Incident 8024-B
Date: ██-██-20██ Location: SCP-8024 Containment Room Description: At approximately 3:00 PM, Doctor Angus ████ was sent to alert SCP-8024 of the recent death of Doctor Liam Marner caused by Incident 5048-A. SCP-8024 reacted with disbelief initially, claiming the doctor was making a joke that "wasn't very funny", and observing personnel recorded that the crackling of its voice grew louder. When Doctor ████ confirmed the death to be true, SCP-8024 remained silent for approximately 30 seconds, after which it began to laugh. Doctor ████ was unable to leave the room before it let out a shrill scream-like sound, consisting primarily of blaring static at a frequency that caused hemmorhaging in the doctor's brain and temporary deafness in all doctors in a 30 foot radius. Doctor ████ died shortly afterward.
SCP-8024's scream also affected nearby electronics, causing glitching in handheld devices and static in nearby television sets. It appeared completely unaware of the impact the scream dealt and collapsed in distress, before throwing down a portal and disappearing into it.
Three days later SCP-8024 reappeared in its containment room, sitting in a curled position facing the corner of the room. For 24 hours it refused to acknowledge all attempts to engage conversation. The next day, when prompted, it confirmed it would not scream again. Safety precautions are currently being set for SCP-8024 to receive grief counseling from an on-site therapist.
