Elko touched Cambria's half-heart necklace. "You carry her with you everywhere, I'm sure you won't forget."

Cambria turned away, wrapping her lower arms around herself. "But... What if one day I can't remember why I wear it..?"

The silence stretched out between them for a few moments, before Elko finally set a hand on Cambria's shoulder, speaking softly. "Maybe you should start a journal?"

"A journal?" Cambria reached for her necklace out of habit, wondering what her friend was getting at.

Elko smiled faintly. "Yeah, you can write whenever you think of her, anything you can think of. Then you can always go back to it if you forget, and remind yourself again."

Cambria's face lit up. "That's a great idea!" She stood quickly, the tiredness that had weighed her down seeming to vanish. "Hmm, but if I'm gonna write this stuff down I should have a nice notebook to keep it in... I don't have anything like that at home."

Elko stood beside her, grinning again now that her friend seemed to be in better spirits. "Well, we're already out; why don't we go find a really nice one?"

"Right! Let's go!"
