Fallen Leaf's Life
Autumn leaves and a golden sky, Perfect weather for lost dreams to die. Hope is scarce and friends are few, Yet where others doubt, he knows what's true.
Euros' home, a place once so dear, He wanders the lands but it all began here, Where a lost family left nothing behind, But an empty heart and a forgotten time.
Yet forget is something he will not do, Even as he embraces all that is new. The pain of his loss will never fade, As nostalgia hits beneath the falling leaves shade.
Leaves of green will brown in time, As the life they've known is left behind. Their beauty ignored in their last day of life, For all we see is a falling leaf's strife.
And though he knows that soon they will fall, And that each ones impact was incredibly small, He still smiles softly as leaves fill the sky, For he knows each one now has its chance to fly.
With this though lingering in the depths of his mind, He can finally leave what's past far behind. He can learn to live another day, And laugh, and love his life in a brand new way.
Because to live a life fulfilled and long, You must live like a leaf in it's final song. And while you cannot forget all that has past, Don't let it stop you. Make your life last.
