How Donia grew as a plottie

Donia is a well travelled plottie. She was born in a small, remote plottie community in Australia. Unlike other major towns, her small community was mainly filled with sundees and succhies, with her angie family being one of the few around. Because of this, growing up she thought she was a sundee like her friends. It wasn't until someone pointed out her differing pupils did she realize differently, and she sulked for a few weeks about that.

Being so remote, there really wasn't much for a young plottie to do besides run around and occasionally make a mud pie. But Donia didn't find that as amusing as the other seedlings did. She spent most of her free time sitting outdoors, reading and rereading the few books she could find laying around. It was from one of these books that she learned how big the world really was, and sparked a curiosity within her that lasted all the way to adulthood.

Once she was old enough, Donia decided it was her dream to travel the world and meet other plotties, learning more about the different cultures each one of them had. She didn't have many belongings so packing wasn't an issue, and thanks to all the books she read she knew enough of the different plottie dialects to get around. The main issue: how was she going to leave? Australia was big enough as a person to travel, but a plottie? But with determination as her drive, Donia decided to set out on her adventure anyways, figuring she could find ways to get around as the time came.

So for the first few months, Donia trekked her way across the large continent, meeting the occasional plottie tribe and joining them for a while, before splitting off again to go their separate ways. Eventually she made her way to the gold coast, and for the first time in months she was unsure about what to do next. The only way forward now what water, and swimming wasn't exactly her strong suit.

But it seems some unknown entity had seen her plight and put forward an unlikely solution to her troubles. A few days after she had arrived, a travelling plottie circus had set up shop, offering free admission to any plottie who could answer the most riddles within a minute. Curious, Donia entered the contest, and as luck would have it, she won! So with a free ticket and a small plushie powoo, she headed off to the circus for the first time in her life.

To say she had fun is an understatement. Donia was enthralled by the spectacles going on in front of her. The acrobats, the dancers, the sword swallowers. So many strange talents brought together under one tent, united by a common drive. After the show was over, she made her way to the meet and greet tent and talked with the performers. She told them of her life story and travels, and how moved she was by their performance. Fascinated by her, the ringleader invited Donia to join the troupe for dinner and the two of them chatted more over messy plates and troupers conversations.

By the end of the night, after a few too many drinks, the ringleader asked her what her next steps in life were. She admitted she wasn't really sure, how she wanted to travel more but didn't know how, when he offered her a place in his troupe. While a performer she was not, her knowledge of languages and world customs would make her perfect for planning new routines as they travelled. Delighted and enthralled by the idea, she agreed, and for the next few years she was able to live out her dreams. Travelling the world and experiencing so much more than any book could describe.

As she grew older, and all the travelling had been done, Donia decided she was tired of moving, and wanted to settle down somewhere more stable. She told the ringleader her plans, and while sad to see her go, he helped her plan out her next steps, and told her of a lovely city she could settle down in. And after telling the troupe of her plans, Donia made work of figuring out just what she was going to do after leaving.

As the months passed, they made their way to Greenhouse City, Donia's last stop with the troupe. With heavy hearts and heavy cups, they all held one last hurrah together before sending her on her way. Many tears were shed, mainly from the ringleader and his inner crew, and with a final goodbye she took her bags and set out on her own, looking for her way.

Greenhouse City was a massive place, much bigger than what she was used to. The loud crowds and bustling roads made her feel nervous. She heard of smaller communities outside of the city, so she quickly made her way to one of those, settling down in a small shelf near a lake. She soon found a job working at the local library, and quickly made her way up the community ladder.

Now, she's the head of community activities, helping to plan fun events for those in the neighboring shelves to partake in. She still helps out in the library on her days off, chatting with patrons and offering them suggestions for new books to read. It's rumored that she's read every book in the library, and every new book before putting them on the shelves. As well as a rumor of a secret relationship between her and an unknown plottie.

But those are just rumors, how true can they be?
