The thunder crackled against the dark blue sky as a woman carrying a nearly weightless basket in her arms, as she ran for her life, they had found her, after months of hiding they had managed to track her down outside the village of Konohagakure, the months of careful planning, watching her every move as she only entered the village a few times in order to get essentials for raising the child that was silently being bashed around as she dodged incoming kunai from the man that was the child’s father. She hadn’t know that he was going to kill his own child for being mixed clan if she would of known she wouldn’t of slept with Nara due to being from Inuzuka clan herself.

She didn’t know he was such a proud man, a man who would go to such lengths to make sure his bloodline wasn’t tainted with that of an Inuzuka. If that was the case why did he sleep with her in the first place knowing it could result in a child. She was quickly dragged from her thoughts as a sharp pain ran down her spine, she could feel the crimson liquid start to run down her back it was warmer than the water that had soaked her clothing. She knew she wouldn’t make it, it had been a direct hit, that sank deep into her spine. She quickly scanned the area and found a small opening in the dirt it looked like a small cave tunnel, without hesitation she stuffed the brown basket inside covering it with whatever leaves she could find before the man grew close.

She had no choice, she ran, lettin her legs carry her farther away, she would perish, she knew that, the only thing that mattered was her child surviving. Thankfully because of the strong bloodline she carried from Inuzuka he would be safe or least so she hope, it was natural for her line to tame wolves and dogs alike, and well have the full ability to communicate with them unlike most. At least she tried to give him a fighting chance, however there wasn’t much a six month old child could do.

The morning came slowly, miles away her body had been found by hidden leaf nin, her baby no where to be found, let alone known about, he laid quietly where she had left him not making a sound until hours after she had been brought to the village. As the hours passed he grew hungry, he needed food, he could no longer wait, he begs in to cry, cry so loudly it echoed throughout the empty cave or so it seemed. Before he knew it his eyes meet chocolate brown ones surrounded by fur, the creature pressed its cold black snout against him taking in his scent with its unpleasant surprise it stunk, with a shake of its head it quickly picked the child up by its clothes, taking it off into the woods, screaming its head off was enough to make anyone go crazy let alone the ninken that lived outside the village the dog could no longer stand it, taking the child to a nearby house where an elderly couple had lived for years, that frenquality helped the ninken from time to time as well as the other way around. Thankfully they didn’t live far away from the spot the child had been found, which was more than a relief to the larger ninken that had been carrying him.

~hours later~

“A blessing!” The man cheered he was old, unable to have any children with his wife the white haired man was smiling from ear to ear, his blue eyes casted upon the sleeping child he held within his arms, he was a retired ninja from the village hidden in the leafs as well as his wife, the ninja lives didn’t suit them so they found themselves living outside the gates where no one bothered them for all the years they had been there, sure there was a few passing ninja from time to time where they offered a hot meal, mostly around them were the wild ninken that were no longer bonded to nin that summoned them from either death or no interest at all, as former  ninja they respected the ninken which in return respected them it was a peaceful life living in rather large home, tending to their garden unfortunately they we not able to have a child, they believed one would be achieved when the time was right, they did raise a few ninken themselves but that was really it.

“He truly is what shall we name him dear?” The elderly woman smiles as she rubbed an old claused thumb across the smooth cheek. She knew they were not prepared to take care of a child in their old age, but at the same time there was a reason that the ninken had brought the child to them, then ninken had told the couple what had happened, and well no one knew where they lived besides the few ninjas that had crossed their paths with wasn’t even a handful, he would be safe in their care and the ninken knew it. They thought about taking him to the village however didn’t see it as the safest option given what had happened to his mother.

“Benjiro Ren Fukuda.”
