A story of Orson, Aurora and their cat Meower

Their real names are Vladislav (Vlad) and Ludmila (Luda) Danilovs. They lived in USSR, Kyiv oblast, Pripyat. In 1984 they finished their medical education in Kyiv and got married. Also in 1984 they found a stray kitten, took him to their home and called him Kuzya (Meower). In the same year, they came to Donetsk by distribution, worked as a school doctor and nurse where Avantis and DJ Alien studied (Alien and Avantis were 12-14 years old). 

Vlad and Luda liked to talk with DJ Alien. Vlad and Alien both were fans of Electronic music which gained its popularity abroad (in mid 1980s). Alien was blown away by a cute school doctor and nurse. Alien's parents worked abroad and brought her a lot of cassettes, CDs, vinyl and appliances (which were very hard to find for an ordinary Soviet citizen because of iron curtain), though Vlad got his records somehow too. Alien and Vlad had big music libraries and recorded music for each other, did exchanges with cassettes. 

Vlad, Luda and their cat Kuzya moved back to Pripyat at the beginning of 1986, a bit before Chernobyl catastrophe. After Chernobyl exploded, they worked at the front, treated people who fought radiation. They didn't want to evacuate, faced this catastrophe and suffered from it. They got radiation sickness and were about to die, but some strange old professors from abroad took Danilovs and their cat to their laboratory for treatment...

Those professors were elder von Bergendahls (both around 80), - grandpa and grandma of Ronja and Helga. They were a doctor and pharmacist and had a secret medical laboratory (somewhere in the forest) and even their children never knew about it. They experimented with animals and people, cured those who were hopelessly ill. They had some secret technologies for that, also they worked a lot with different mutations, that's why they were so interested in Chernobyl and came there for some secret researches. 

Elder von Bergendals saved Vlad, Luda and their cat from death, but they couldn't control mutations which were caused by Chernobyl radiation. They saw that their pacients are turning into monsters. They tried to do something about it, but Vlad, Luda and Kuzya came out of control and invaded all of their laboratory. Grandpa von Bergendahl died from a heart attack and granny von Bergendahl took poison and killed herself, all of their employees ran away (they had nondisclosure subscription). Von Bergendahls searched for their old folks but couldn't find them. Vlad, Luda and Kuzya didn't remember who are they, knew nothing about their previous life. They mutated and their brains got some new (and fake) memories and knowledge about themselves, that's why they have new names. They got magic powers and special features (ability to fly, to call on demons, to transform their bodies, to rule appliances and to control electricity). They stayed in von Bergendahl's laboratory and used it for their own purposes, this place became their base. They became badass from mow. Their brains were re-programmed to take revenge on von Bergendahls and to kill all of their descendants. So they became enemies for Otto von Bergendahl and his magic daughters (Helga, Ronja and their sisters).
