Terron stepped nervously up to the Hive's porch. It was a pleasant looking place, the olive troll could tell it belonged to a caste level higher than his own. It was closer than he thought, still in the city but not in the communal hive stem high-rise area that Terron was accustomed to. From the outside, the place looked roomier than any he'd been in before, he figured the owner of it had to have spent a few sweeps earning his keep.

Either way, Terron took his time shuffling his feet around and fixing his suit to be just right, not sure if he was ready for this yet. "O-oh dear, oh de-ear..." He mumbled to himself, debating on just getting over it and going in, or forgetting the whole deal and turning right back around.

His decision was made for him as the door started opening in front of him, revealing a figure who at first glance would be a sharp young woman leaning gracefully on the door frame, though unfortunately Terron knew better.

"Ya comin' in er what darlin'?" Aprodi, the host in question, said slyly. He was dressed up a little fancier than usual, in leggings and high heels and a nice jade dress that complimented his eyes and- WHOA. The olive stopped himself there and gulped. "Heard you shufflin' around out 'ere and mumblin' to yerself. Can' see why ya din't knock, yer righ’ on time too!" He smirked and reached out a well polished hand to Terron's, grabbing it and rushing them both inside. "C'mon! I've got lots I wanna show you ~❤."

Before the confused olive could stutter out a response, the door was already closed behind them. And wow, this place really IS roomie! "When Areois told me he had convinced ya ta go on a date with both a us, I was astounded!-" Aprodi was chattering happily, giving Terron a chance to look around.

The place was a lot different than he had been expecting. Terron had been expecting a sort of... creepy love-shack or something. But this place seemed very, well, normal. Although he did notice an unusual amount of colourful furniture and wiggler play-toys around. Zoning out a bit, he snapped back into it when he noticed Aprodi staring right at him. "Ya still with me there hunny?" He gave the jade a slightly embarrassed smile and nod, receiving a knowing smirk in return. “Right, well, on ta business then?”

Aprodi dragged Terron over to the nearest couch and headed himself over to the kitchen nourishment block to get them some drinks from his thirst trunk. “So whaddaya thinkin’ fur today? We could stay ‘ere an’ I can give ya a tour or we can go out an’ about in town~! I know some AMAZIN’ clubs that 'ave just opened up-” He came back, handing his blank-faced guest one of the drinks and sat down beside him, crossing one of his legs over and resting his head on his free hand. He was staring right at the olive again. “Y’all ‘right? This is tha longest I ever went without hearin’ ya stutter out somethin’ old fashioned and silly.”

Meanwhile Terron’s head was spinning in circles and circles and getting NOWHERE. “I- I just don’t mind mu-uch we where go is a-all...” He really, REALLY wished he had superpowers or something to turn himself invisible. He wanted to be anywhere at all but here. It’s not like he couldn’t hear what Aprodi was saying, or that he didn’t care, he just wished it didn’t have to be so WRONG.

Even though Aprodi was in fact being surprisingly nice about everything. And even though he was laying off the snide comments and weird innuendos. And even though he made Terron feel... pretty happy inside.

However, the jade could see the barely concealed worry Terron had at going out and about in an ‘unrighteous male-male’ relationship. Though Aprodi had his own ideas and agenda for the younger troll, he wasn’t about to purposely make him feel that uncomfortable. This troll needed to be given time to open up and accept the things that Aprodi and Areios already took as normal.

“How about this dear. We stay in fo’ the night. Put on a couple rom coms an’ I can make us some dinna’. Sound good?” He said, placing a comforting hand on Terron’s shoulder, squeezing gently. He could just feel the tenseness slide out of the olive at his words, as well as an audible sigh of relief.

“Y-yeah. That’s just fi-ine.” The jade’s natural mother grubbing instincts went out to his guest, wanting to comfort him and make him feel better. He had to continuously remind himself this whole thing was for BOTH their benefits. Getting up again, Aprodi gave the other a warm look and headed back to the nourishment block to start cooking something up for the late morning meal.

The night started moving from there. As Aprodi was cooking a tasty grubloaf, Terron eventually came up and awkwardly offered his help. The two broke the ice and began talking about everything and anything under the moons. Dinner was made and deliciously devoured. Aprodi of course offered a romantic candlelight setting, which in turn of course flustered Terron farther. One would certainly call it a simple yet tasteful morning. True to their word the two moved on to some romantic comedy movies on the couch, and while Terron was commenting on troll Angelina Jolie and how she hadn’t lost her touch just yet, the older troll decided to make the most of his night.

“I’m just say-ing that her roll in this isn’t as bad as ever-ryone’s been making it seem-” Aprodi shuffled in, cuddling close against the smaller troll’s body, earning a surprised yet not disgusted noise. “U-h, o-oh. Aprodi?” The jade just smirked in response and puckered his lips. “Y’know, ya can call meh Rodi if ya want ❤.”

Oh-so carefully, The older troll rose up to level their faces. He moved slowly, paying close attention to the fact that if his motions were at all rejected, he would stop immediately. But though the other had been nervously shuffling the entire time, for this he seemed mainly curious. So the jade closed the distance to the olive, joining their lips. The kiss was brief, but confusion and inexperience on Terron’s part had made it quite awkward, however not unpleasant. The young troll's face once again heated up a deep green, and neither of them said anything for a few moments. Aprodi broke the silence first, “Sorry darlin’, tha’ was a little uncalled for wasn’ it? Musta been bad for ya.” He tried to offer up as reassuring a smile as he could. “I promise we dun’ have ta do anythin’ more like that tonight. Wan'ed  ta see yer cute face is all.”

To his surprise, Terron’s response was the opposite of what he was expecting. “N-no, i-it wasn’t bad at all I-I just-” Aprodi was amazed. He thought the other would hate him for having had done that kind of thing. Now this was just TOO cute. “I-it would just b-be easier if you w-were a lady y-you know...”

“And why can’ I be a laday huh? Dun I look tha part enough for ya? An here I thought I looked ratha’ pretty ta'night.” Aprodi put on his best pouty face, amused now at the reaction he was getting.

“Yo-u DO look pretty! E-er, that is, for a man, and I’m not attract-ted to me-en or anythi-” His defense was silenced by another kiss. This one a little more coordinated than the last, as Aprodi took more control, and he was no beginner. Releasing the moment, he whispered “Shhh, how’s about we jus’ enjoy tha rest o’ tha movie, hmm?”

And so they did. The rest passed uneventfully, Terron a blushing fool and Aprodi smiling contentedly with himself. When it finally came time to say good morning and part ways, they stood in the doorway and shared a respectable hug. “See yeas lata my darlin’, dunt be afraid ta write ~❤.”

Terron, still in a daze and shock at how the whole evening had passed and he managed to survive, even feeling pretty okay! It was this feeling that lead him to rise up enough to kiss Aprodi one last time (only on the forehead!) before promptly turning around in embarrassment and walking away from the jade’s hive. Though not before commenting “I w-on’t. S-see you around, Rodi... ~❤”

((Swooning occurred. Sorry it was so long and dull and pointless to write because no one will read it but I WANTED TO SO SHUSH))
