Penn the Watcher

    Penn was always an odd case among the watchers, he was not someone you would suspect at all to be a watcher, yet somehow it happened. There was many rumors and mysteries about his Watchood, but this story will detail the whole story in truth. Some say he was somehow the son of a Oralova and a monster, others say that he has no parents and just sprung from a plant. A few others say he was made by a mad scientist. Of course, such ideas are silly but it still remains true that his parents are a mystery.
    What is know was that he was found on the doorstep of Miss Dorbell and would be raised by her as his foster parent. He was very... different and it wasn't long before he was noticed by a Watcher.
    The Spirit Watcher at the time was named Maribel. Maribel happened to be in town the day a unknown monster crashed into town. The monster was a strange amalgamation of various animal parts, it had three different sets of horns, 5 different sets of wings (plus 1 wing with no matching pair), twelve eyes of different sizes and pupils, 3 legs, 1 arm, and no discernible front end. The monster was practically a ball of flesh with various body parts glued on. Instead of using its legs it just rolled around, eating up whatever touched it. She could see a fly land on the being right before it was sucked in like some sort of vacuum, unfortunately the fly was not the only thing sucked in...
    Maribel took immediate action and started a evacuation. She called for the help of the other watchers to help her in the destruction of this monster. The area became a quarantine, no one should have been able to get in, it was heavily guarded, yet somehow he got in. All the watchers had arrived to the seen after Maribel had gone to fetch them. What they saw astounded and terrified them. There was little Penn, no upgrades, no weapons, and tiny for his age, making him seem ever younger. Penn was surrounded by the body parts of the monster. There was almost no monster left, just bits of flesh and body parts. Penn was covered in blood and chewing on something, it was... dear lova! He was chewing on one of the monsters eye balls! He seemed so full of glee, he was proud of his accomplishment. When he saw some adults, he spat the eyeball out and with a big blood stained grin hollered, "Looke at what I done!" in a very child like voice.
    Miss Dorbell said he had always acted a little strange, he refused to eat vegetables (which was not to odd for a child his age) but he preferred to eat raw meat over cooked meat. He would never hang out with any of the other children, usually he just sat at home, starring at the wall. One thing he would always perk up for, no matter what the occasion, was ice cream, it was his favorite. She had once seen him steal ice cream from another child, and when she scolded him for it he hissed at her like a cat.
    When she first took him in she had a pet Nibbler. Penn was fascinated by that Nibbler, she said it was like he had never seen anything like it before. before he started starring at the wall, it was the Nibbler that he would stare at. He would stare at it for hours on end, and wouldn't turn his head away unless he was offered ice cream, that was the first time he had ice cream. He never turned his head to any other treat she offered, just the ice cream.
    It was about a year since she first took Penn in that her Nibbler disappeared. She searched high and low for that Nibbler, she asked the neighbors and set up posters, but no one had seen her Nibbler. It wasn't until a long time after, when her house was to be dismantled, long after she had died, was her lost pet ever found. All it was by then was just bones, bones with bite marks all over them, some of the bones were even chewed in half. These bones were found in Miss Dorbell's wall, the wall the Penn always starred at.
    Maribel had decided to take Penn under her wing as the next Spirit Watcher, some of the other Watchers criticized her choice but she was already going through with it. Maribel had always been know as someone who always sticks through her plans to the end and now was no exception. Most Watchers chose a teenager as a successor but this time her had chosen a child. The others training with the Watchers saw Penn as a little brother. She let Penn visit Miss Dorbell on the weekends but the rest of the time he was training with her up on watcher tower. Penn still kept is preference she raw meat over cooked meat but she got him to open up to a wider pallet, usually by offer him ice cream if he ate other foods. You could practically make him do anything by offering ice cream.
    Unfortunately that was true for just about everyone who offered him ice cream. There once a incident where during when of Penn's trips to visit Miss Dorbell, a stranger offered him ice cream if he got into the van. Of course anybody sensible could see that getting into the van would be a bad idea, Penn however, was not. Now usually in these cases the one kidnapped is the one who needs help, but Penn always seemed to have a talent for flipping a situation around, even if he didn't know he was in a situation. The kidnapper, or at least the attempted kidnapper, lost his arm after he tried to tie Penn up. He told Maribel when he got back that a mean man told him he would give him ice cream but didn't give it to him. Maribel proceeded to give him a very thorough lesson in stranger danger.
    As Penn got older he grew more sensible and more able to act as normal. Penn was still eccentric though, and was known for wondering off, he always came back before the end of the day though. Penn normally ate cooked meat in public and raw meat in private, and he always loved ice cream. He was talented with magic, but always had preferred to just bite and claw in a fight, and he was really good at fighting. When weaker monsters saw him they shrieked and scampered off and if they were stronger monsters Penn could deal with them just fine. Penn showed no mercy for monsters, no mercy at anything at all really, and no regret for anything he did. Penn was a monster to the monsters.
    Eventually Maribel stepped down from her role as Watcher and let Penn took her place. Penn, with the consent of the other Watchers made it his goal to eradicate monsters, inside and out. He led teams to hunt down monsters and kill them, eventually finding monsters grew very difficult, any monster that was alive stayed clear of Penn's way. Penn got restless, his next campaign was to search for and convict criminals. "They're monsters too, after all" he said. Soon he was imprisoning many, even for the smallest of crimes such as stealing a bag of chips from a shop. He had it that the worst of the worst would go into his own personal prison.
    His actions made the other Watchers nervous, hunting monsters was one thing but he was going a bit too far. They lessened the imprisonment times for small crimes so that someone might only stay in a prison for a single day. Penn still insisted to take the worst of the worst to his own personal prison.
    Penn did take a successor but was fairly neglectful of her. Her name was Fairy and she was found in a adoption home. It was mostly the other Watchers who took care of her it was clear that Penn wasn't interested in teaching anybody but criminals.
    Penn died of a illness caused by eating raw meat. It was a surprise that he didn't get sick sooner from that. His personal prison was inspected and it was found that he tortured the inmates there. That wasn't the most shocking thing though, he had always been calling for tough punishments even if they weren't to the level of torture, the most striking thing was though was where he got his raw meat from.
