"Come on Sabas," Nightingale called. "It's getting late." The sun was low in the sky but not quite low enough that it was starting to get dark. The sikeri pouted slightly as he walked away from the others he had been playing with. He quickened his pace to catch up to his katragoon. She glanced down at him. "If you want you can stay with them tonight. You don't always have to come back with me if you let me know that's what you're doing." Sabas just shook his head. He didn't want to miss any chance to hear Nightingale sing. It was his favorite thing in the world to hear her sing. "Alright then," she said looking back up at where they were going. She opened her mouth and started the vocalize the song that came to her.

On their walk home, they passed a small field that had some berry bushes. Nightingale hadn't stopped singing and Sabas was fully entranced. Another katragoon noticed the singing, little Morgan. She pushed her head out from the bush she was hiding in and looked around for the source of the song. She spotted Nightingale and Sabas walking past but neither of them had noticed her. "Pwetty," she cooed. She tumbled out of the bush and bounded after them.

Nightingale stopped singing once they had made it back home. She glanced down at Sabas to say something when she noticed the child following them. "Wh-what?" she exclaimed. "Where did you come from?"

"Pwetty song," Morgan cooed smiling up at Nightingale. "More?"

Nightingale was taken aback. "What is your name?" she asked.

"Mowgan," the child replied. "More song!" She bounced in excitement.

"Alright, Morgan," Nightingale said. "Where are your parents?"

"Song!" Morgan bounced being stubborn.

"After we find your parents," Nightingale said in a soothing but firm voice. "They're probably worried about you right now."

Morgan pouted. "But I want to listen."

"I know, Sweetie, but we need to find your parents," Nightingale said before glancing over at Sabas. She nodded her head towards little Katragoon and then nodded her head back in the direction they had come hoping Sabas would pick up that she was trying to tell him to go look for the child's parents since she didn't want to tell her where they might be. Sabas nodded in understanding and walked back the way they came. "Why don't you show me where you live?"

Morgan shook her head sitting down. "Song!"

Nightingale sighed. There was no changing her mind it seemed. She knew Sabas wasn't going to be pleased that he missed out but there wasn't much else she could do to get the little Kat to cooperate. "Alright, right little Morgan~" she sang. "Will you show me where they are now?"

Morgan giggled. "Maybe," she stood up and ran off.

"Wait! Morgan! Where are you going?" Nightingale chased after the child. She didn't know where Morgan was going but didn't want to leave the girl alone. "Morgan! Come back!"

Soon she saw Sabas with another katragoon running towards them. "Morgan!" the katragoon exclaimed.

"Mama!" Morgan answered picking up speed.

Once they reached each other the two embraced. "Where have you been? We've been looking everywhere for you!"

"Pwetty song," Morgan replied turning to point at Nightingale.

"I guess she had heard me singing on our way home," Nightingale said with a shrug. "I'm glad we were able to bring her back to you."

"Thank you," Pick said. She looked down at Morgan. "You're a mess. Let's get you home."

The two pairs parted ways as the sun was starting to finally set. "Well that was an interesting walk home," Nightingale sighed as they reached their home again. Sabas chirped his response as they walked inside.
