Pidge's Delievery Service (Intro)

Pidge carefully adjusted his tie before putting on his uniform jacket  and securing it into place with his belt. His fingers quickly brushed  through his soft hair as he inspected himself in the mirror and tucked  away any loose locks. It would be bothersome if they got into his face  while flying. Once satisfied, he grabbed his hat from its usual spot and  put it on with a sense of pride, his eyes gleaming with joy as he  looked at his reflection.

They put on their boots and clasped the  well-maintained wing harnesses into place. Their large and pink bag was  carefully stuffed with an assortment of love letters that they were  tasked with delivering for the day, and Pidge had no problems bringing  said bag comfortably over their shoulder. They gave the bag one and then  two gentle pats to make sure that everything was in order.

Pidge  grabbed his pink-tinted goggles and placed them over his eyes. He  looked himself up and down one final time in the mirror, hands placed on  both of his hips and gave a satisfied nod of his head. Once he was done  and ready, he turned on his heel to leave, his heart full with the idea  that he would have yet another busy but fulfilling day delivering  letters.

Pidge truly loved his job and was incredibly proud of  it. He enjoyed seeing the way people's faces would light up or blush at  receiving a letter. Their joy was infectious to him. Some of the other  angels and minor gods may look down at him and his occupation, but Pidge  paid them no mind. He knew what he liked, and he liked seeing other  people being happy at the thought and reminder that they were loved and  that there was somebody thinking about them. There was already enough  hatred and negativity around the world. It made him feel like he was  doing good by spreading the love and joy.

"Right then!" Pidge exclaimed, hyping themselves up for the long day ahead. "Time to get to work!"
