DND Session 3-1

I ACCIDENTLY EXITED OUT AGAIN SO BEGINNING NOTES WILL LOOK DIFFERENT FROM MY NORM AND ARE TAKEN FROM KASLIN

Group sees the bromic islands ahead of them. Dotted with lights, reminding everyone about home, however there were more tropical trees some mansion style homes can be seen on top of the hills.

Kaslin suggests to the crew as the 'boss' that the bay should be signaled that we are coming in.

it is roughly 1030pm

Daria is gathering their stuff back up

Tano is collecting their things

Alistor watches the shore come closer

Kaslin: checking and making sure everything is accounted for. Sees Bastion down there. He is off to the side on one of the sides, a lantern in one hand and a book in the other. kaslin tries to see what the book was and fails. Then asks Bastion what he was doing. Explains he is looking over and Kaslin offers to help with other counts. Bastion reaches in his coat and pulls a small book out and hands it to kaslin, saying he can go and look over things to help. brings up helping one side and meeting at the other end of the ship, happily accepts. Bastion is happy can says last time they were at the bromic isles many things went missing. Kaslin tries to console about what stuff happens and spitballs on how to fix certain issues. the port Usla (capitol and main port) talks about the grand sacking of the port. also talk about what gangs to avoid or piss of in general and how to try and keep the goods safe. kaslin and bastion go about checking the books (having real bad luck with ones.)

Alistor: cleaning up all his stuff and work table where he was experimenting, Tyr is also helping clean up the area. tyr and alistor discuss why they are stopping at bromic isles first which is where lord orellion was who is actually tano's uncle. they talk about how nothing should go boom and if it does it is Tano's fault. Also asks for Tyr's help to try and find a gift for Ladia. is able to thoroughly convince Tyr to come and help.

Aegas: while waiting around, lesedi approaches them. apologizes for bugging them and asks for a favor and asks aegas to pick up a couple things since she is staying on ship. pulls out a piece of parchment and gives it to aegas. mainly grocery items, but one thing in particular, is a book about the golden god.

Daria: while packing hears the familiar voice of dietrich. says he has a question. talks about how he misplaced something, one of his books. asks for what book is missing so they could see if they have it. the title is mystery of magic, looks through books and does not find it. last time he saw it was while he was late night reading right before the island incident. Was reading in his bunk before he fell asleep. they look around and daria does not find the book at all, they do see something though. as they are going across the deck, daria sees out of the corner of their eye, there is a very wet obbvious to daria dry spot where its wet around the perimeter. Daria tries to be gentle as possible to dietrich about what possibly happened to the book. he flubs and changes what he was gonna say, daria was able to figure out that it was a secret place. dietrich goes well crap, that was a 500 year old book, cant be replaced.

A slum area is further out

A mansion or estate on the top of a hill shining brightly with its windows

Tano doesnt remember much if anything at all

Everyone else joins her up top

We have reached Usla and the Bromic Islands

The DM gave Tano character token a fucking crown CUZ SHES A PRINCESS xD
Hears the sounds of people, not really anyone at the docks waiting for them

No one is there to receive them

Aegas rings the bell to try and get someones attention

They wait for a long time, and ahead they see several figures approaching
The one dressed in regal clothes approaches and she says someone should have been here to see them

Daria, Kas, Aegas, Tano- dont think shes lying
Allistor doesnt think shes lying but something isnt right

Kas knows the protocol, knows that someone of the port authority and some guards should be at the docks, should at elast been someone to greet them since they signaled the approach

Somethin aint right

Somethin smells like fish and it aint the fish!

Allistor whispers to the group, somethings off here

Kas tells everyone in a whisper to get back on the ship and to pull up the boards to get off

Jesla, Rani, and Nuss are the names of the newcomers

Kaslin whispers not to answer since the paperwork is in his name

Rest of group looks intimidating but not grabbing for weapons, yet

Its not like your smugglers or anything

Kaslin appears from under Aegas’s skirt and mentions that hes the boss and they shouldnt be who they should be answering to, wealthy or not
Jesla says she heard the bell and went to see the ship that came by

Kaslin mentions their gonna wait until they get officially checked in

And Jesla wishes them eventful times and then walks off

Not long after hears a tired individual

I would have been here sooner but there was a disturbance at another dock

Melvik is the name and hes part of teh port authority- human

Kas asks for papers

The guy is telling the truth with a slight amount of spilled beverage around his wrists

Papers are in order

Kas tells him to tell orillian that his lost stray has come to visit

Wait until the morning cuz everyone is asleep for the night most likely

Kas talks merchant talk
And Tano almost looses her shit at being called a lost stray
Kas whispers about Jesla visiting first

Jesla is vying for orillians position for years

Oriliians seal is needed on all merchant papers

As Kas mentions that theyll be off pier but not on the dock he get sa disappointed look from a crewmen that just finished tying up

Kas offers some of his whiskey coffee for the crew in payment and there was much rejoicing!

KAS GOT HIS 5th NAT 1 OF THE DAY (Every 3rd role is a 1 glitch was going on for him???)

(We think its a glitch with his game as ALL of his rolls were super low and below 10, minus two times total, when the DM checked everything was low and 4 nat 1’s came up so something fucky, we switched him to google rolls for now)

Morning comes and everyone got good sleep

We redock in the morning

And Kas gives out coffee

Aegas promises waffles, bacon, tea

“I dont think you’ll like how I make waffles, cuz I make pancakes then drop them on the ground and stomps on them” (Aegas out of character)

Everyone has big breakfast!

As everyone gets off the planks, melvin is waiting for everyone, and looks like he didnt get any sleep

We left a message with orillian, but something horrible has happened and he was attacked
