Mild Violence

This is a collection of short stories about Star and her life. Star is a black wolf with yellow eyes and is one of my favorite role play characters.

Author's Notes

This story takes place a week and a half before the big disaster.

Moon

Star groaned in pain as her fur rippled. Feather laid some moss down and got out his supply of borage leaves.

"It's almost time. Hang in there." The healer comforted her.

Frost, Winter, and Oak crowded around her. Feather frowned.

"Your crowding her. Only the father may stay."

Oak sighed and slipped out of the healer's den. Winter frowned.

"But-"

"No buts. Out!" Winter turned to leave. Star protested.

"No. He stays." Feather sighed and nodded as Winter bounded back over. Frost pressed his muzzle against Star.

"You got this." He whispered. Star groaned as the first contraction took place.

An hour later, Star snuggled closer to her pup. The pup had silvery fur that shined in the moonlight coming from outside the den. Her white paws twitched as she slept. Star sighed and licked her ear. Frost sat down next to Star.

"Your going to be the best parent ever." Frost nuzzled his mate. Star smiled.

"We both are." She glanced back down at her pup. "What should be name her?" Frost pondered the question for a moment.

"Moon." Frost said. Star gasped and looked at him, then smiled and gave his muzzle a lick. Moon had been her mother's name.

"It's perfect." Star told him. "Moon." The new parents stared lovingly at there daughter.

Outside the healer's den, Winter listened in. Moon. He thought. What a perfect name. Winter sighed and decided to go for a walk. He glanced around camp to make sure no one was around. Then he slipped through the dirt tunnel and out of camp.

The guard, Lion, didn't see him leave. Winter wove his way through the forest. He bounded around the Big Rock and leaped on top of it. From there, he could see the moon starting to set.

He watched it longingly, wondering if things would be different if Star was his mate. After a moment of thought, Winter sighed and decided to hunt. He spotted a mouse and pounced. He was about to head back to camp when he saw brown fur in the shadows. Green eyes peeked out at him. Winter set down the mouse realizing who it was.

"Hello."
