Peer the sky and check the ground

Swing your horns and look up high

Duck your head and peer down low

Leave the tending to your wife

Find one hurt and save their life

Don’t take pride, just keep on going

Where you’ve saved one, ten take its place

Determined as a damn good hound

Take the same path, wear the ground

Change it up, change your schedule

The humans can’t expect you

Check for human’s tracks

Peer for marks from an axe

Humans don’t respect it’s an endangered forest

That’s their problem - you’ll handle them

Bring your son along

Help him to be strong

He’ll follow in your footsteps
