Something different
Fox stared at her computer. Eyes tired and hands asleep. She was laying in a giant pile of pillows and blankets under her piano. Tired and half asleep she opens scratch and groans at her 128 messages. She usually ignores them but since she has nothing else to do she opens them.
She saw 5 messages from Livi spamming "Broom????!??!?!?" "fISH bROom :gun:" at the top. She sighed.
She clicked reply, and slowly picked up her hand and placed them on the keyboard. She thought for just a moment and typed "link?" before pressing post she paused.
She wondered if it was even worth it to make a zoom and stay up just to listen to Livi rant about dumb crap for 30 minutes. She looked at the time,, 10:40 PM. It wasn't 9 pm their time yet so Avocado might be on that zoom.
Fox deleted her message and retyped "Is it Avocados link?" in less than 10 seconds she replied "YESJOINJOINJOINJOIN". Jesus. So aggressive.
She clicked on the link that she had saved under "Avocados zoom". Waiting, she stared at the black screen that read "The Meeting Host will let you in". A minute later Fox hears the iconic and immensely loud dING doNg. Avocado had her camera on and was showing us her plushies. Livi's camera remained off with her name set as "Renee Rapp".
There was a moment of silence until a loud shout erupted from Fox's computer. "HI FOX BUTTHEAD"
Fox puts her mic really close to her mouth and whispered "hello butthead".
She staired as they continued to do their thing. Starting to zone out Fox put her hand on her head and closed her eyes for just a moment. She opened them and saw only Livi was the only one in the meeting. "Wheres Avo-" She cut herself off as she saw the time. 11:05.
Avocados wifi shut off. Fox slowly opened her mouth and spoke "I'm gonna go I'm tired" Without waiting for a response she shut off her computer.
She got up and laid in her bed cleaning up her pile of pillows. In her bed she stared at the ceiling and soon felt boredom arise in her. She grabbed her notebook and started doodling Toby. She then thought about all of the times people referred to herself as Toby. She felt that everybody see's her as Toby. Fox didn't exactly enjoy that thought. What if she had a new sona? A new OC to represent her. She stared at unfinished Toby sketch and closed the notebook.
She closed her eyes and thought "I'm gonna make something different"
