Light Storms

It was lovely day on Palu'au island the sun was shinning and everything was pretty peaceful, the day was started by Nozomi saying hello to pretty much everyone she saw as a way to try making more friends, like she needs anymore anyway as the day went on she had found herself at a small café with her best friend Ellie and were having a nice chat about the weather and about some events that have been happening when the weather was shown on the tv “later on today we are expecting some rain over all the islands..” Nozomi’s eyes widened at the news on the tv at the sound of rain, Ellie had noticed and calmly said “Zomi you really need to stop hating rain so much, its really not that bad” and by them saying that caused Nozomi to look at them with a face that said “what the hell are you talking about, its evil” so she quickly got up and went to pay and leave but Ellie grabbed her “nope your not leaving yet we are still hanging out”, after struggling for a few minutes she gave up and sat back down sadly and accepted the fact she will have to get wet from the rain later but decided she would have to get back at Ellie, but after a little while she had forgotten about the rain and had payed for her meal and then walked out of the café to spend the rest of the day with Ellie walking through the trees on the sandy path they were walking along and enjoying the view of the ocean and seeing all the elnin and kittoms around them “do you think that you will ever have a family Nozomi?” Ellie questioned “yea maybe, I def would love to see some mini Me’s, I bet they would look adorable and fluffy” “yea I could see them being fluffy little monsters, as you yourself as one” “HEY WHATS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN” Nozomi stopped walking a little mad while Ellie laughed to themselves “I mean look at yourself Zomi, its not meant to be an insult though” as Nozomi thought about it she realised it actually couldn’t be denied at all and continued walking slowly, though she quickly cheered up as that’s just who she is, as the day continued they had many laughs and met up with many different elnin and kittoms all was going well, until it had slowly started to rain which caused Nozomi to panic about her fur “Ellie we got to run!” she turned to Ellie and saw them rolling around in the rain and just stood there shocked, after trying to get Ellie up she gave up and just fell to the ground sadden as her now fluffy fur is now all wet and ruined, Ellie looked at their friend and noticed how sad she was but then saw something out of the corner of their eye, it was a red colour they believe “hey Nozomi did you see that?” “see what...” she asked as she slowly turned her head to look at Ellie and the next thing she knew she had seen weird colours in the sky as the normal coloured rain disappeared so both her and Ellie got up and ran to shelter unsure of this weird rain “do you think its safe Ellie?” “hmm well, one way to find out!” all of a sudden Ellie jumped out back into the weird coloured rain which caused Nozomi so scream at her but calmed down once she noticed Ellie was fine “seems fine to me Zomi!” they yelled out as they danced around in the rain, Nozomi decided to go join them as their fur was already ruined and actually ended up having fun, but agreed next time this weird event happened she would wear something to make sure her fur doesn’t get wet.
