    Nebula, this cat-demon like creature is as all others spawned  of a nightmare, but this one in particular has some notable traits that  can be traced back to the dreams that haunt us in the night. Notably  those of demons, with goat legs and large claws, why exactly so many  dreaming of demons would lead to this incarnation is hard to say.  Perhaps another notable feature that would be hard to place with out  pop-culture would be the third eye, generally shown as a symbol of some  sort of enlightenment, elevated ability to perceive or as a mark of  power its presence here is unmistakable, though again why it would  appear on a nightmare is rather difficult to say. Mayhap there is no  reason as dreams and nightmares are oft found to be wanting of such  consistent reasoning.

    Thou most account of this creature  describes it as a floating, upon closer inspection we can see wings not  unlike bats, a common, “creature of terror” if you will. Though it can’t  be said for certain that it uses them for flight given is quasi-real  appearance. I would hazard a guess that its more used to guide it during  flight. But only having such brief encounters with it myself I can only  hazard a guess as to their actual purpose.

    Of interesting note  the Nebula I encountered possessed differing colours from that of its  kin, where most are some variation of darkish powdered purple, accented  by orange the likes of which wouldn’t be misplaced in Halloween, this  one was mostly black save the pale purple wings, with splashes of white  on both the leg and the wings and one particularly large spot on its  chest.
