Hey Stranger!

???

Hello and thank you for watching over my notebook.

So out of curiosity, who are you and why do you want to chat with me?

Best regards,
Another stranger

Ruh

Hey Stranger!

Happy you found my little  note. Well I guess I introduced myself before right? My name is Ruh Silvar ^^

I dunno. You looked kind and sweet as you sat there for hours in the cafe. I was wondering why such a nice guy sat alone for such a long time. I wanted to say hi back then, but I guess I was a tad too shy about it.

Is it so odd that I write to you and that I wanna know more about you?

Cheers Ruh

RIX

Hello Ruh!

My apology for not introducing myself. My name is Rix Kaso and no it's not odd. It just took me by surprise.  I'm the type who gets easily irritated if something unforeseen is happening, that is all.

Thanks for  the compliment and there wasn't anything to it for sitting alone at the cafe. I was just scribbling and daydreaming. That is all.

Sadly I can not connect the name to anyone. So, to who's appearance belongs this nice name?

With best regards Rix Kaso

Ruh

Hey Rix!

Do you often just go out by yourself and do day-dreaming? It sounds so philosophic and relaxing, but on the other hand its kind of feels lonely. Well, who is talking here?

I'm usually out by myself as well and it definitely doesn't feel philosophical in my case hahaha. So, please forgive me if I just ask so bluntly, but. What kind of kin are you?

I can't deny that I didn't had that much of a free look on you from my place. I really love this cafe though. It's really quiet and sunny in there, but when it's getting fuller i usually set my retreat.

Do you come there often? Are you living close by?

Cheers Ruh

RIX

Good morning, Ruh,

I am often by myself and I indeed sometimes feel pretty lonely. But that is  just how it is. I have my reasons you could say. Though why are you on your own. After hearing your answer it seems, you are nearly as frequently alone as I am.

My race? I am more or less a normal Mortalia. Which one are you, if I may ask?

I can understand why you retreat though. Too many people can be exhausting. Nonetheless, it is interesting  to watch all the different kins. I sometimes visit this cafe for the extraordinary and high-class clientele it has.

Usually I am all over Fiery to work. I also do not really have a home. I am a free spirit you could say.

How about you?

Yours truly,
Rix Kaso

Ruh

Hey Globetrotter!

Wow! Your life sound so interesting. Travelling around and seeing so many things must be nice.  So, have you been to all continents? Which was your favourite place?

And what you mean by more or less normal Mortalia?

Hmm... Yeah i am a frequent customer there. I sometimes come during my lunch-brake to relax a little. As you can imagine, work here can be tiring sometimes.

Do you like it here in Sub-Futurum by the way? I really like the big market in front of the wall, but sadly i can't go there. Still I heard so many nice things about it. One day I definitely gonna see it myself^^

Cheers Ruh

RIX

Dear Ruh

Yes, it is nice to see all kinds of places. You would not believe all the wonders I have seen. I can proudly say, that I have been on all the continents. I have my ways you know. wink

Well, are not all Mortalia just more or less? Everyone is somewhat different and a man just needs some mysteriousness on himself, will you not agree? I mean, you are the same. Carefully avoiding answering my questions about who you are. Not even the race. You also like to be mysterious, right?

Yeah working here can sure be tiring. Are you an employee of all the  nobles here?

And why, if you forgive my forwardness, are you not allowed to visit the market?

Yours truly, Rix

Ruh

Heya Rix^^

Uhhh~ tell me! What was the most stunning thing you've seen?

Sorry that i ask so many questions. I hope you don't mind.

Well I... usually am overseen anyway. There's nothing special about me. Also, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean it on purpose. There is just not so much to talk  about.

Yeah, well you could say, that I am an employee of the nobles here.

For your last question, it's OK. You ask since I asked so many things before. You know, I've never seen the market. My father didn't allow me to leave Sub-Futurum ever. He says it's dangerous. Nothing more than uncivilised people live there and I can be glad to have a home inside the walls.

I am glad. I mean it's clean and a lot of comfort through the technology. It's clean. People live structured and everything is really clean and healthy.

...but when you've never seen anything else?

There's stuff I only heard about. Things I only know from my books and it still feels like I miss out on everything.

Where're you originally from? Where is your home town? What do you do for a living?

Aww~ I'm so sorry, but i am just too curious.

Cheers Ruh

RIX

Good evening!

The most stunning? I think that must be the town of Arbor.

It is a beautiful town, but the Elder-tree there is something else. You might already heard of the huge Elder-tree in Care. The religious city build on and around the tree? Well, the one in Arbor is gigantic. Its roots broke trough the earth and spread over the landscape almost as far as to the sea. The tree is bigger than anything you could imagine. The wall here is like a toy compared to it. The town itself is mostly build under, but also on the trunk. During spring the most beautiful blossoms sprout all around the city.

I do not mind your questions. It is nice to talk to someone now and then.

Ah yes, the comfort here is amazing I must agree. Your father was right. Dangerous it is outside this city, but I doubt the city itself is that safer, just different.

Well, I was born near Care. A very small town. Some might say only a settlement on Asper. Though my heart belongs to Grenze. The mechanics of  the Grande are something else.  Mhm... so if you truly want to know what I do for my living you need to tell me at least what kin you are. Not that I am in any way picky. Just curious. Same as you.

Yours truly,
Rix

Ruh

Oh my goddess! That sounds to good to be true. A tree which is bigger as our walls? I can't imagine this.

Sub-Futurums walls are like the walls of my excisting world. I must feel so microscopic beside this tree. I really wish i could one day see those blossom^^  Who knows?

So your favourite city is Grenze, yeah? I heard it's on Asper as well, right?

Mhm~ I can't really tell about the machines. My father always says they're primitive and dirty. I rarely seen mechanics in Sub-Futurum.

Aren't you afraid of the Grande ? They're so huge and tall and they look so strong!

I love the small park on the south side of Sub-Futurum. Sure it's said, that it's not really necessary and just for aesthetics for the tourists, but I really like it there. Although not during the day when its crowded.  Where you ever there? This small green patch in this ever so clean and whitish and sterile place? I love the flowers there. They're so pretty. Some flowers just bloom at night and during full moon. So beautiful. Sadly they're white as well.

You said it's not much more dangerous outside Sub-Futurum as inside? Just different? But outside are monsters! Creatures of all sorts! Uncivilised masses of people who just destroy the earth and themselves and so many more with no order. Like on Agrestis... I think that was the name where the bandits and outcast live. If the other parts are already dangerous, then that place must be ridiculously dangerous!

Is it true, that you can get infection just by touching things outside? My dad said, there're so many bacteria which can kill you because places and people are so dirty? But how can people survive then? A lot of people come here and I try to look at them from the distant. Some look barbaric, but most just look normal. Of course I made sure not to contact most, just to be save.

I really envy you though. You must be so brave to be a globetrotter. Is it weird that it fascinates me? Although, I should not have so much interest in the outside world and the dangerous things?

And why do you think Sub-Futurum is dangerous?

So you really don't wanna tell me what you do as a living?

Mhm... Maybe it's too personal, I guess. You are a Mortalia... more or less...

Do you have friends? And if yes, are they only Mortalia?

Cheers Ruh

Dear Ruth

That is a lot of questions to answer but I'll try my best.
So I've...
