing to develop them more
or tweak them with others!

The characters are organized by their affiliation to make things
easier to find.

You are free to involve your own characters if you wish!

Caelestis Company

These characters are involved with the Caelestis Company as
individuals that work directly for this corrupt organization. These
characters usually call the shots in regards to the criminal
happenings in RICO.

  • Solaris Stavros: Founder, owner, and creator of Caelestis, as well as the Scapegoats. He is the corrupt antagonist of the RICO universe. Very powerful, and typically the main cause of strife in the setting.
  • Snow Sullivan: One of the higher ups in Caelestis. Not quite on the same level as Solaris, but he is one of the day one riders for the company. He typically will handle things that are not serious enough to warrant Solaris's attention.
  • Rudolpho Adelardi: A youngster and rookie amongst the big dogs in Caelestis. He rose through the ranks quickly due to his calculative nature. He does a lot of the legwork and tactical thinking.
  • Ceehilm Cesario: Ceehilm handles a lot of the communication between Caelestis and the Scapegoats. They bridge the gap between the syndicate tiers, and have a lot of responsibility put on their shoulders.
  • Zane Zachary: Ceehilm's cocky right hand man that does the most dirty work. He is the closest thing to eyes on the street that Caelestis has, and ensures that any inkling of a connection between Caelestis and the Scapegoats from the law is quashed. He keeps things from getting messy.

Socialites

The socialites in RICO are typically very wealthy and
influential individuals that got mixed up with Solaris,
the Caelestis Company, or the Scapegoats. They are
typically used as pawns.

  • Avery Allen: The son to Alfred Allen—a rich investor to the Caelestis Company, and business partner to Solaris. A young starlet wed to Solaris as a form of security deposit between Solaris and Alfred. The whistleblower. Connections to the good guys.
  • Antoine Armand: Frontman and vocalist to a rock-group owned by Solaris. His band's revenue is somehow involved in Solaris's schemes, but he's none the wiser. A reckless liability kept under control only by his substance abuse problems.
  • Rocco Russo: Rocco's father Raymond is another business partner to Solaris. Rocco is a well known MMA fighter whose games and career is possibly a front for something more corrupt behind the scenes. Easy to manipulate. Connections to the Scapegoats.

The Scapegoats

The Scapegoats is a gang created by Solaris to take
the heat off of the Caelestis Company which is the
main HQ of racketeering. The Scapegoats do all of
the dirty work for Caelestis, and in turn get a good
cut of its profits.

  • Cashile Lector: Leader of the Scapegoats. He is very streetsmart, and typically has his own agenda. An even match to Solaris's manipulative ways. Often at war with himself as to whether or not his gang/the people in it or profits should come first.
  • Tory Torres: Second in command to the Scapegoats. He handles a lot of the dirty work, and moving goods. He is very street oriented, and couldn't care less for Caelestis. He's loyal, because it puts food on the table.
  • Desdemona Drakos: While not necessarily a very high ranking member, she is definitely one of the backbones to the Scapegoats. She serves as good PR for the gang, and keeps up good relations to the community they work within, while painting those against the gang in a bad light. Clever and cut-throat.
  • Velius Abandonato: Velius hovers at the top, while not exactly touching it with Desdemona. He is a smooth talking con man, easily able to cut deals for the gang, and figure a way out of sticky situations. He's a bit of a loose cannon, but his usefulness outweighs his volatility. The negotiator.
  • Ego: Ego is another individual that has potential to climb his way up the ranks, but hovers around the middle instead. He handles a lot of dirty work, and ensures that everyone else's jobs go smoothly whenever they don't have to deal with the muck that comes with the job.
  • Jawn James: Heads the gang's more salacious and blatantly illicit activity. She is often out on the streets delegating jobs out to the soldiers in the gang. She is balanced out by Desdemona.
  • Ripley Rawls: A midlevel soldier that proved his worth in the gang with his ability to work quickly and efficiently despite his bad attitude. He can make problems disappear overnight. Works well with Velius, but does not trust him. If Velius is a loose cannon, Ripley is the cannonball that's been fired. Untrustworthy, but able to stay under the radar as he typically is harmless. Loyalty lies with himself.
  • Andre Auzenne: Another Scapegoats soldier with some form of tenure if only because of his connection to Ego. He is a bit chaotic, but a very hard worker and considered to be Ego's right hand.
  • Wyatt Watts: A humble soldier in the gang. He's part of the Scapegoats, because he genuinely believes the gang is doing good for the community. Works well with Desdemona, as he gives an equally as good impression of the gang to the community through his constant community service.
  • Blue Braxon: Basic soldier in the gang. Works with Bronx on the corner, and deals drugs. Occasionally helps out Wyatt or Ripley. A bit of a renaissance man, and well known throughout the gang and community. Flashy, but ultimately harmless.
  • Bronx Braun: Works the corner for the gang. Has good relations with gang associates and information brokers. Very good at keeping an eye on things happening around the gang. Knows more than you'd expect.
  • Dimitri Petrikov: A simple soldier in the gang. Does what he's told to do when he's told to do so. Doesn't question his place in things. Simple and easy to deal with.
  • Mecka Mathers: Another simple soldier. He works with Blue and Ripley typically. Sees the gang as home, and has an undying loyalty to the Scapegoats.
  • Reese Reyes: Soldier. Isn't afraid of getting his hands dirty. A bit of a douche. Not much is known about him, but he does whatever is requested of him. Low level goon type of stuff.

The Good Guys

These characters typically do not have a
specific group/company they're associated with,
but they are the 'good guys' that go against the
crimes being committed by the Caelestis Company
and the Scapegoats.

  • Royce Rogers: A high ranking detective that's dedicated most of his career to trying to stop the high rates of crime in the city of Sol Regnum. He has been the constant fire under everyone's ass so to speak. Very committed to his work, and has an unquenchable thirst for justice. Usually only a step or two behind the criminals he's after.
  • Damon DecelleRoyce's loyal partner. Damon's moral compass is sometimes skewed, but he typically wants nothing but the best for the city, and works hard to achieve that. His methods can be a bit unconventional, but he stumbles into answers more often than not. Very good at finding leads.
  • Rei Auer: A plucky, young reporter that has followed the city's history of crime closely. She is always snooping after answers for the unsolved mysteries of Sol Regnum, and is usually of great help to Royce and his team. Sometimes gets in trouble for her work, but is always fearless going forward.
  • Spike Spades: A private investigator invested in the city's mysterious workings. She was originally hired to try to solve a murder case relating to the Scapegoats, but became enraptured by the tangle of drama involving the city. Shares her findings with Rei's work, and Royce's team very often. Good at doing things that those groups would otherwise be barred from due to tricky legal things. Unconventional at best.

Associated Acts

These character are typically not actually a part
of either side of the coin, and usually just look out
for themselves, or the city of Sol Regum as a whole.
They can be swayed to work for whoever they want
whenever they want, purely depending on their own
feelings and needs.

  • Dominique Beaufort: A thorn in Solaris's side. She's an associate that will help out with Caelestis if she feels like it, but her good will is sporadic, and it's unclear as to whether or not she can be trusted. She's an equally wealthy influential individual, and seems to have her own agenda.
  • Lisianthus Acker: Typically aligned with the Scapegoats, he doesn't actually support much gang activity. He can respect the good that the gang does for the community though. He usually serves as a safehouse for those working on the streets, but does not want much involvement beyond that. Perhaps has more connections than what you'd expect.
  • Galakitka Zolnerovich: An information broker with a chip on his shoulder. If you need to know something about anything or anyone, he's your guy. Has absolutely no loyalty to any cause. He gives out information based upon who can afford it. There is not much known about him. You'd be hard pressed to ever get a leg up on him.
  • Salem Blaire: Not much is known on this man, but you should know not to trust him.
  • Scar: A hired gun with a lot on her mind. She actually seems to often help out the good guys more often than not. Where her loyalties really lie can be a bit cloudy though, as she seems to do whatever is most convenient for her, and her alone.
