Arena - A different day
Gelee woke up early, as always, to go prepare the store for the clients. Evi was still sleeping when he passed outside her bedroom, ‘Sleepy girl’ he thought. He went downstairs to check how the kitchen was, sometimes Evi makes a mess when she is in the “creative” process, and this was one of those cases, which explains why she was asleep.
Gelee started cleaning up the little mess and turned on the news broadcast, to have something on the background. He was immersed in getting a big stain of who knows what was mix from a pot when something catch his attention on the screen. They were talking about a HSR Event that was holding place and was attracting Katragoons from all over Nie and Earth to take part in. The Arena.
Gelee has his little adventure with HSR a while ago, he went on an adventure field but the results were not as good as he expected, the battles were tough and his skill were not good, he was a kind creature and got into quite the mess back then, but it was an experiment and it was fun overall.
Evi walked into the kitchen yawning just when the screen was showing off how the battles were, a white Katragoon moved swiftly in the screen evading all sort of attacks. Evi rushed to the screen, tripping over everything in the way.
‘Brother! Look! Is that HSR thing you did, right?’ - Evi looked back at him excited
‘Eeem, yes, is that, they opened a new challenge arena with leaders and all’ - Gelee said back while going back to his cleaning
‘Ooooh, are you going to participate!?!?! Can I go watch!?!? I could not go last time!’ - Evi closed in to Gelee looking him straight in the eyes
‘What? I… I was not thinking of participating again… We have to much to work on here on the store’ - Gelee moved his head away
Evi looked back at the screen with wishful eyes, another battle was going on, a lake was showing two Katragoons battling under the water, they looked like they were dancing rather than battling.
‘I really was hoping to see you on a match, you look so cool on your Light form…’ - Evi started picking up some pans to get to the dishwasher
Gelee soft spot was her little sister, he always tries to make her happy, no matter what, and she knew she had that effect on him. He looked back at her, slowly washing of a couple of spoons.
‘Okey.. I can go try with the first leader, but only if you bake me one of your special cupcakes!’ - Gelee said with a soft smile, Evi’s cupcakes were the best on the shop.
Evi rushed to him to give him a hug - ‘Of course! I will bake you the best of the best and I will cheer on you till my lungs explode!’

Later that day, Gelee and Evi went down to the Arena to find out the inscriptions to the leader battles. Evi had a small banner to cheer on his brother, Gelee felt a bit embarrassed about it but she was extremely happy.
A white Kat who looked familiar came to them, looking a lot like the one they saw on the screen of the broadcast.
‘So you wanna challenge the Light Leader?’ - said with a smile on their face
‘Yes! My brother is here to fight and I will cheer on him!’ - Evi pushed her brother to the front and showed her banner, Gelee tried not to trip over his feets and looked at the white Kat
‘Eh, yes, I wanna try out the first battle please! My name is Gelee’
‘Great, follow me, I’ll show you the place’ - the white Kat turned around and started walking to one of the rooms of the building, once they got inside an empty room they turned around to look to Evi - ‘You can sit down here sweetie’ - pointing to a little bench on the side - ‘Don’t worry, nothing will happen to you and you will be able to watch everything’ - they patted the head of Evi while she had a seat, the white Kat walked to the middle of the room
‘So, who is the leader?’ - Asked Gelee a bit nervous, looking at the empty room confused
Out of nowhere, the room turned into a field of grass, with no end, looked like the room was endless, and the sun was shining bright, the white Kat in the middle was wrapped in a ball of light and changed shape, now looking exactly like the white Kat they saw on the screen.
‘I am Lumi, leader of the Light Class’ - said while gaining a little height into the air, floating, they let out a little giggle as Evi gasped - ‘I hope you are ready Gelee! I am fast and you will have to catch me first!’
Gelee looked back at Evi, she looked at him with a huge smiled and raised her banner, that gave Gelee some courage, he focused and changed to his Light form: long body, glittering eyes, he stretched as much as he could and hover onto the air too.
‘Okey Lumi, I will show my little sister how cool his brother is! Let’s do it!’ - He swiftly moved towards Lumi and the battle started.
