Your name is Moon’s Shine, or Moon as you’re more often known. You like to think you’re a kind person, and try to help out everyone when you can, but since you’re the so called “leader” of the colony it’s often difficult to do the right thing for everyone- there always seems to be someone who’s unhappy with the way things work. Being leader isn’t a position you particularly wanted, either, and instead was chosen for you with the dying breath of the previous leader. Sometimes you question whether he really said that or whether the now deceased healer simply didn’t like his actual choice, but the healer passed through to the afterlife from the mortal realm many moons ago, and so you cannot ask her. You know that you would never willingly hurt someone, but once again, being the leader calls for extreme measures in extreme circumstances. It would be hard not to lead a battle patrol to chase out an intruding badger, for example, or not to join the efforts when dogs roam the lands you call home. When everyone’s eyes watch your every move, you have no choice but to unsheathe your claws and strike the killing blow. If it weren’t for the support of your mate Dappled Leaf, sometimes you wonder whether you would have been able to cope with the responsibility that came with being leader, but thanks to them always being by your side no matter what you do, you tend to feel a lot better when making difficult decisions.
