Signal's a bit spotty down here. I haven't been able to check this channel for days, but it looks like it's available again for now. Those berries look sweet, are they edible?

I hope your staying safe wherever you are. These should be edible if i'm identifying them right, they make a great jam! Very sweet indeed, and just a little sour. I used to pick them a lot when I lived back with Mother, they stain your hands if you aren't careful ^^;

Ah, thank you for the concern. I'm doing okay. Went with the chimoraa to their underground city. So far, they've treated us well enough. I hope you'll be careful with the berries, if you decide to pick them. The plant life down here is all so strange, I'll see if I can get some nice pictures for you.

Oh, yes please! I'd love to see what funny plants live down there with that little light. Some mushrooms i'm sure. Is there anything bioluminescent? Perhaps if the going gets rough on the surface i'll find my way underground, if they're still accepting more people.

There are a lot of bioluminescents down here, though. Including the locals. More of the citizens glow than I've seen on the surface, that's for sure.

Wow, that's incredible!! They seem like such interesting folk, if a little secretive. It must feel so different, have you been doing okay without the sun?

It's been alright. Cold, mostly, but it's nothing compared to Terralai.
They're certainly keeping their cards close to the chest. We had to give up an item when we got to the gates as collateral. Nothing valuable, just sentimental to us. I gave them my harpoon gun -- not much use for it down here, and it was a gift anyway.
How are things on the surface? Was the chimoraa prophet's little speech true?

Thats good to hear! The chimoraa's speech has been true so far, at least partially. No visible war yet, but Ichorrai has risen to the sky. Some ancient mechanism was reactivated, and now the entire city has risen from the ground like a pillar. The feral daemons in the area were very disturbed by it at first, but have settled down a bit. I'm glad I wasn't up there when it rose, it's a lot of stairs to get back down.

Oh wow, they have some beautiful stuff!! You'll convince me to come down to study the plant life at this rate Loch!! ^o^
The aegis, specifically Aelius, are apparently testing people to see who may enter the city underneath of Ichorrai. They all seem to be in agreement about raising the city, but i'm not sure if the entire council knew what was happening until we did.
My town is safe so far, we don't have many dangerous feral daemons around and I think we're close enough to Y'noch's tree that we won't see much war if it starts. Many people left for the chimoraa's city too, so they'll be safe, hopefully.

I'd be glad to have you here, if you chose to come. I'm glad to hear their antics haven't affected you too harshly; hopefully, it stays that way.
The plant life here isn't all that's odd. They seem to eat primarily bugs -- grubs and snails and things like that. Not so bad, once you've tried it, but the ale down here is just awful, as far as I've had.
Haven't seen any feral daemon, though. There don't seem to many of them down here at all.

Grubs and snails... certainly odd compared to up here!! I wouldn't be suprised of some of the surface folk tried to make their own ale, if the chimoraa's isn't up to snuff.
Ah, it seems i've stained my hands after all. [attached is an image of Pizazz's hands, stained even darker around their figertips and webs]
I should be off to try and clean them before I stain everything I touch too. It was delightful to hear from you Loch, i'll make sure to try and send word of any more news, and if the rest of my town and I will be making our way down underground!
