Kadara grew up alongside Eos and Noveria. She was best friends with the two and would do pretty much everything with them. While she didn't have the same type of relationship that Eos and Noveria had with either of them, she wasn't third wheeling and would easily trust her life with them. When they hung out it was normally Noveria or Eos that thought of the plan as they liked to go on adventures and create trouble and it was rare that Kadara was the one to start plans. She wasn't extremely social and was definitely more reserved with anyone that wasn't Eos or Noveria. She felt it worked better when she wasn't the one in charge and was afraid of screwing plans or doing something wrong, so she left it up to them.

One evening Noveria had heard of anomalies happening in Torich, the town over. There were rumors of ghosts talking or strange voices coming from houses. There was also talk of demons taking residence in basements or attics, planning to strike. The residents were starting to act off, they stopped visiting other towns, stopped communicating with anyone that didn't live within the town. It was as if they had been hit with a plague and were restricted from leaving. Noveria planned a meet up with Eos and Kadara and once they were together suggested they pay the town a visit and figure out what was going on. She didn't see much of a risk especially if they were all rumors and the town was just trying to start something. Kadara didn't have much of an issue with going over. How much harm could a possible curse or demon do anyways? Especially if Noveria might know how to cure it. Eos on the other hand was a little more unsure of going. She didn't want anything to happen, even if there was a way for her girlfriend to undo it. She would have rather not risked anything but against her cautions, the three head out towards the town hoping to find some action.

It took them about an hour by carriage to reach Torich. They immediately noticed a black cloud over the town. It was mid afternoon so it shouldn't have been this dark but yet they almost felt as though they needed lights to look around. The three started to walk down the main street. They didn't want to venture too close to the residential section where the most activity seemed to be happening just yet. There weren't many others out as well, even though it wasn't night yet. Anyone that they came across looked at them very oddly questioning why they had decided to take a trip to Torich. That's when Kadara started to get a little worried. Either this was now a very elaborate prank that all of Torich were involved in or the rumors were true. She wasn't that scared but with each passing second they spent in the town she became increasingly concerned. Eos had suggested they head to the bakery and get a treat while they assess what's happening and come up with a game plan for what they want to accomplish while in Torich. Noveria and Kadara thought that sounded nice and headed towards the bakery, which was surprisingly open. As Kadara walked in she immediately got chills, something just seemed off about this place. They got some treats, took a seat and started discussing what they wanted to do.

The best course of action decided by the three ways to stop by various shops in town and get a feel for the residents and buildings while still being out in public. Kadara had also mentioned that she remembered seeing an old abandoned house the last time she was here. There must be some activity happening there, especially if no one would be there to bother whatever spirit, demon, or being that was occupying the house. She was a little wary about going to it as they wouldn't reach it until night which would most likely lead to an increase in any paranormal activities. Noveria assured her they'd be fine as long as they stick together and they should be able to be home before the next day. They finished their treats and settled back on to the street. Their next stop was a small antique shop, where the owner acted a little off but there wasn't anything else that was out of the ordinary. They proceeded to go into various other little shops finding just about the same. Those running the shops were startled by the visitors and were rather quiet but nothing else seemed off like before. They quickly made it through the shops they planned to stop in and decided that their next and final destination was to be the abandoned house. As they transitioned from the shops to the residential area the atmosphere quickly shifted. It was suddenly very eerie, there was a strong wind and it seemed to drop about ten degrees. They looked at each other and even Noveria seemed a little concerned. They walked past a few houses when they noticed the house Kadara had mentioned earlier. They looked at each other, wondering if they really should be doing this, when Noveria just headed towards the front door. She yelled that she didn't come all this way just to have some treats and look at the kind of weird shops. She wanted some action and she was going to find it even if it wasn't the smartest thing for them to do. Not wanting their friend to go in alone, Eos and Kadara followed Noveria. As much as they didn't want to go in they weren't about to let Noveria go in alone. The three of them then proceeded to enter the house hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.

When they were first inside the house nothing seemed that off from the last time they had seen it. Sure it was an abandoned house but from the previous times they had visited and messed around it seemed as though nothing had changed. It was still a little off putting to be inside the house but for the most part their worries went away. While they seemed more at ease, Noveria wanted to explore the house as much as possible. She was determined to find something even if it meant she had to scare her two friends. They decided to split up. Kadara was to take the upstairs and attic, Eos was to take the backyard and front yard, and Noveria was to search the ground floor and basement. They went their separate directions saying they would spend no more than fifteen minutes alone and meet up again with any findings. Kadara went over to the stairs and decided to start on the top floor and hit the attic later. The attic was always the scariest part in stories like these so she would rather leave it for later and get the top floor over with. There were a few bedrooms and two bathrooms on the floor. She went one by one looking in cabinets, under dusty furniture and in closets. They used to play hide and seek in this old house when they were younger so Kadara was somewhat familiar with where furniture should be and what was in a few of the cabinets. Like when they had first walked in everything looked normal. With only five minutes left until they were supposed to meet up again Kadara headed to where the ladder to the attic was. She pulled down the latch and started to climb the ladder up. It was very dark up there so Kadara switched her water to the lighter colors hoping it would reflect more light or do something but it was still pretty dark. She decided to sit and let her eyes adjust and figured that it would be ok if she was a minute or two late to meeting Eos and Noveria again. Kadara continued to sit and soon they started to call out to her. She had yelled back saying she would be ok alone for another few minutes and that it was a little dark so she just needed time to adjust to the light levels. By then she had been able to clearly see around her. Like before everything seemed in place. The attic was a large open space with one small circular window that was on the front of the house and was the only source of light for the entire floor. There was a small closet in one corner and a full length mirror right outside of it, but other than that the attic was empty. With her eyes finally adjusted, Kadara went over to the closet to check what was inside, finding some old shelves that had always been there and then shut the door again. She was about to head back down to her friends when she noticed the mirror outside of the closet looked awfully dark. She moved the mirror closer to the small window to see if it was just shadows making it look darker but when it was in front of the window nothing had seemed to change. The frame looked lighter but the mirror itself was still the same.

The attic suddenly became very quiet for Kadara. There was no longer the sound of a faint breeze or her friends talking downstairs. Now all she heard was a faint whispering in her ears. It sounded like someone was begging but she couldn't quite make out the words. She walked back to the mirror and the closer she got the more cohearent the words became. It started as "I NEED" turned into "I NEED AAAA" and finally, when she was directly in front of the mirror, "I NEEEEEED AAA HOSTTTT". Kadara wasn't sure what to do about this. She had never had a mirror talking to her and wasn't quite sure what to make of the words. Did they mean a host for a party, a host for a tv show, or a body host for some kind of entity. She didn't think there was much need for a tv show or party with the urgency in this voice and feared it was going to take over one of their bodies. She turned back towards the ladder down and yelled for Noveria and Eos to come up into the attic. She said she may have found what was causing the town to act all strange. The two quickly appeared alongside Kadara, hearing the words she had been hearing for the past couple of minutes, "I NEED AA HOOOOST". They were caught off guard. A possessed mirror was the last thing they thought they would encounter. Noveria didn't seem that impressed with it and just thought someone was playing a prank and there was a film on the mirror with a speaker behind it. Kadara on the other hand felt the words grow stronger and didn't think this was made by someone and Eos was leaning towards her side. It seemed like it would explain what was happening in Torich as they had found no other explanation and why would someone be doing this in an old abandoned house if it were a prank. They knew not many people walked even close to this house, let alone go inside of it, so why would someone choose here to find a prank victim. Noveria still laughed at it, and thinking nothing bad could come of it, pushed Kadara into the mirror. Kadara only slightly touched the mirror's surface and the mood in the room quickly shifted. Black vapors were coming from the mirror and Kadara started to scream in pain. Eos looked at Noveria, yelling at her, screaming because she didn't understand how she could do this to their friend. The mirror changed what it was saying; "HOST FOUUUND SYNTHESISSSSS BEGINNING". Kadara started to run away from the mirror but the black vapor grabbed onto her and pulled her closer. She was bound to the mirror, screaming for her life, as Noveria and Eos sat off to the side, unable to do anything to help her. Soon Eos and Noveria couldn't make out where Kadara ended and the vapor began. The colors were being drained of Kadara, her sand was turning darker and her water was no longer the bright pink and yellows she had before, it was black. Kadara continued to scream begging for help and soon enough the only color left in her were her eyes, full of pain. The black vapor dissipated, leaving Kadara spread out on the floor and a now broken mirror. Noveria and Eos rushed to her side, holding her gently asking if she was ok. Her eyes were now closed and her breathing was labored. They carefully carried her down the ladder and down the stairs to the ground floor of the house. They then took her outside so she could get fresh air, laid her on the grass and waited, soothing her everytime she whimpered or gasped in pain, doing what they could but also afraid that they might end up causing her more pain.

After a few minutes Kadara shot up, gasping for air. Eos calmed her down, assuring her that everything was going to be ok and that right now she just needed to breathe. She calmed down and looked at her two friends, then at herself. She was taken back by her darker sand and black water. A voice in her mind also started to make itself present. It sounded very similar to the one that was coming from the mirror screaming about having a host. Now, instead of seeking a host it was talking about synthesis. It was counting up percentages, starting at sixty percent and slowly rising. Once the voice had announced that it was at one hundred percent Kadara blacked out again. Noveria and Eos were once again concerned. They tried to shake her back awake and Kadara groaned, released a wave of energy that knocked Noveria and Eos back, sending them a good distance away from her, and fell back down. Noveria screamed, saying she felt like she was freezing solid, unable to move and getting colder by the second. Eos also let out a cry, she didn't feel like she was freezing she felt like she was burning. She would later describe that it felt like she was standing on top of the sun, everything was blindingly bright and she could swear she was sizzling from the heat. They both teetered on the edge of consciousness trying to remain awake but having their energy constantly drained out of them. Soon enough Noveria and Eos succumbed to the darkness and passed out, leaving all three friends blacked out laying on the front lawn.

About an hour later Kadara had woken back up but this time she had her previous sand colors and her water was in its space form. A quick glance at her would make it seem like she was just tired and that nothing life changing had just happened to her. She could still faintly hear the voice in her mind but it wasn't saying anything technical now. It seemed more like another person trying to have a conversation with her but the words were all a garbled mess. Occasionally she would flicker in between her current state and the darker sand and black water form but it would only be there for a few seconds at most. She approached Eos noticing that she was starting to move but the closer she got the hotter she got. Eos was still burning up and Kadara was afraid to get any closer. She instead went to Noveria who seemed to be warming back up. She wasn't as cold as she originally was but she also wasn't moving as much as Eos was. Kadara went over to her and shook her lightly hoping it would wake her up. Kadara shook her and Noveria bounced back to life. She looked around confused, shivered a little bit then looked at Kadara. She told her that something felt off and that there was a different kind of energy flowing through her. She then proceeded to sneeze and just a little bit after the sneeze it started to rain around them. It wasn't raining anywhere else but this front lawn, as if there was one cloud doing it that appeared out of thin air. Kadara mentioned that Noveria might have created it, so to test this hypothesis they tried to get her to sneeze again which didn't really work. Instead Noveria thought if she directed her attention to trying to stop the rain or create another storm cloud it might work. After a few minutes of concentration the cloud seemed to start to disappear. They tried it out a few more times, messing with the type of weather she tried to create and Noveria seemed to now be able to control storms and weather. The blast of energy from Kadara must have done something to give her this power.

Since Eos was also hit with this energy Kadara and Noveria were curious if she had also been given weather controlling powers, or just powers of any kind. During their storm testing Eos had started to wake up and once they had decided enough was enough with it she sat up, surprising Kadara and Noveria. The first thing they asked was if she could control the weather. Eos looked at them like they were crazy and Noveria demonstrated what she could now do. Eos was then curious herself if she had the same ability but when she tried to create some clouds she got fire instead. The small patch of grass to the left of her was now in flames and she ran back. She had not expected fire to come from her attempt, let alone anything. Noveria quickly created some rain clouds above it to put it out and they looked at Eos. While they wanted to see what else she could do they didn't need any more grass patches catching on fire for the moment so now feeling rested, the three of them decided to head back into town and find a way to get home. Surely they would be able to find someone to help with what had happened to Kadara and explain the powers Eos and Noveria now had back in their hometown. It wasn't unheard of for someone to have powers but they had never seen the ability to control weather or create fire, let alone having a separate form. The least was probably known about Kadara because she had not fully switched since the power blast and they had no clue if her other form could control anything and how much power it had.

The ride home had nowhere near as much energy as the ride to Torich had. Instead of discussion possible plans and being excited about what they might find, the three of them sat in solace. They had exchanged very little words between them, sitting in their respective seats minding their own business. Kadara had thought about starting a conversation to keep their mind off of everything that had just happened but she was afraid that either Eos or Noveria would burst out as tensions were high and Kadara didn’t want to fuel anything that might happen. Once they had reached home the three went their separate ways to their houses, not even saying goodbye to each other, and individually went to reflect on the past events.

Walking into her house Kadara was a little afraid that she might switch to her darker form without either Noveria or Eos with her, but she knew if something were to happen she could call either of them and they would be there in a heartbeat. She decided to have a cup of tea and head to bed, doing everything she could to remain calm and make it through the night.

A couple days had passed with no contact between the three friends. Kadara was fed up with it as they had never spent this long away from each other, and decided that they needed to meet up and at least talk about what happened. She gave Noveria and Eos each a call and set a time for them to come over to her house and talk. Noveria was the first to arrive and she patiently sat waiting for Eos and thinking about what she might have to say about the ordeal. The second Eos had walked into Kadara’s house Artemis yelled at her. From what Kadara heard she could infer that they also hadn’t talked since their adventure, which was concerning considering they had previously planned a date night months ago for the day after the trip. Eos had started to defend herself and the short burst of yelling was starting to turn into an argument which had made Kadara anxious. All of the commotion caused Kadara to switch forms unexpectedly and when Noveria noticed the darker Kadara she had stopped the argument and went over to her to comfort her. Kadara screamed at Noveria and pushed her back yelling about how she didn’t need her help and she was going to leave and hit a bar. This immediately confused Noveria and Eos because Kadara had never been one to drink, let alone go into a bar. They chased after her, trying to keep a good distance so she wouldn’t notice them and followed her into the nearest bar. What shocked them even more was that not only had Kadara ordered a drink but she had started flirting with the guy sitting next to her. Things weren’t adding up and it seemed as though Kadara had a totally different personality when she was in her darkened form. She was very flirty and was taking risks without giving a second thought towards any consequences that might come her way. Noveria and Eos just stood in awe, trying to think of a way to bring her back while still observing what this new Kadara was doing. They had sat there for around an hour waiting for Kadara to stop but she just kept drinking and flirty with anything that walked near her. At some point she started making out with a guy which is when they had had enough. They knew that she wasn’t going to snap out of it anytime soon, and headed back to Kadara’s house, hoping that she would at some point return for them to talk and possibly find a way to get her out of her darkened state.

Five hours later, some time just past 1 AM, Kadara had finally waltzed back home. She was a little more than drunk and when she walked through the front door there was some guy who entered shortly after. Much to Noveria and Eos’ disappointment, Kadara was still in her dark form and for now the only thing they could do was to continue to sit and wait for her to return back to normal. They let her take him upstairs and decided that they should at least get some rest. Noveria took Kadara’s couch while Eos went to sleep in her guest room. At seven in the morning Noveria was awoken to some loud banging and the guy that had stayed with Kadara last night frantically trying to run out of there. He was muttering something about how she looks different from last night and that maybe he was super drunk or maybe she was a witch. Noveria laughed at this but tried to remain quiet so he didn’t hear her. She knew that Kadara must have changed back, most likely while she was sleeping and that she would be able to talk to her and Eos when they were both awake. She watched some television and sat patiently waiting for them to wake up. Two hours later Eos had emerged, getting some coffee, using her new fire powers to heat it up, and sat down with Noveria. An hour after that noises were heard from Kadara’s bedroom and they got up to ensure that she was ok. The first thing that came out of her mouth was the complaint of a splitting headache. She wasn’t sure why she was in this much pain, not only in her head but her body overall seemed to be pretty sore. When she complained about that Noveria and Eos looked at each other and just laughed, saying they’d tell her about it later once they had gotten the headache to go away. A couple painkillers later Kadara was up and ready to start talking with Noveria and Eos. She mentioned that the last thing she really remembered was hearing the two of them arguing and then the voice in her head reappeared. Then the next thing she knew she was in her bed waking up the next morning. Noveria knew hiding it from Kadara wouldn’t do her any good so she said that she had switched to her other form and told her everything that happened, including the boy she brought back. Eos was more than pissed when Noveria started telling Kadara but shoved aside her emotions because to her she wanted to focus on helping Kadara. They had spent a few hours attempting to switch her back into the form to then find a way to get her out of it but it appeared that no matter how hard they yelled or tried to upset Kadara nothing seemed to work. They tried making Kadara anxious, they tried scaring her, upsetting her, angering her, but she still remained Kadara. Without consulting Eos again Noveria decided to try to use her powers on Kadara. This resulted in a storm in her living room and Eos was livid. Kadara was upset that she had a large puddle on the floor but thought it was a valid attempt. Eos, however, was screaming at Noveria. She was unhappy that they had to spend their day messing with Kadara to attempt to understand what happened to her and Noveria wasn’t making this any better. She then screamed blaming Noveria and saying that none of this would have happened if they had decided to keep their noses out of Torich’s business and that because of her the three of them were now cursed. Eos blasted a fireball at Noveria and stomped out of Kadara’s house. Noveria ran after her leaving Kadara alone, hoping she could talk some sense into her girlfriend. Eos was even more upset that Noveria had the nerve to come after her, continued to send fire attacks her way, and when Noveria wouldn’t stop, turned around and broke up with her, saying she never wanted to see her again and that she needed to leave her alone. While Noveria was tough she hadn’t expected Eos to break up with her and ran back to Kadara’s house hoping she could at least comfort her. Kadara tried to remain neutral though their debate, afraid of losing either friend, After calming down Noveria headed back home and Kadara was left to work on her form shifting alone.

Days had passed and Kadara had no contact with either Noveria or Eos. She assumed they hadn’t been talking to each other either and decided to invite Eos over again. Her assumption was correct and Eos was still standing by the thought that this was all of Noveria’s fault. Kadara had yet to start pointing fingers but was starting to back Eos up. She had made no progress in understanding what had happened to her and believed that if Noveria hadn’t convinced them to travel to Torich none of this would have happened.

As time went on Kadara still had little control of her dark side. It would seem to switch in and out whenever it pleased and never had any recollection of what happened while it was present. She began to fear it and was always afraid of what it might do but luckily if it did anything it was really good at covering its tracks and the only things that might have given any hint to what it could have done were any scratches or bruising left behind on Kadara’s body. She remained in contact with Eos and did everything she could to help her understand her powers. Eos not only was able to create fire and warmth but seemed to be able to change the temperature of the atmosphere in a small area around her. It would normally raise by a few degrees but she could occasionally lower it making it slightly cooler. They both had very little contact if any with Noveria and they would sometimes hear about a big storm on the news and always wonder if that was her doing. She became extremely powerful and understood her abilities. She used her powers for evil and was no longer the adventurous and energetic Noveria they had known. Eos did everything she could to protect them from anything Noveria might throw at them but knew that there was only so much that could be done with her powers.

Kadara continued to live her life in the hopes that someday she might be able to get rid of the darker side but for now all she could do was coexist with it and hope it doesn’t one day destroy her. She's got very little control over that form and it switches out whenever it wants. In her normal form she's easy going and a bit of a nerd and overall just really pure, but she's also terrified of switching into her cursed form because she's never really sure of what shes gonna do in that state. Her cursed form is down to take any risk, is really flirty and tends not to think of the consequences of actions.

Eos has control of energy, specifically heat and is able to conjure fire and change the temperature of the atmosphere around her. She has a lot of responsibilities so she does often get really stressed and doesn't know when to start taking care of herself which causes her to spiral and be out of commission for a few days. It doesn't happen often but it hurts her each time it happens. Eos is also really motherly so she'll probably put the needs of others before herself and be really caring, not noticing when she's at a lower part of her life.

Noveria was heartbroken when Eos blamed her for what happened to Kadara and even more so when she had broken up with her. Deciding that she wanted nothing to do with the two of them, Noveria decided to leave town and head to the edge of the forest in hopes of being able to master her powers and create harm to anyone that hurts her in the future. She has a cold heart and doesn’t trust anyone anymore. It’s also hard to get any emotion out of her as she blocks it all and only shows anything when she is planning something and has an evil smile.
