The Tale of Mjölnir’s Scar

Plasma Kittens gather around the warmth of the fire. Chatting, laughing, and telling their stories. Tales of great discoveries, terrifying creature encounters, legendary treasures filled each PK with curiosity and excitement. Here the town PK’s took their opportunity to tell their stories and Mjölnir was one that joined with his many tales. He gathered a far amount of PK’s when he told his stories. With his extravagant way of storytelling others couldn’t help to be intrigued and entertained. Mjölnir told the tale of his scars, of how he fought dangerous enemies and powerful creatures. One of his scar had the most thrilling stories that he was always proud to tell. It was the tale of his greatest victory and the scar across his face.

As he stood on his hind legs he spoke- “There I was in the dark of the night. The wind howling, but no creature made a sound. I stood in front of the crumbling ruins of the Castle Of The Storm.” The smaller kittens look at him with excitement. Mjölnir enjoys the way they look at him, that’s why he tells his stories, to see the kittens’ joy in their eyes.

He continues “As I walked into the castle I felt it’s stare. I keen it was watching me, but I let it think I didn’t know it was there. I looked around at the rubbish, armor and weapons of fallen warriors scattered across the hall. But I’m more than them! I’m stronger! Braver! And knew how to take the beast down!”

The kittens wowed at him. He chuckled cockily- “As the great Viking I am I knew the stories of this castle, of its beast, of the terror it brought to the towns, and how to end it. I walked to the treasure room, where there was gold piled by the mountains, gems and jewels, and powerful weapons. Everything the beats stolen from the towns and the warriors that it defeated. But I didn’t take any of it! I had something far more valuable in sight. And y’all may wondering 'what’s better than gold, jewels, and gems?' ”

He looked at the children that shook their heads in agreement. “Well lads, it was not made of gold, but it was the beast’s most treasured possession. It was the one thing that could end it. It was… The Axe Of Hagall!!”

The kittens gasped and awed. “Yes! The Axe Of Hagall! The one weapon that can take down the beast! But as I put my paw around it’s mighty handle the beast took a swing at me with its powerful tail. I slammed into a column, but I stood and with the The Axe Of Hagall in paw. I stare down the beast. But the mighty dragon stood its ground and roared!”

“Oh no! What did you do?” Said one of the children and the others looked at him anxious to know.

“Well lad, I’ll tell you what I did. I hold the mighty axe with both my paws…” he said as he stood in that pose “looked at the beast and roared! I ran towards the dragon and swanged the axe at its wings. I landed a couple of great hits! But alas it took me down with one of its paws. I hit the ground and felt it’s claws pierce my flesh. One of its claws got my eye…” he gestured his left eye with a finger, going down from his brow all the way to his cheek.

The children look at him terrified. “I felt my heart pounding and all I saw was red. But I wouldn’t let this dragon end me right there. It’s yet my time to visit Valhalla. So I took the axe and stabbed it in the paws. The beast roared in pain! Standing on my paws again I took aim at the mighty dragon and trew The Axe Of Hagal. And it hit! Right on the chest! Finally the beast fell and took its last breath. It was defeated!”

The kittens cheered at Mjölnir! While the older folk chuckled at their excitement.

“Ah yes, the beast was finally dead. And it was by my paw. By the great Viking I am, Mjölnir! Then I took The Axe Of Hagal from its chest and prayed to Odin that the beast may Rest In Peace and found its way into Valhalla. Now with The Axe Of Hagal in paw no dragon nor beast can defeat me. They all know my power! The axe and this scar are proof of my triumph!”

Mjölnir yell as he swung his axe. While the children celebrate him as a hero, the other PK’s were sceptical of his story. Mjölnir has been known for his high tales. Yet they couldn’t see if his story was completely true or fiction. No one would face him, with his axe and scars all over, he’s quite the intimating cat. Still he was only entertaining the children so there was no need to question him.
