Gaston's Loss
Gaston having been punished for spreading chaos throughout The Celestial Kingdom, is imprisoned within a large crystal. This crystal was put in the castle gardens and was to be cared for (cleaning the crystal, keeping the area clean, etc) by a bloodline chosen by the queen. Gaston didn't care for any of his caretakers except one...Hannah. Hannah was the only one that enjoyed caring for him, and would always cheer him up. But her being mortal, she dies. Out of grief, Gaston can break free of his prison and isolates himself from the kingdom to mourn her. These are basically the thoughts going through his head.
It had been months since I heard that she died. I had never felt this emotion. I was upset but there was something else. Oh yes….sadness? Sadness? No that can’t be right. I mean I’ve never felt it before so I...well I wouldn’t know what it’s supposed to feel like if I’ve never felt it. I’ve been crying, weeping, mourning her death. It’s funny when I first heard that she died, my initial thought was to destroy this wretched world. Yeah, that’s not healthy, besides I was too overwhelmed to do anything...I hate this...I hate magic. This lifespan is a curse. If only I too was mortal….I could’ve maybe been there for her...I wanted her to hear me, I wanted to talk to her...no. I think in our own way we communicated somehow. She would talk, I would listen, and the silence was her answer. Though perhaps she could sense my response in her own way. Hannah...I promise I will better myself...no only for you...but for myself...I love you and I always will.
