Beliefs/Religion: A somewhat lax Christian, believe it or not. Believes in a single, all-powerful God, but isn't sure about the connection with the religion and vampires. Doesn't know whether he believes in an afterlife for his kind. 

Hobby: Reading, writing. Fluent in multiple languages (unbeknownst to anyone else). Somewhat enjoys dancing - mostly ballroom-style, but had recently been attracted to the hormone-driven club-style dancing he's been around (though he isn't sure why).

Ali has never, he belives, met his biological father; instead, believes (accurately) that he is dead. The man, according to Ali's mother, Victoria, was a human she met in secret on frequent trips to the surface.

His mother's husband, Richard, by all account his 'father' as he grew up, is a member of the vampire High Counsel, a position of great power. The man despises Ali for what he is; a testiment to his wife's unfaithfulness.

Ali has (had) five siblings; at least one is now dead. Only two hold Ali's respect; his older brother Domitri, and his (much) younger sister, Kitriana. Alexander and Lynn treat him distantly, and Zachary is dead. He hasn't seen any of them in a long, long time.

Born to a family that hated him, but he was a decent person. Had more of a conscience that most of his people. Kept to himself until an unspeakable incident changed him for the better part of the rest of his life. Spent centuries as a bounty hunter, pushing himself until he achieved rank of one of the strongest vampires in the city, a Chaos lord. (I didn't come up with that, lol.... people I roleplay with decided to make him uber amazing, through no fault of my own. I just go with it.) Everything about him changed a second time when he met Milly, the woman he eventually fell in love with. He wanted to be better for her, and did just that. Thanks to that, he managed to save the life of Roen, now his best friend.

He spent a few years by her side in her childhood, but something not unexpected happened, and suddenly his presence put her in danger. He 'left', by all accounts... no one, including her, knew that he was following her still, protecting her, hidden in the shadows. He remained invisible to her, fighting off threats she didn't know existed, until she hit the edges of maturity. Only then, when her power started growing, did he feel that she would be safe by his side again, that she could handle herself no matter what predicaments they ended up in. 

At that point, his sibling-like love for her became something more. He came to love the strong, independent woman she was becoming. Unfortunately, due to his 'separation' with her some years before, her side of the relationship has hit a stand-still. It seemed, to him, that she felt that he had abandoned her. Not blaming her for feeling that way, he'll do just about anything to get her to forgive him, and to give him a chance as something more than her guardian.

Mid-back length, straight, silky white. Cut in a slight 'V' at the bottom. Well taken care of. Slightly darker eyebrows.

Slate grey, with flecks of silver. Large irises, usually half hidden by his eyelids (In other words, he usually looks relaxed, or bored. Not much catches his attention). Heavy, full black lashes. Irises take on a red tint when he becomes outraged to an extreme level.

Creamy, near ivory skin. Flawless complexion (I asked him how he does it, but he won't tell!). Somewhat feminine, angular face. Medium-plump lips, upper lip slightly fuller. Lips usually an unsaturated mauve-red. 

Lean body type. Slim, powerful muscles well developed but not overly so. (Think Wesker, not Chris) Very lithe.

Absolute perfection (yes, I got hit for that). Graceful and strong, almost like that of a dancer. Pretty fast.

A few nearly imperceptible lines across his back and shoulders, from the intense beating he took when he was younger. Due to...complications....they didn't heal quickly enough to avoid producing scar tissue, but only a very slight amount. Unnoticeable unless one looks (or touches) very, very carefully.

Wears a lot of dark clothing to compliment (and counteract lol) his hair, eyes, and skin. Having been born into the era of crusades, he favors clothing in older styles. However, since modern clothing is more readily found, he often settles for long-sleeved button downs and simple, short-sleeved tees. Enjoys clothing that somewhat hides his musculature, having found it useful at one point in his life to let others believe he had a weak, slender body, rather than displaying his strength. From time to time, though, in recent years, he has been known to wear a rather form-fitting shirt; usually when around the woman he loves. (I mentioned a sort of subconscious display of manhood as the reasoning behind this... but it hurt. It hurt a lot.)

Loves jeans, preferably a darker faded denim. When in a more serious mood, will wear black or grey dress pants.

Shoes....SHOES. Very particular about his choice of footwear. Can almost always be found in boots of some sort; whether goth combat boots for casual days, or thin-soled soft leather for when he feels the need to be light-footed. Surprisingly, considering his height, his feet aren't that large. (I feel the need to, once again, point out that I mentioned the innuendo behind this fact, and considered the experience to be rather painful. I am beginning to fear for my health.)

Losing the woman he loves, and reverting back to the sheer insanity of his broken mind that cursed him before they met. The thought of going crazy again terrifies him. ...He is also deathly afraid of being forced to eat horrible, horrible human food, like Ramen!

Stay alive. Stay sane. Don't freak out in front of Milly, slaughter half a dozen people, and lose any and all trust she has for him. Keep her alive too. Get her to marry him. Live happily. ...Pretty simple.

*cough cough* I... don't feel safe answering this question. But... for the sake of having a complete profile...

Slightly traumatized as a child, obviously from distant parents and lack of affection. Felt as though he didn't belong in his world, being kinder and more respecting of life than everyone else around him (he got it from his mother, believe it or not). After his immortality took hold (around his nineteenth birthday, stunted because of his 'human' parentage), his father sold him as a sick toy for a demented sadist. 

He was beaten and starved of blood for an uncertain period of time(a long, loooooong time); Ali can't remember much of it any more, thankfully. He only managed to break free and escape after his mind snapped, and a literal form of insanity took him. No longer the same person, he went on a centuries-long killing spree. 

He didn't regain his sanity until he had a chance encounter with a certain young lady, of whom he quickly became enamored. Something about her made him remember who he had been, and why he had been that way. He couldn't destroy her innocence the way his had been, so many years before. After a rather disturbing internal conflict, he became determined to protect her, to allow her the opportunity to retain her innocence. 

As of now, he's sane... I think. He keeps everything rather bottled up, but the look in his eyes some times... I wonder if he's thinking about the mass hysteria he could cause.... and enjoying it?

Basically, a little emo shit. (Ha! Missed me!) Despite his ridiculously long life, he's suddenly become a different person, and has no way of knowing how in the world to deal with 'real life'. His moods vary widely, from distant and cold to hot and passionate. 

Usually friendly and playful toward Roen, due to the experiences they've shared (even though Roen can be a... little *cough* inappropriate at times). Tries to keep his head about him in Milly's presence, but is often confused and/or frustrated when he says something wrong, or her reaction isn't what he expected. That's where he becomes a little emo. Casually cold towards anyone else, until he gets to know them.

When alone, he tends to lapse into a quiet, thoughtful mood; neither happy nor sad.

As mentioned before, a Christian, though not hard-core. After seeing the earth for centuries, he can't bring himself to believe that the world and everything in it just 'happened'. Such thoughts only occurred to him after meeting Milly, as his mind was a swirling black hole incapable of rational thought before then.

Strong, attractive. Fiercely loyal. High pain tolerance (pretty sure he just likes it... is that a positive thing, though?). Cares about human life, only taking one when absolutely necessary to sustain himself. Gentle when needed.

Oh, yeah... and, since meeting Milly, it seems his physical abilities have decreased. He believes it to be caused by his lack of unbridled rage and disdain for life. We'll see....
