Azraesr Glossary of Terms

Azraesr- The name of the world containing all these realms and characters. All the realms within this world are referred to as "Azraesr [blank]." Main inhabits are varied feline species. 

Azraesr Weirae- One of the realms within the world of Azraesr. This realm is known for plentiful farmland (wheat is the most common crop) and a large population of small feline species, most of which are bipedal. This is a very large realm and one of the most explored and documented realms. 

Azraesr Dzhultnu- Another Azraesr realm. This realm is smaller in size and thickly wooded in lush jungle. The realm is shrouded in mystery as its inhabitants are very closed off and devoted to their customs. Not much is widely known about them. What is known is that the main species of this realm tend to be quite large in comparison to other realms.

Azraesr Bailencai- Azraesr realm bordering Weirae. This realm is quite a bit smaller than Weirae and is much more urbanized (or as urbanized as Azraesr gets). Most of the realm consists of a city, the single largest city in all of Azraesr. This realm is also the second most populated. The most frequently seen species here are Cadynach, Cariohail, and Symlcaths, though nearly every species comes and goes for various reasons. This realm is the largest hub for record keeping and the study of magic. This is one of the few realms with and overarching ruler, who also controls much of Weirae. 

Azraesr Hifolmsk- Azraesr realm with a very unique environment

Dukigra- A large feline-cervid species native to Dzhultnu. Not much is known about them to other realms except they live mostly in one large tribe somewhere in the jungle. There are those that choose or are forced to live in isolation and those few are often the ones that travel to other realms and share a bit of info without the outside world. However, even these nomads won't share too much about the tribe. The tribe is known as very secretive. Dukigra are largely herbivorous but have been known to prey on some small creations on occasion. 

Cadynach- A small bipedal feline species. They are known as the most populous and widespread feline species in Azraesr. They're so widespread that it's unknown which realm they originated in, though many suspect they started in Weirae. This species is small and not very strong but considered highly intelligent. Most of the species lives as farmers amongst the realms (mostly Weirae) but many of them serve other purposes as well, most notably, record keeping, blacksmithing, building, and for a few, adventuring. They're known as the species of innovation.  

Cariohail- mid-sized feline species closely related to Symlcaths. The main difference is that Cariohails have a larger variety in appearance with color, size, and pattern, tending to look more "unnatural" than Symlcaths. Cariohails are also better versed in magic practices. Though their evolutionary history hasn't been traced, it's rumored that Cariohails are the result of hybridization between multiple feline species over many generations. They originated in Bailencai and pride themselves in their magic. 

Symlcath- simple feline species that closely resembles a housecat. This species originated in Weirae and lives in small communities across various realms, often side by side with Cadynachs. Most of them live as farmers and live quiet lives. They have a limited appearance, ranging from white to tan and brown and in rare cases, black. They can get fairly large but no larger than the average serval (many are quite small though). Known as the most peaceful species. 

Asqallottus- A species of feline quite similar to the Cariohails and the Symlcath only they are known for their large wings and skills in flight (cariohails and symlcath can have wings as well but typically they signify asqallottus blood in their genetics). They have a realm of their own, but it's not very well known. Most of their species work as soldiers in the balencai army or as messengers.

The Old Gods- Series of gods most commonly worshipped. Most of the population with this faith will be found in Weirae. These gods are all referred to by titles, their names being lost over time. There are quite a few of them but the most highly worshipped and revered is the Harvest God. 

Lesnik and Penghutan- The pair of gods worshipped by the dukigra. They are a large pair of dukigra, Lesnik depicted with an unusually large set of antlers and Penghutan blanketed with the white spots of a fawn. Not much is known about them outside the dukigra tribe except that they are always depicted together as a pair and they supposedly have the ability to create more dukigra if the population ever begins to dwindle.
