What’s their favorite beverage- alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic? 

Elias doesn't drink alcohol! For non-alcoholic drinks he likes milk, black teas and coffee. 

What’s their favorite flavor? 

Salty and savory for sure. 

What’s their favorite food? 

Dried and salted jerky. Bacon. He also enjoys beef curry, cooked trout and steak. 

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, snacks- which do they look forward to most? 

Elias is an early riser and probably looks forward to breakfast the most. It is the most important meal of the day after all.   

Do they have a food or flavor they absolutely hate? 

Hate is a strong word, but Elias doesn’t like eating bread. It's bland, spongey and not that filling.  

Can they tolerate spicy food? 

Yes, though probably not anything mega spicy. 

What is their favorite animal? 

Elias likes lions, and also has a fondness for plainscows. 

What do they wear to bed? 

He’ll sleep in his armor out in the wilderness, but in an inn or some such he just wears pants. 

What position do they like to sleep in? 

He sleeps on his back. 

Are they a morning person or a night owl? 

Elias is a super early riser, he gets up at some ludicrous time like 7 or 8 am. 

Are they a heavy sleeper or do they wake up easily? 

He’s probably average? I imagine he’s a little bit more on alert while traveling, while at an inn he can sleep a little more soundly. 

It’s a rainy day, what will they do cooped up inside all day? 

Chores lmao. Cleaning, polishing armor, cooking, helping the clergy (he lives in a temple), ect ect… 

Do they have a favorite scent or smell? 

The smell of parchment and paper is really nostalgic and comforting to him. 

What do they smell like? do they wear perfume or cologne? 

Elias smells like incense (he uses it for his daily prayers) and leather from wearing his armor. There’s probably a bit of neutral soap in there too, 

Baths or showers? 

Do they have showers in dnd…..? He’d probably be more of a shower person if that was an option. 

How good are they at cooking? 

Like he is at most things, Elias is average at cooking. He likes grilling the best. 

What’s their favorite time of year and why? 

Early summer- usually the time of year the weather is at it’s best in Westruun. 

Do they have a favorite holiday? 

Civilization’s Dawn- Elias likes the social and community aspect of the holiday. 

Do they prefer buying or receiving gifts? 

Buying; he’s observant so he can be good at choosing something for someone. 

How tall are they, and how do they feel about their height? 

He’s 5 foot 7 inches. He’s a little embarrassed about it. 

Can they play any instruments? 

Absolutely not. 

Do they have a nice singing voice? 

Elias’ voice is naturally deep and melodic, so his singing voice isn’t bad. If he had actual training he’d probably be pretty good at it. 

Do they talk to themselves? 

Naw. He talks to god though. 

Do they enjoy music? What kind? 

Elias is fond of hymns and choir music; he has no love for rowdy tavern songs though.

Totally alarmed lmao 

What is their favorite flower, if they have one? 

Goldenrod 

How does your character feel about wearing jewelry? 

Elias doesn’t wear a lot of jewelry himself. He appreciates it on others, though. 

If they wear jewelry, what’s their favorite piece? 

Elias has a pair of freshwater pearl earrings he’s worn for like, ten years now. (I’m not counting his holy symbol as jewelry lol) 

Fashion forward or fashion disaster? 

…..Fashion basic??????? Elias is so boring you guys lmao 

What kind of underwear does your character wear? 

Boxer… briefs…..? (WHAT IS MENS UNDERWEAR LIKE LOL) 

Do they wear makeup? What kind? 

He doesn’t normally, but he will put some on to cover his tattoo at formal occasions because it makes him feel awkward to have a bleeding eye tattoo at those times. 

Do they paint their nails? 

Not on his own, but I’m sure Rohan has painted them for him once or twice for fun. 

Are they quick to get haircuts or do they often let it grow out? 

Elias keeps his hair stringently at the length it is; once it grows out a little bit he’ll trim it down immediately. He probably does this on the road too. 

Do they know how to whistle? 

No 

Do they know how to braid hair? 

Yes, though nothing fancy. He used to braid his hair occasionally when it was long. 

Are they scared of anything in nature- bugs, snakes, lightning, being on the water, ect? 

Not in particular 

Have they ever thought they were going to die? 

Multiple times. Elias faces the prospect of his own death with a certain amount of stoicism, but people possibly dying on his watch is a little more emotionally harrowing for him. 

How do they react to getting sick? 

When he could get sick, he hated it and would try to work anyways so long as he wasn't putting anyone else at risk of catching his disease. Now that he’s a level 3 paladin, he doesn’t get sick anymore HOO HOO 

Are they afraid of blood? 

There’s little in the way of gore that would faze Elias. 

How do they earn money? 

He works at the temple; he less earns money than he lives there as compensation for the work he does as a paladin. 

Are they satisfied with their occupation or long to do something else? 

Elias is totally and 100% satisfied with his life as a paladin yessiree :) 

How creative are they? 

He can be pretty creative in a writing or poetic sense. He journals a lot and tends to lean a little more on the descriptive and thoughtful side. 

Do they know how to draw? How skilled are they? 

lmao elias can’t draw for shit 

What do they carry around with them during the day (ie in their pockets, a bag, a purse) 

Scraps of paper with holy text written on it, a whetstone and some spare change. He usually has his sword on him at all times as well. 

Do they have a sweet tooth? 

Not in particular 

Haute cuisine or cheap eats? 

Cheap eats. Elias lives so thriftily he has no money for haute cuisine, and he prefers common folk fare anyways. 

Do they know how to swim? 

Elias has never seen the sea, but he learned to swim in the rivers of the dividing plains. 

Do they have any scars? How did they get them? 

OH BOY ok Elias has seven (7) big scars: One that travels diagonally across his face that he got when challenging someone more powerful than him, one on his lip that he got when a priestess knocked out his tusk, a huge one on his back he got when throwing himself in front of a spell in order to protect someone else, one on the palm of his hand that he got from grabbing a sword while raging, two that form an X on his chest where he’s been stabbed in the same spot twice, and one on the back of his leg that a Spireling gave him. He’s got tons of smaller ones that have accumulated over the years, but they’re not as noticeable. His body is beat to shit lol. 

What kind of handwriting do they have? Neat, messy, cursive?

 A very nice compact cursive.
