By the time Otis stepped outside, the leaves were on fire. And not in the literal sense. The leaves of the Great Hexa-Oak had changed into their natural autumn colors of vibrant red, orange, and yellow, which contrasted against the purples of Zes City. It looked like the tree itself was made out of fire and all the other Hexa-Oaks looked similar, bringing an almost unique look to the purple land. During the fall, it was normal for the leaves on the trees in Chiptunia to change color and eventually fall off during the winter, unlike the Treeangles in Paradise, which were a species of spruce/evergreen.

“Wow.. It always gets prettier each year!” Otis thought as she walked away from the door of her apartment complex. She smiled as she took a look at the Great Hexa-Oak, proud to call the capital of Chiptunia her home. And although she enjoyed visiting Paradise from time to time, she always has enjoyed the bustling city life of her homeland. Heck, even the smaller cities and towns of Chiptunia were fast paced, even if they were a lot smaller in population AND space.

Thankfully for Otis, today was an off day from her work so.. She was able to have a day of relaxation. Normally she took walks through the city and dined at some of her favorite family-owned restaurants and cafés, but today she felt it would be a nice day to take a small walk through the forest and take the trail that went off the northwest side of the city. Heck, Sesta City was to the northwest as well, as it was a coastal city. It would probably take an average Pokemon like Otis about 2 hours to get there with the normal walking speed of a Chiptunian. That is, if they don’t want to use a flying taxi or a train, that is.

Otis started to walk down the avenue that led to a train station that could bring her to Sesta City relatively quickly while also bringing her through the Hexa-Oak forest and into the plains where a lot of different flower species could be found. Then it would bring them to the Sesta train station. Lots of Chiptunians went to the coastal city to see the docks, which often housed many famous transporters (which often bring materials bought by the 3D Isles to the islands themselves), military, and general travel boats. There were many other populated places around the country that were popular tourist destinations, such as Zes City, Hex City, and the Senary Outpost.

Otis eventually got to her train station and paid for a ticket for the next available train to Sesta City, heading up the stairs, and walking onto the platform and taking a seat to wait for her train. There were many people here, mainly Chiptunian Pokemon as hinted by their purple, indigo, lavender, and sometimes even purple-magenta coats, feathers, skin, and scales. Though there were a few others from other lands, a few cyan colored Paradise Pokemon, red colored Pokemon from the 3D Isles and Hearttune, and a few others. It was mostly Chiptunian Pokemon, though. The lively chatter around the station gave off a more cheery vibe and a slightly more enjoyable experience for Otis. She always has enjoyed being in places that reminded her of the city.

Plus, the monorail trains were a popular form of travel, whether it be with Chiptunian citizens or with tourists. Like the boats they have, the monorail trains were fast, smooth, and an overall comfortable ride. They often had multiple cars that were segmented and the fleet of trains were white with a colored stripe down the sides to differentiate one train from another, essentially looking like the ones from Disney World but a little longer to hold more passengers. They even had the same pilot’s cabin as Disney monorails! The colors the stripes came in were red, orange, yellow, lime, green, cyan, blue, purple, pink, black, silver, coral, and gold, with each color appearing on only ONE monorail in the fleet of 13 trains and they were often called by the color of the stripe on the sides. There were double doors that moved automatically on either side of each cabin, allowing those entering and exiting to go onto their respective platforms. They also used powerful magnets to accelerate and come to a halt.

Otis looked around a bit as she waited, eventually hearing the screech of a train coming to a halt in front of the train platform. The monorail that stopped was Monorail Blue, easily distinguished by the blue stripe. She realized this was her train and she got up from her seat, going inside through the open mechanical doors. She sat down on one of the seats, relaxing a bit in the air-conditioned cabin. The interior was an Admiral Blue color and had Navy Blue and Cobalt Blue accents. The colors of the insides differed from each train. Otis actually quite liked the monorails, as they were pretty comfortable for her. And they were a Chiptunian technology so they probably couldn’t be found anywhere else, unless people bought them from the company that built and produced the fleet used by all of Chiptunia.

“So nice..” Otis thought as the train doors closed and started to move forward. The monorail eventually started to head through the autumn forest of Hexa-Oaks, the vibrant colors going in a blur as the train went to a safe yet fast speed. It would probably take an hour or so at the most. And so, Otis sat back and relaxed as the monorail took her to Sesta City, the home of the most famous docks that she knew of…
