Kayden sat in the stool she pulled up to the counter, slumped forward leaning against the counter. Her job was quiet today, not much happening. She couldn’t have expected to meet her future lover today - though she wouldn’t know that for a while.

It was a warm day and the sun shone through the windows, dust billowing around in the air - a sign of a much needed cleaning. It was unusual for a fast food restaurant to be this empty but as it was a midafternoon workday perhaps that was to be expected. The music playing was something along the lines of soft 90s, a quiet hum that wouldn’t cause one's conversations to be drowned out - despite the lack of conversations happening one could appreciate this.

The door let out a soft jingle, a breeze of warm air blowing in behind the body of a rather tall girl - be this her height or due to her platforms Kayden couldn’t tell. The first thing one took in about the girl was her striking green hair. The sun shone it, making it appear almost yellow in some places. The color is what you would see from a highlighter, not what you expected to see on someones hair. Despite this it gave the girl an elegant appeal, unique enough to look good but not enough to cringe at. Kayden sat up straighter, wanting to take more of the girl in. She had tattoos, one of Girr Kayden realized, smiling a bit. The girl was on her phone for a few more minutes before looking up, smiling. She walked over to the order counter, a floral wallet in her hand alongside the phone. She looked elegant really, reading the menu if one could look elegant reading the menu in a dingy fast food restaurant. The air about her was strong - as though she held herself and everything she believed in to a golden tier. Kayden readied herself, taking a mental breath and with a bright smile - that at the time was faked but as time went one would come to be true and reserved for this green haired customer - and with the simple words “How may I take your order ma’am?”, a relationship would begin to bloom.
