DND Session 2-8

In the sleepy time room
Aegas and Allistor
(Allistor has a teddy gun??? I NEED ART OF THIS. Its a gun with googly eyes glued to it)
Tano uses Aegas as a pillow
Tyr's watch is showing 12 o clock all hands not moving
Daria and Kaslin and Lesedi are staying up to keep watch
Tyr is gonna go to sleep
Aegas and Allistor had a peaceful sleep
The others awake will notice that Tano is tossing and turning and not sleeping well, and Tyr isnt talking but is mumbling and grumbling and visibly sweating
Kaslin sits next to Tyr and pets his head
Daria to Tano
Tano- fire all round her. The City burns. But Tano is not seeing this through her eyes, shes seeing this as if she was a specter on high. Disassociating. She sees her mom and dad. Sees herself and sees sisters and brothers, all running, as fire burns across the city. Out on the horizon there are ships, smoke, as they fire upon the city and lots of explosions. Watches as her family meets up with someone she does remember, the uncle, they are saying things but doesnt know what. Speaking in a different language, as if it were jibberish, doesnt understand them. Watching after the siblings, as they panic and hug into her. Mom encourages her to leave and follow her. Uncle and father and take off a different direction. She doesnt move with any of them, but she is able to move in this weirdness.
Tano follows Tano and Mom. She follows them on an unseen floor. Hears mom yelling to stay close
Younger self trips. The lil ones trip on top of her, and mom turns back around and rushes back to help her. Mom picks her up and ushers her to keep going. Shes in front. Cannonball lands in front of her and explodes.
Tano wakes up violently. And sees Daria
Tano starts freaking out and babbling about the dream and freaks out
Daria and hissington hugs Tano
Tano keeps freaking out and starts crying
All conditions that people had are removed
Tyr doesnt wake up
Tyr gets worse and worse
Still and shallow breathing but does not stir
KASLIN HAS A HEART! He rolled 17 on a heal check
Tyr hasnt taken anything physical, whatever happening to him is hurting his mind or has hurt his mind- he has taken mental drain (His wisdom score went down)
This is some very heavy magic and something he doesnt know what it is
His wisdom is currently at a 3, 0 is death- hes essentially comatose
Tano just wants to leave
They stuff Tyr into Ageas's saddlebag and leave the top flap open
The group decides to leave through the door they came in at
They all enter the room they are slightly disorientated cuz they notice one creepy thing and the door above is open and there is a sleeping bag, and behind them is the same room (Now your thinking with portals)
The same tiefling is there leaning against the wall
Aegas gives the blue woman some alcohol and she downs it
She notices they are down a person, aka Tyr
You cant go passed the stairs till you pass this room, if you go up the stairs then youll go back down the stairs
How can we break the logic of the stairs without exploiting the stairs
Magic circle, you have a choice
She produces a very sharp blade, its a wakashashe
She puts it on the altar
And looks at them all, you must sacrifice something that is dear to you, and if it is not dear to you, points to the crystal that is blood red on the altar, it will know
If you do not have what is dear to you here, you must sacrifice your blood
Each one of you would have to sacrifice something, however with as many are here, the amount of sacrifice as needed wont be as needed
Daria realizes that if they give it their blood they may loose their magic
Aegas walks up to altar, pours one last mug and gives it to the tiefling
Dumps the rest of the cask over the altar
The gem on the table glows very faintly and the ale poofs
Tano walks up to altar and places her poking stick
It crackles for a moment and dissolves into the table, the gem glows a lil more than aegas's
Does the crystal have to be lit up completely or does it need to just glow once?
Tiefling answers that she cant answer and that we will just know
Kas pushes Aegas to the side and
Kaslin: walks up pulling out his own wakizashi, the first weapon that reminded of his home, along with placing the electrum star that he earned during the ball, something he was super happy for, due to feeling like he was finally accepted in a new home that enabled him to happily stay in vola, placing the gem atop the blade, picking up the cursed sword, smashing the gem and the old blade, then cutting the palm of his runed hand and placing it upon the table, and the blood is offered for daria  (Copy pasted from Kas himself)
Aegas is now all pissy cuz he was gonna offer his own blood for his friends and to tell kas to get his own shtick
The star and blade shatter and sink into the table as they are struck with the weapon
Kas takes 1 point in constitution damage- this can be restored over time and is not perma
The gem glows and envelops the room in crimson
Kas poofs from the room

Kas finds himself alone in red mist like outside
(Everyone else has to mute for this part O.O)
Kas is in the mist, but its different, this doesnt feel like outside
Kas still has the sacrificial blade with him from the altar
This feels not welcoming, but not uninviting, so nuetral
He hears something in the distance
A voice calls out, a cursed one has appeared, why has cursed one arrived? what is this cursed one for? and echoes around, all female voices
He then sees the same monster we saw outside as it waltz up to him
Cursed one, why are you here, the monster says
Kaslin looks at him and politely asks for his name, and tells him of his own name
You can call me the guardian of this place, I was once called Baljani, the Guardian
He repeats the question asking him why hes there
Kaslin explains the situation to the monster
Mentions the rune
Not just that rune, something is wrong, you are not supposed to be here, this is not where you should be
Kaslin you need to go back, when you get back you must take quick haste and leave before morning comes to this island, but leave the other cursed they must make their own trials, you and your friends must ascend the stairs
The whole group
Asks about the other cursed one
the keeper the drow, the shadows the lurk, you and your friends I wish luck
Kas asks how to make the rune not cursed
It is not your time yet, all will be known in the future
Kas says they will leave
You have done one thing I will say you have taken one of the first steps
I hope you did not falter on the others
Then the monster turns around and walks back into the mist

As the light fades Kas has poofed
Tiefling looks at us and goes IVE NEVER SEEN THAT HAPPEN BEFORE
Aegas looks to see if she appeared in the rest room
Allistor passes him his flask of whiskey
Daria starts crying a bit
Tano hugs Daria
Aegas asks all if we can go up the stairs yet
But what about Kas?
At that moment through the other door, Kas and the tiefling reappear
Aegas sticks his head out the door and is back in the rest room again, looking at a loop
Daria hugs Kas
Allistor pokes Kas
Aegas gives tano a burnt out torch
Daria is a literal mess
Hissy is on Kas's head
Tano is poking him alot
Kas is getting poked by all the people
Everyone goes up the stairs
Under Aegas's kilt is blue frilly bloomers with "Shame on you" embroidered on the ass????????????

Continues to go up the stairs for what feels like forever
Get to the end of the stairs, come to an empty space, save for one thing, another slab just off to the side and 3 colored gems, one red, one blue, and one yellow each glowing
And the same tiefling standing behind and smiles
She thanks them for a timely arrival
3 of these, and only 4 that can
Points to aegas, allistor, lesedi and daria
So you must choose
Aegas walks up and inspects them closer without touching them
Aegas notices that they are swirling inside of themselves, no indication of what thye are, there is a small layer of dust on the slab, not disturbed, the tiefling looks older
Daria looks at the crystals adn determines one thing, the blue one is cursed
