Happiness is where the heart is

"Happiness comes in many different forms, how do you create happiness for yourself?" Asked the grey and black elder. 

Birchleaf played with his paws while she asked the question. The elder always asked deep and meaningful questions, however this was Birchleaf's most favorite thing about Truthseeker. 

He finally mustered up the courage to respond, he found it hard to talk let alone open to cats that he doesn't really know that well. It's a constant everyday struggle for him, especially since he's training to be a medicine cat. He may have recieved his name, but he isn't ready to take the full role. 

"Happiness, for me, comes from healing others. That's why I wanted to be a medicine cat, it does have its up and downs but when I can successfully treat a cat by myself, it makes me smile. It makes me believe that I can do this. I love helping others and that's what creates happiness for me." he spurted out a ramble of words, clawing the ground below him.

He finally looked up at the elder, his forest green eyes met with Truthseeker's gaze. "I also seek happiness in nature, when I become stressed or extremely anxious, I like to walk away from the situation. I love to take a walk in the forest to calm down, I find it peaceful when I look at the world before me. It makes me smile as well, to be by myself when I need to." He mewed quietly to the elder, he doesn't like to speak too loudly to strangers. 

"One time a butterfly landed on my nose because of how still I was! I will always find happiness in nature." He smiled happily, purring his heart away.
