Tou the Mimic
A little poem by PookaKit00 @ deviantArt!
Clatter chatter sing and croon
Tou sings and hums and plays
He loves each and every tune
Like his birds, he tries to sing
Change and shift and look anew
Tou changes, to look his birds
He tilts his head, hums, loud coo
He just loves them, don’t you know?
Change his face, change his look
Tou will do whatever it takes
Have a handsome, little hook
Look just like his precious birds
Tilt his head back, drink real deep
Tou will mimic, try his best
Talk like normal, throw a cheep!
They’re just so neat, don’t you know?
Wild birds need his help
Tou’ll help them out, do his best
Hands soft, don’t make them yelp
They’re not toucans, but close enough
Spread his wings, flare his tail
Tou preens his feathers, tastes the air
Tilt your head, enjoy a gale!
He looks the part, doesn’t he?
