Venturing out again, with a backpack in tow, you headed to the shore as you have been for the last few days. Each day you hoped to find what was known as an "Aquatic Drimi." The species you were searching for is known for their aggression, so you're always keen to be careful when exploring the shoreline. After what felt like a few minutes of walking, you could almost taste the salty air you knew you were close to your destination. The sand now being kicked up from your feet brushed against your legs like sandpaper, taking a deep breath, you moved closer to the water's edge. You took your shoes off and put them in your bag so they wouldn't get wet, you now begin wading through the shallows of the cold seawater. A few fish dart around your legs at first you had assumed it was because you had scared them, but then you heard a splash in the distance. Holding your backpack close in surprise, you look down to see a rather massive dorsal fin poking out of the water. The color of the fin seemed to be a dark blue.

Is it a shark? A little scared, you begin to back away, looking at where the fin had emerged, when suddenly you see a pair of bright blue eyes peering out of the water. Eyes wide in surprise, you realize it was an Aquatic Drimi! Slowly you approach the Drimi, who remained unmoving from where it was submerged.

When you took out a piece of meat and offer it though, she rises out from the water a bit more and stalks forwards, gently taking your peace offering with her razor tooth-filled maw. The Drimi gobbles it up in an instant and continues to rise out of the water until it's completely towering over you. When you try to move away, she follows and follows. You couldn't seem to get rid of them, but she appears friendly enough. The real question is, how're you going to fit them in your house?

Looking back at the Drimi gently, you reach out your hand stroking its fur as the creature begins to make a deep rumbling in its chest, purring. Now, what should you name this gentle behemoth, thinking for a moment you decide. Continuing to brush the Drimis fur, you spoke,

"Kumo, your name will be Kumo, that seems fitting, right?"

The Drimi, now named Kumo, only responded by opening her eyes and looking at you while still making an almost rhythmic purr. This moment was tranquil, a memory you'd cherish.
