Romance 2

    Now I know you are used to a different sort of romance, those  with a Cinderella princess and all that but this story isn’t that at  all, no, it’s something much different and it starts with a cute little  chocolate colored stygian named Bramble. Now bramble never really cared  for others much, never believed in those “white knight” type stories or  slaying a dragon for a girl, not that he would want to hurt Melchior  anyway. Nah, his love turned out to be something that was noticed over  time and to a boy no less. One that was quite a bit different than he  would ever be, covered in pretty sunset hues and long straight hair, for  a boy you wouldn’t call them masculine at all. 

    One  day, while walking home from the store with fresh groceries Bramble  decides to come and sit by the ocean, smiling gently at a setting sun  that’s made the sky shades of reds, oranges, and purples. Without  noticing the small betta mentioned before sticks his head up out of the  water and greets the boy, “nice to meet you” he says, tilting his head  slightly with a smile. Bramble caught off guard by the suddenness takes a  moment to respond but says back happily that it was nice to meet them  as well. This was their very first meeting, after many, many more they  grew closer, bramble now sitting by the edge of the water and just  talking about his day before something slips. “You know, I like you…”  he’d say shyly.
