Eudoxia
Corvus | Blue

Eudoxia
The large black throwess moved through the snow as if she were a native. No hint of the chill catching up to her, though she slowed some as the clearing and strangers came into view. Grinning around pants that painted her breath into crystalline mist, she had never been into Hoarfrost territory before, but had always been curious of the icy clan. Batting at a few snowflakes like a cub Dox shook her coat free of clinging ice and moved inside with a nod to the thrax.

Corvus
Cor looked around, shaking himself off from the accumulating snowflakes with a vengeance once he was sure he wasn't going to shower anyone else with ice crystals. Snow. Cold. Ice. The whole winter season was overrated, but he knew a certain someone was planning on being here and wanted to see her again. The thera hunched into himself, ears pricked as he looked over the heads of many of the assembled grans as they greeted old friends or introduced themselves to new ones. He leaned against the nearby tree, then hopped away as the frigid cold (and prickly bark) snagged his mane and grimaced.

Eudoxia
The gran rumbled a warm greeting back to the thrax and nodded, happy to explore the icy pack, and to be welcomed here. The sheer amount of grans that knew each other was, to be honest, a bit daunting. She didn't feel lonesome as a rule, but alone in the crowds that were gathering the discomfort was palpable, and she flexed her claws faintly into the snow. Leaping into a tree just to creep away for a moment... Her ears pricked and her head tilted as she noticed a familiar form below her. Neatly aiming and dropping herself between his shoulders with a laugh as he jolted away from the tree. "I still dunno how you can be so fluffy and so cold all the time, pretty one." she purred, primly settling herself over the cold patch in his fur, where her natural heat instantly set to work warming the larger male. A faint purr as she made herself comfy there.

Corvus
The thera grumbled to himself and started to move to another spot that looked warmer when he was suddenly hit from above. The voice instantly told him who and he growled up at her, but his ears pricked higher as he turned to look at her. "Figured you'd be here," he rumbled, lips turning up into a half grin. "Wouldn't be here otherwise. Grantheras are not built for the cold!"

Eudoxia
The gran chuckled for the growl, lightly patting at one of the too-erect ears that proved just how 'angry' the thera was with her. Cuddling pointedly into his mane and purring, "Good thing I'm here then, keep you from freezing, silly Vus." she returned, well aware just how effective she was at warming anyone against her after years healing others. A few little licks settling his mane into order around her, like some sunset-toned nest.  Suddenly her ears flicked, and her head tilted, "Hmmm," Eudoxia rumbled softly, "Does that mean you came just to find me, Vusi?" she asked, smirking a bit.

Corvus
He rolled his eyes at the nickname and gave himself a shake - just shy of trying to get her off, then moved to find somewhere warmer. "What would make you think that?" He chuckled. Oh, he definitely appreciated Dox's warmth, there was no denying that. She had just the right amount of talent for him. The thought stoked his inner flame as no one else had and he chuckled again. "Where to, my lady?"

Eudoxia
"You said so, silly." she returned, not missing a beat as she cleared her throat and offered - in a none too shabby impression of the larger gran - "Figured you'd be here wouldn't have come otherwise..." the diviner parroted, then buried into his mane, chuckling. She let her chin rest between his ears and relaxed into the familiar scent, and the relative invisibility given the sheer volume of his mane. "Not real sure, only just got here," she admitted, able to speak more quietly so close to his ears. "More grans than I expected..." she admitted, shrugging a little, it was nice not having to be in the crowd. She had to admit, "They have a whale i think, if you're hungry, or the hot springs... though not sure how you dry off after." she padded some of his fur for emphasis, remembering how long the thera took to dry and not wanting him to get chilled... or stuck in the springs till Maia knew when...

Corvus
Cor huffed a laugh at the parroting as the tiny teal head peeked out of his mane to peer up at Dox, then chirped at her in greeting before snuggling back into invisibility. The thera moved towards the scent of food with an appreciative sniff. "Don't get whale often," he mused, surprised. "Wonder how they brought it in, or was it beached already?" Half to himself as he expertly moved through the crowd, occasionally greeting females here or there that he knew by name. He slowed at the concept of hotsprings and heaved a sigh. Much as he wanted to, he could only imagine how long it would take for him to dry out. "I wouldn't mind getting stuck in there, but not with everyone coming and going," he muttered with a snort.

Eudoxia
"No idea, I dont think anyone's asked yet?" she replied, at least not that she had heard... which as a diviner tended to be more than most heard, but she wasn't going there. Not with so many grans around, at least. She blinked at the tiny demonic, and nuzzled him gently. Chuckling as Blue burrowed against her side for extra heat. Her head tilted faintly, that he knew no few others there, but brushed it aside for the moment. "Sure you wouldn't, but I dunno who'd be feedin' you till the spring thaw, Vusi." she pointed out, nuzzling his ear to take some of the sting out of the prodding. Bidding however, "Theres a lot of folks here, yeah..." she murmured, paws tucking in tighter as if to shrink into him more.

Corvus
Cor shrugged philosophically and moved to a more open space along the fringes when he felt her tensing up - something only he'd notice due to her sitting literally atop him. Blue chirped at her cheerfully once more and peeked through the tresses at the crowd as violet and black fur mingled around him. The thera pouted at the point, then huffed a laugh. "Wouldn't have stopped me from trying any other time, though suppose you're right. Really wonder how the others deal with the snow." He looked around, then picked a direction, ambling easily around the space until they reached the food pile and nabbed a good haunch for him to share with Dox.

Eudoxia
Dox leaned over and nuzzled the tiny kompaani's head with a soft rumble, not unlike a mother to her cubs, not that it occurred to her. "The snow's never bothered me... so can't help much there, Vusi." she returned, shifting a bit as something stabbed through her stomach and shaking her head. A soft grumble, but she made herself comfortable once more and hummed a soft tune as the thera wandered. More content than she expected know he and Blue were back in her sight.

Corvus
Blue gave a tiny giggle and a chirp before hiding back in the warm fur. He peered through, then peeped and slipped to Cor's paws to nibble on the haunch that was offered. Cor chuckled down at his little companion and tore off a piece. "You're going to have to get off to eat. I refuse to be a table, even for you." He turned his head at her shift and blinked at the grumble, but offered her the meat - out of reach so she wouldn't get any ideas.

Eudoxia
Dox arched a brow, as if considering the demand, then seamlessly lunged forward, one paw keeping her on his back, but she had the meat in her maw primly. Sniffing, the throwess gave a smug little noise, and simply curled herself between his paws against Blue. Still thoroughly buried in his mane and with the slightest shake she was invisible again. A nose and eyes in a sea of sunset toned silk. "You're so picky." She tutted, but only settled into the meat contentedly as it soothed a gnawing she hadn't actually noticed in her gut. Not until she started eating at least. That had been a theme the past few days, it was odd, but she relaxed still playing heater to the larger gran and the tiny demoni.

Corvus
The thera sighed, ears flicking back at the sudden movement and gave her a rumble back, then just plunked his chin on her head and tucked his paws around her. He'd eat after the two were done and just watched the others around them. His ears pricked back up at the announcement, nodding to the leaders and shaman of the Hoarfrost, blinking at the ice sculpture of Mazza Mirri. His mouth went dry at just the thought of licking ice and he gave himself a shake and curled closer around his heater. "I sure hope you won't go licking sculptures any time soon," he grumbled.

Eudoxia
"I prefer using claws or teeth to carve, personally." she returned, shrugging. Painting was her favorite though. Not to degrade the efforts of the hoarfrost shaman of course, but she only watched the procession curiously. Tail wagging as much as it could somewhere under his fluff and his neck behind her for the fold around her. She nuzzled at the thera and resumed eating. Ensuring Blue got enough, tiny thing he was, as much as herself.

Corvus
Cor snorted inn agreement, but only dug into his own meat bits with relish. It wasn't every day he got to try whale and it sure was rich.  Blue paused in his own chewing to stare at Dox for a moment before turning to look at Cor. He stared up at his friend for a long moment, then giggled and went back to eating, making Cor pause and stare down at his friend in confusion. "You..ah...allright?" he asked, softly, moving to lean over Dox and nuzzle the top of her head briefly.

Eudoxia
"Hm?" the throwess hummed, distracted as she tried to find a comfortable spot. Glancing up for the lick and smiling, "Yeah, I'm fine. Just can't get comfy." she admitted, finally finding a position and curled into it. Eyes rising as the shaman gathered again, chanting, and her ears perked. A cold hum through her senses, and her focus was arrested, not even flinching as the statue shattered and the actual divine replaced it.
How very interesting...

Corvus
The thera tilted his head at the announcement, tucking a paw around Dox absently and shaking himself as the place *finally* warmed up. His eyes widened and he tucked down at the physical representation of a goddess, staring at her frigid beauty. To be half as beautiful as that...that a dream. He didn't even feel the soft snow trickling over the crowd and melting across his fur, lightly dusting him in white freckles. The warmth of the dark-furred gran next to him made him smile and the thera looked back down at her, blinking at her until Dox finally settled. Absently, he began combing through her main with his claws, oh so lightly.
