The Rules
- This nuzlocke format follows all of the standard nuzlocke rules. The only real change is that the Pokemon you can use are dog/otherwise canine Pokemon
- Lists of usable Pokemon for each game will be (eventually) provided
- Due to the limited pool of usable Pokemon, it is likely that you will need to ignore the "one encounter per route" rule and instead use another system for limiting new encounters.
- Lists of usable Pokemon for each game will be (eventually) provided
- The actual nuzlocke will start once you are able to get your first dog Pokemon. If your starter is a dog Pokemon (in the case of randomizers or Fennekin/Eevee) then the nuzlocke will start automatically.
- While this isn't a hardfast rule, it is preferred that your Pokemons' nicknames fall under stereotypical dog names like Spot, Rover, Bub, etc
