As the bag of coins dropped on the table with a loud 'thud', the hunter grinned. "Pleasure doing business with you. Feel free to watch me hunt this one down, it'll be in the waters so you can be safe on the cliff side.", He said as he collected the pouch, weighing it in his hand momentarily before storing it in a chest behind him. You watched him quickly prepare for the oncoming battle that would certainly occur, a bag filled with a variety of potions, a spell-book, a blade forged from unknown metals that glowed in the dimly-lit tent that this man called his "Office". It was a little shady, but then again only the shady people would be mad enough to try and hunt down a royal dragon.

After a couple of days of travel, you arrive on the cliff side that you were told to watch from. The weather was gloomy, an icy gale nearly blew you backwards as you stood and watched the hunter's little ship sail off into the waters. You read the pamphlet in your hands, which described the creature that you were seeking.

"Royal Wavehunter- A variant of the Wavehunter species that has grown ancient and powerful, causing it to grow to a massive size in an ocean of endless food. Unlike the regular variant, the Royal variant has a strict diet of meats and cannot subsist on plant matter alone. While it often hunts for larger targets, this one in particular has found that small targets such as human ships sufficed as a perfect buffet just out in the middle of nowhere, defenseless. From observations, it has been deducted that this dragon is capable of changing the weather and the ocean patterns to benefit itself- the one noticeable disadvantage it has is that it seems to lack a sense of smell and has a rather poor eyesight above water, suggesting that its nostrils are not used for scent-following but purely for allowing one to breathe in the water. Some ships have had the smarts to hide the entire crew if they are passing an area where it had been spotted, but once it spots a single crew member, it will rip apart the entire ship to find more. This dragon is highly dangerous, and it is not recommended to ever approach an area near it."

In the distance you could already see the beast, ripping apart what seemed to have been a trades ship. Perhaps you just sent a man to his death with this request of yours, but it was far too late to quit now. All you could do, is watch.

The battle was brief- the ship that the hunter had set off on was swiftly destroyed as he seemingly danced on the waves using an unknown spell, just barely staying upright as the waves began growing wild. The three-headed beast's cries could be heard across the land as it attacked the foolish man, scalding and toxic waters being produced from its mouths. One head dove down into the man, deciding to get it over with quickly, but soon it was found that this was a mistake. He took this chance to leap from the furious waters and onto the beast, stabbing his blade into the creature without a second thought to gain some proper footing. After all, he didn't promise you that he would get it to you in one piece. Heavy storm clouds gathered around the area as the arena became obscured, and after just another minute, a great blue light glowed from the creature as everything went calm. No more horrendous cries of a furious dragon, no more terrifying waves crashing against the foot of the cliff, no more storm clouds gathering. In the confusion, you only noticed after a little bit that the dragon was beginning to approach the very cliff you were standing on, the hunter laying flat on his back on the top of one of the heads.

When it finally arrived, and you saw the glorious creature from up close, he sat up. He slid down the head and onto the cliff, letting out an exhausted breath. "This was.. A fast one. Had to get it before it'd dive down and vanish for another century, but seems that we got lucky!", he grinned as he turned to face the three curious dragon heads. He briefly waved what seemed to be an amulet in front of them, watching their eyes follow it. "Looks like it all should be alright. Now, I don't know where you're planning to keep this, but that's none of my business. Try not to get in trouble, buddy." The man said, turning back to you and placing the amulet in your hand and walking off. "Good luck, keep it fed, have fun."

And with that, you have now become the proud owner of a Royal Wavehunter.
