The Basics
How did they first meet?
Through work primarily. They were originally introduced in Snezhnaya before they were sent to Liyue together. When first meeting, Childe has a lot of issues with Alexandra and what he viewed as her weak nature, near hating her submissive nature at times. Likewise, Alexandra has issue with trying to figure out Childe and his intentions, unable to decipher what he wanted or what he was after, and taking issue with his more aggressive pursuits, especially in regards to his rather obvious distaste for her calmer nature. However, it is this dislike that sparked a mutual appreciation between the two, Childe’s aggressive, brash and narrow outlook on her sending her into retaliation as she made her place known, her inner passions and strengths coming out as she reminded him, just like him, she earned her place and she was more than the meek pretty face he seems to take her for. This display of ferocity and tenacity opened up a new door of respect for them as Childe came to appreciate not just her ability in battle, but her strength in moving through life and it’s struggles.
How did they get together?
In a word: defiance. After working with one another for some time, there came to be some degree of attraction between the pair, despite how it might have been viewed as inappropriate or a conflict of interest at times. They weren’t sure if it was romantic or purely physical at the time of initiation and frankly, Alexandra at least didn’t care. She chose to approach him on how she felt in an act of what one might have called rebelliousness in regards to what everyone she had ever submitted to might have thought on such a match, and made her feelings clear. He reciprocated, and only time could tell what would develop between them.
Who kissed who first?
Childe was the first to kiss Alexandra. Despite her frankness with her feelings she was still rather reserved about the whole thing due to her more submissive nature and was clearly too shy to initiate anything beyond herself. He didn’t seem to mind and found a degree of entertainment in teasing her about it by being so up front. A few moments after her initial confession and his following reciprocation, he took advantage of the awkward silence she left, clearly unsure of where to go, to take her head in his hands and kiss her for the first time.
What's the relationship like? Smooth? Rocky?
A bit all over the place in all honesty. The pair feel a physical attraction to one another, and they work well together. However, Alexandra struggles to fully trust in Childe, as she knows what he is capable of and the powers for which he works. In honesty, he scared her sometimes, but as their feelings grew more and more, she couldn’t help but want things to be okay and want to be by his side. Their love is a battle but neither of them have been known to give up easily.
What do they like the most about each other?
Childe makes Alexandra feel whole and, despite her fears of his intentions and power, safe. She likes that she feels she can relax around him, even if she should not, as it is something, she has never been able to do before. She doesn’t feel the need to be constantly at war with others and herself with him around. She also knows that any promises he makes to her, he intends to keep. Childe appreciates Alexandra’s candor and dedication, admiring her perseverance despite her failings. Her open mind and warm regards tend to put him at ease, helping him escape the world when he really needs to.
What do they like the least about each other?
Alexandra, again, is somewhat afraid of what Childe can do, and holds some fears in regards to not always knowing his intentions. She despises not being able to read him and often wishes he could be more open with her. Childe tends to have some issues with Alexandra’s somewhat blindly idealistic notions, both in fear of her own safety and regarding how foolhardy he tends to regard it as. He does not stop her, however, as he knows she has little else to cling to. He also wishes she had the ability to better stand up for herself outside of her work, actively attempting to sway her in the right direction. Where he once despised her rather meek nature, he has come to appreciate her inner strength of heart and mind.
What are the dates like?
Their dates tend to be quite downtime and alone time. They do go out every now and again, but often find themselves more than a little preoccupied or dodging cold looks from others. They find solace in their privacy be it during calm and quiet nights together or more heated or passionate nights.
What was their most memorable date?
The date Childe taught Alexandra how to cook. Being as privileged and coddled as she was, she lacked some degree of basic functionality when it came to domestic duties, which was something Childe seemed ready to fix. This stuck with them both as it was one of the first times they really seemed to relax in a purely calm and intimate moment of bonding, feeling almost like their own little family. Learning Childe was so capable in the house was, of course, an added bonus.
Domestic Questions
Who cleans the most? Contrary to that, who is the messiest?
Childe tends to keep things cleaner than Alexandra does. This isn’t to say that Alexandra can’t clean but her idea of clean tends to be something more akin to organized chaos.
Who usually cooks?
Childe. Alexandra was useless with a kitchen for a long time though she is actively learning from him.
Who has the best table manners?
Alexandra, if only due to her very particular upbringing. She was raised as an upper class lady, manners and all, and can’t shake the habits even in more relaxed environments. I like to think Alexandra has to give him a hand with his chopsticks learning as well
Who tends to worry the most?
Alexandra by far. She tends to overthink everything a great deal, though Childe often finds it endearing and part of why she’s so good at what she does. He appreciates the concern she holds for him.
Who is more inclined to be jealous or possessive?
It can go either way. Alexandra tends to be somewhat selfconsious at times while Childe can be somewhat defensive or possessive, though neither of them tend to act in a particularly aggressive manner unless otherwise greatly set off or provoked. Childe tends to hand over Alexandra more often than not though this is also part of his duty (though it’s also totally because he cares.)
How do they resolve their arguments?
Talking and more talking. Both of them are more than. A little charismatic, so trying to work their way out of a disagreement can be tricky but also equally funny for more minor issues. Major issues try allow one another their space before coming back to talk it through.
Who remembers dates, birthdays, and appointments?
Both of them. Work translates into personal time in this sense.
Who is the most physically affectionate?
Initially Childe by a landslide. Alexandra had no real clue what she was doing and again was very nervous about everything. Childe took it upon himself to shower the physical love upon his beloved as a result. This eventually helped her to gather her own boldness as well.
Who has the most nightmares and how do they deal with them?
They both have their fair share for different reasons. Alexandra is more outwardly affected by them, and in turn, more privy to more constant comforts during the night. She finds solace in Childe’s warm embrace on these nights, as his strong grip makes her feel like nothing could touch her. In Childe’s case, he may hide it better but Alexandra is no fool and very empathetic to his afflictions. She may not be as big and strong as Childe, but her grip is no less comforting as she takes him in her own embrace on difficult nights.
Who steals the blankets?
It could alternate but inadvertently Alexandra. She tends to turn a lot in her sleep some nights and can disturb the blankets, becoming an inadvertent burrito.
Who gets cold the easiest?
Not to say either get cold easily but Alexandra tends to be colder in body to begin with.
Who pays for the food the most, when they go out?
Considering Childe’s access to the Bank, he tends to be the one to pick up the bill, though Alexandra isn’t afraid to splurge a bit either.
Do they enjoy dancing?
It depends on the situation. Social events they attended sometimes call for it, and it’s not as if they despise it. However, there is nothing quite as nice as a dance together alone under the moonlight
Do they ever trade clothes?
Not super often but Alexandra might steal some things on occasion
Do they ever go swimming together?
Maybe? They don’t have as many opportunities as they’d like but there’s no reason to say it would never happen!
Do they ever cook together?
Yes, for sure. Childe actually goes out of his way to help teach Alexandra how to cook both because it’s cute and out of fear of her inability to function in a household alone
Do they enjoy a good round of truth or dare?
Maybe in a teasing way? Alexandra isn’t really the type but she’ll play his games sometimes.
Do they enjoy pillow fights?
Less pillow fight and more just general throwing out of teasing or embarrassment
Do they ever play sports together?
Childe might take her ice fishing or something similar! They also may spar together on occasion
Do they give each other nicknames?
Not until later perhaps but there are nicknames to come up. Childe already has his alias and title and whatever his hidden real name may be, but Alexandra sometimes takes to calling him Solnishka. On Childe’s side, earlier on he takes to calling her Sashenka, much to her surprise, suspicion and confusion. It grows on her though. (Thank you — for THIS ONE)
Have they ever gone skinny dipping?
Maybe at some point? I imagine them finally finding a sense of privacy at night, out by a lake under the stars and the fire flies and taking full advantage of it at some point after fighting off the embarrassment
What do they like when going out for food?
I can’t see either of them as being picky. Childe isn’t one to complain and Alexandra has a stomach like cast iron so they’re always willing to try something different!
What do they do when they're bored and together?
I’m not sure these two can stand being bored honestly, or rather even have time for that. They cherish their alone time together be it with them being active outside or in the bed or just sitting in a comfortable silence together as he watches Alexandra get herself absorbed in a good book. Even their time working alone together is precious.
Have they dedicated songs to each other?
They wouldn’t have songs in particular but do I have a playlist? Maybe o.o
How do they comfort each other when one of them is scared?
Childe doesn’t show his fears often, so the comforts Alexandra gives him are rare. However, she knows when he needs something and won’t hesitate to just hold in in silence when he needs it, even if he says he doesn’t. Alexandra, in the other hand, isn’t afraid to admit to hear fears. She does not actively seek comfort, and never expects it from Childe, but he often gives it to her anyway with words and situations to distract her as he holds her in a way that assures her everything will be fine. She knows he would protect her, given the promises he’s made to her, and she trusts him with that. He makes her feels safer than she’s ever been despite his aggressions.
Have any pets? (If not: would they get any?)
Not at preset. Their current situation does not exactly allow for ease of taking care of any animals. Alexandra, however, tends to be very good with animals and wouldn’t mind getting something at least small to take care of in the future.
What is their dream house?
Alexandra wants to be comfortable above all else and anything that could provide such an environment is her dream come true. I can’t image they are extremely picky in this regard, but they likely wouldn’t mind their own comfort zone (provided Childe still has room to get into trouble).
What is their ideal vacation?
It would change depending on who you asked but both could, similar to their home seeking, find solace in their solitude, perhaps by a cold lake in winter. Childe tends to his training and ice fishing while Alexandra takes pleasure in the environment and it’s peaceful nature. The promise of a warm fire together late at night wraps up any day they’d spend perfectly.
How often are roadtrips?
Roadtrips being travel, it can happen fairly often for them given their occupations. For the sake of vacation time, however, not very often. They try to take advantage of what freedoms they do have during work trips, however.
What are their careers?
Both are members of the Fatui, with Alexandra being a diplomat and Childe being one of the 11 Harbingers and Alexandra’s superior.
What do they do after a hard day at work?
It honestly depends on the day and how it was. Sometimes, they take to themselves, Childe with his training and fighting and Alexandra with her peace and her books. Sometimes they’ll join one another for their hobbies and on other days they take full advantage of what little time they have alone together, be it sitting with one another, going to eat, or giving in to the night.
Do they attend any clubs or formal parties together?
Formal balls perhaps, though they’re likely of little interest to Childe. Alexandra finds herself in full bloom during such events, however, and it’s hard for him not to find her confidence and capability attractive. Seeing her in an elegant form in appearance beyond her normal grace is a bonus. Though getting her out of it could be seen as equally so.
Who is the big spoon and why?
Childe. He is big, he’s strong, and he likes to have a hold on Alexandra, given she feels so much smaller and more fragile than him. Alexandra likes to feel protected and Childe likes to protect.
What are their morning rituals?
There was once a time where, at the beginning of their relationship, Alexandra often woke up alone. After confronting their feelings and coming to make amends through all their struggles however, they now find a great deal of pleasure in waking in one another’s presence. Both tend to be early to wake though sometimes struggle against one another to get out of bed. Childe is especially bad about this when he wants to be teasing or is seeking other such fun. Otherwise, get up, get dressed and get to work. They both know they have things they should be doing and try not to waste time beyond harassing one another. Alexandra can take her time getting ready sometimes, however, she has an appearance to keep up, even if by force of habit.
Do they go to sleep at the same time as each other?
Some days, but not all. Some days they are lucky to fall asleep together, other days one might finish up and crash before the other. The other will often awaken if one of them is late, however, so really, they tend to fall asleep together.
What's their favorite nonsexual activity together?
While the time can be rare, the two find enjoyment watching public performances, and general nights on the town. Childe isn’t afraid to get out and about and makes it a point to drag Alexandra with him whenever he can, believing it to be healthy for her and entertaining for them both. They also try to indulge in one another’s hobbies – ice fishing, swimming, reading, training and, of course, indulging in food and drink.
What do they do when the other is stressed?
Take things nice and slow. They tend to be stressed out a lot, especially Alexandra, mostly due to their duties. Whenever one is stressed, the other takes a moment to keep them grounded, the pair often taking careful quiet time with one another to ease the stress away with anything from talks to hugs to other action.
How do they spend time if the other is gone?
Honestly, the same way they do if the other is around. The only real difference comes down to what they do with their free time. The pair are no strangers to spending their free time together doing things separately and have no qualms with spending time by themselves when they have to. They do miss one another, of course, and make up for lost time when they are both around.
Thoughts on PDA(Public Displays of Affection)?
Alexandra is and always has been somewhat reserved and is especially still so in this aspect of their relationship. She will not stop him if it’s minor, but she can’t help but be more than a little embarrassed about any displays of affection, and often tries to reason as to whether it’s even appropriate. Childe, on the other hand, has no real issues with it, or at least much fewer than her. He enjoys getting a rise out of her, and this is one of the many ways he goes about it while satisfying his own needs for affection. It doesn’t hurt to stake his claim at times either.
Thoughts on each other's friends?
Honestly, “friends” are not exactly something they come across often, given that they run in the same circles generally and whomever else they are interacting with outside they are generally doing so for work related reasons. They share some acquaintances, such as Meixiang, though it is hard to say what they think of one another’s friend groups given they rarely seem to interact, if they exist at all.
Would they ever get married?
In the future, yes. Alexandra longs for a feeling of peace and security and feels a great deal of this with Childe. She recognizes him as someone she can trust, and more than this, the first person she ever genuinely loved and who loved her in return. Likewise, Alexandra’s kindness and down to earth nature had a massive effect on Childe, as she kept him grounded and treated him like the person he was, not simply the title he wore. As a result, he came to feel a comfort with her he was unwilling to let go of and a love he did not understand until he met her. Their growing affections and dedication, unsurprisingly, eventually led to their union. There would be many obstacles, such as Alexandra’s family, but nothing too strong to defeat their love.
Thoughts on kids?
Again, in the future, yes. Despite the issues that may come with their occupation (and Childe’s love of bloodshed), the pair would be nothing if not loving and devoted parents given Alexandra’s soft nature and Childe’s gentle compassion for his family (and house husband superpowers).
How'd they meet each other's families?
Alexandra has only briefly met small parts of Childe’s family given their constant work and being away from home. Her most notable interaction was with Teucer following his becoming a stowaway to see his brother. Childe, on the other hand, has met Alexandra’s immediate family. Alexandra’s brother, Sacha, is also of the Fatui and has worked with Childe and his sister a number of times. Alexandra’s parents found themselves introduced in Snezhnaya during a personal visit.
Thoughts on each other's family?
They have only met ones another’s families in brief spurts but have formed some various opinions on them. Alexandra has always been aware that Childe loves his family, his siblings especially. As a result, it was no surprise that she came to enjoy their company and felt a great deal of comfort with them. She could not help but be a little envious but grateful to feel so welcome and comfortable. Childe, on the other hand, while in love with Alexandra, could not find a love of her family. He came to see and understand the stresses Alexandra’s parents had bestowed upon her and, despite them making her stronger for it, he despised that their conditioning and objective treatment of her had been the reason she had to become strong in the first place. When it comes to Alexandra’s brother, while the two may not always see eye to eye, Childe is aware that he, at the very least, cares a great deal for his sister, and is deserving of a level of respect as a result.
How are the holidays spent? Do they spend them at home? Do they visit each other's families?
Whatever holidays they can afford to celebrate, they will often celebrate together, especially when away from home as one another are all they really have. Back home, Alexandra may be likely to visit Childe’s family during certain holidays but not the other way around unless Alexandra really did not want to be alone and was left with no choice. He wouldn’t leave her so willingly in that situation.
How are birthdays spent?
Mostly like any other day. They likely don’t put much stock in them save for major milestones, and even then it likely isn’t much publicly. They might have their own times in private, however, celebrating with personal time and some occasional spoils in many regards. Overall, likely not a major deal but not something they simply skim over in the long run. Childe probably takes advantage of her day to get her to open up a bit more, in whatever way they’re willing to go, and in turn Alexandra takes the time to get Childe to relax a bit. They enjoy their alone time.
Have they ever kissed in the rain?
Two battle worn people in love never kissing in the rain? They’ve probably had their moments, those days when they thought the other might not come back, especially Childe given his need for carnage, that result in impulse affections even in worse for wear weather.
Their favorite ways of being held?
They have preferences that tend to compliment one another here, Alexandra enjoying being held and feeling secure while Childe likes to hold her close as it keeps him somewhat grounded. In a full on embrace, they both get a feeling of security out of it, and it helps that with the size difference, they’re pretty darn cute. Alexandra does like to grab Childe from behind sometimes as well, again the both of them gaining a sense of security from the action.
What happens when the other is getting flirted with?
They’re both rather calm in this aspect, the only reason for either of them to jump being if it’s clear the action will not be relented. Alexandra is more likely to pull Childe away and Childe more likely to disrupt the initiator.

Downward kisses tend to be common between them. They are not, or at least Childe isn’t, afraid to see one another as canvases to be covered, taking their time to show love to every part of one another’s body. A favorite for Alexandra tends to be a teasing kiss, giving her the opportunity to get more comfortable with both physical affection and PDA while also finding a way to tease Childe back. From behind is also somewhat common for the sake of closeness and affection.
Who is has a tendency to be more dominant? Do they switch?
Childe tends to be the more dominant of the pair. Alexandra has always been more reserved, even as she regains her confidence, so Childe often takes it upon himself to take the lead in their affections, especially more intimate situations. Alexandra’s neck and stomach tend to be very sensitive and prone to attack, it not helping that she’s more than a little ticklish and Childe knows and takes full advantage of this. They probably have on occasion though it is not likely a regular thing given erratic schedules. And then, even when they are together, it’s not super often that things are taken far in such a situation as Alexandra isn’t always super comfortable with the idea, which Childe respects, though she isn’t against it all the time.

It likely depends on the day and the mood overall. They have their intimate more passionate moments where things are slow and gentle, reflecting their affections and love, the time they have been separated or simply the mood of the night. Nothing is every taken beyond a point of comfort, however.
