It was one of those days, one of those surprisingly pleasant winter days that came around near the beginning of spring. The sun was warm and pleasant against his skin, a gentle breeze playing with his fur and the sweet call of birds chirping in the trees around his cottage, Seer gave a sated sigh as he swayed back and forth in his hammock, waiting for his tofu to finish baking in the oven. With every motion of the hammock his glass bauble clinked against the pole that held the hammock aloft, and everything was just generally wonderful. He had gotten back from a rather sweet dream last night of a crab that lived by the sea (there was a lot of sand) and took his fair share of dream energy, so Seer was rather full and quite happy.

Of course nothing perfect lasts forever, and he squeezed his eyes shut when he heard the telltale "SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER," calling from the distance, and tried to grasp the last vestiges of his peaceful afternoon, which was gradually slipping away as a familiar white and teal Orin barreled up towards his cottage.

"Alright, here we go again," he muttered to his spider, who was cozily tucked in between his chin and his neck, who gave a sleepy nod. Cracking an eye open, Seer managed to catch a glance of Primi just in time as they ran head first into the pole, shaking the entire hammock and dumping Seer rather unceremoniously onto the ground. The spider gave a few angry clacks at Primi, menacingly clicking their fangs but they ignored the arachnid and flipped them away with a light gust from their wings.

Shaking the dirt out of his fur, Seer stood up with a sigh, realizing his poor spider was no longer in sight. "That wasn't very nice, you must've scared him off," he commented but Primi just made a face in response.

"Hrmph!! I'm not here for the spider, I'm here for you!! I got news from Lulu who got news from Gura who got news from Kevin who got news from Ingo that there's a very interesting rainbow that's appeared!!" he said expectantly, giving Seer a look. Seer's brain clicked at the name of the feline-resembling shopkeeper but simply cocked a brow at Primi, who then rolled their eyes. "Aaaand of course I'm going to take you to see it because when was the last time something this exciting happened?! You never leave your little hut-"

"You say that every time you want me to go out."

"-come on!! And apparently there's treasure," said Primi, getting more and more excited. Seer looked at Primi, then back at his cottage with a hum.

"Hmmm, I have tofu in the oven right now and I wasn't planning on going anywhere this afternoon so-"

"Also I heard that Soraka's going to be there," inputted Primi, waggling his eyebrows. Seer paused, then perked up

"Actually, you know what, I'm sure the tofu can cook a little bit longer. What are you waiting for?? Let's go!!" he demanded. Primi simply let out a chuckle and raced down the path, letting Seer follow close behind him.

Along the way, the two bumped into a friendly brown and blue Orin who had been heading along the same way as them. Seer waved a hoof at them, "Oh hey, Blu!! You're heading to see the rainbow as well?" he asked, and Blu sheepishly chuckled.

"Yeah I am, it's become a pretty big deal eh?" and from behind her back she produced a small wicker picnic basket, with a few baked treats straining their way against the lid. "I was planning on having a little picnic while admiring the rainbow, would you like to come along?" Glancing at each other, Primi and Seer both nodded and the three cheerfully continued on their way.

When they arrived, Seer peered at the crowd milling around the base of the rainbow. Everyone was gathered near or on top of these gleaming piles of gold and gems that littered there way across the flowery meadow, dotting the scenery with the shining specks of yellow that melded together beautifully with the soft green of the grass, and the separate shades of each flower. The rainbow itself was magnificently huge, stemming out of the largest of the gold piles, each separate hue a deep rich color that was a stark contrast against the light blue sky.

"This is a lot more Orins than I thought," he commented, snacking on one of Blu's dried-fruit mix biscuits. Primi fluttered their wings eagerly.

"Would you look at that!! It's massive!! Isn't it so beautiful??" they asked dreamily, but Seer didn't reply, glancing around for Soraka, but couldn't seem to see her. However he did see Kevin and Pibs standing besides one of the large piles of gold that spread across the grassy meadow, and headed over.

"Pibs!! Kevin!!" he said cheerfully, and the tiny Orin chirped in response. Perched on top of Kevin's back, Pibs was decked out in a smashingly handsome green bowtie that matched the color of Kevin's current sweater. Kevin smiled and nodded in response,

"It certainly is something, isn't it? Pibs wanted to go see it so here we are," he said, and Pibs eagerly leaned forward to hand Seer a tie, but ended up tumbling down Kevin's back instead. "Oops!! Come on little guy-" he said, motioning to pick the dwarf Orin back up but instead Pibs suddenly darted away, and started clamoring up the pile of gold. Kevin watched Pibs go up and then frowned when he saw a certain small white and blue Orin on top. "Oh it's just Pigeon," he said with an exasperated sigh, "Pibs is a huge fan of him but I'm pretty sure he convinced my brother to eat my favorite sweater the other day," he said, sounding a bit miffed, and began to follow Pibs. Seer, noticing Soraka was also at the top of the mound, and motioned at Primi and Blu to follow.

The gold slipped under his hooves whenever he tried to move forward, but eventually Seer made it to the top, and Primi fluttered down beside him, having decided to fly up instead. His eyes drifted to the small congregation of Orins that stood before him, with Soraka and Cielo on one side, Pigeon Ingo and Morax on the other, eagerly shoveling gold into burlap sacks. Primi's lip curled at the sight of the brown Orin, "Still money-hogging as always I see," they said, "have you no shame?" before Seer elbowed him with a be nice look. Morax paused for a moment at the sound of Primi's voice, before Soraka's voice caused him to turn his head.

"You can't just take this gold!! It's not yours!!" she argued, and Cielo nodded behind her in agreement, apparently fueled on by whatever argument she was making. Ingo simply made a face and scooped up another handful of gold in his claws.

"Well it's not yours either!! It's just sitting out here... free for any Orin to take," he said casually, depositing the shining pieces with a clink into his bag. "And doesn't matter if I would perhaps sell it back to Orins later... for some wonderful wonderful dream shards." Seeing the furry Orin loading up on the gold again, Morax resumed his actions, picking up a sparkling ruby. Pigeon squealed in excitement as he put more jewels into his bag almost twice his size.

"Gold!!!! GOLD!!!!! GOLD ALL FOR ME!!!!" they cackled, and Pibs loitered off to the side with an interested gleam in his eyes. Seer shot Pigeon a concerned glance and picked up a blue gemstone from the top of his bag.

"... right. And why do you need all this stuff anyway?" he asked, and Pigeon stopped to wave their arms at Seer.

"Realm domination," they grunted, and jumped up trying to grab at the gem. Seer simply held it over the tiny Orins head and cocked his head.

"Realm domination, huh?" he said amused, "isn't that adorable. Don't you need parental supervision to do that?" he said teasingly, and Pigeon picked up a gold coin and threw it at his head, which didn't do much damage from an Orin so small.

"Give. Me. My. SHINY!!" they demanded, before leaping up with a surprising amount of might and shoving into Seer. Seer let out a oof as he fell backward, tumbling through the rainbow and feeling a strange tingling sensation pass through his body. The gem slipped out of his hoof and rolled down the hill, as Pigeon let out a frantic sound and stepped on Seer to reach the gem, when as he too stepped through the rainbow a bright flash of light hit all of the Orins, before a blanket of darkness settled around them.

When Seer came too, everything felt a bit... off. There was an unpleasant twinge near his hips and all his eyes were closed, but he forced himself to crack them open to pull himself up. When he finally got up, everything was still dark and he could hear Primi muttering... something beside him. He raised a hoof to rub over his face as the pain in his two legs he stood on started to ebb away.

Wait what?

As the world started to come into focus, Seer blinked and looked down. What in the world...? he thought to himself as he looked around for his friends.

Primi was splayed on the ground right beside him, white hair disheveled around his head. Stepping over to Primi he tapped the other Orin on the shoulder as he mused over what was going on. When Primi finally came to, they gave a few blinks before rolling over and looking at Seer.

"I whuz- I- I feel weird," they said, picking themselves up as Seer frowned at his own two hooves.

"You could say that again," he replied, patting down his strange limbs. when it hit him. "We're like humans!!" Seer voiced out loud, and Primi smoothed their hair over with a hoof.

"This is... certainly now the most ideal situation," they said, now looking around with Seer. Seer snorted, but then saw Blu a few feet off and motioned for Primi to follow. Blu, arm through her picnic basket was busy scooping her treats off of the soft, plush grass.

"How rude!" she said primly once everything was back into the basket and in place, and Seer picked up a stray cookie from the ground.

"Are you sure these are still clean enough to eat?" he said dubiously, eying the sweet treat. Blu simply picked it up out of his hand and deposited it back into the basket.

"Well of course, a little dirt won't hurt. And besides, it's not like we can get sick anyway, Pibs eats stuff he shouldn't be eating all the time," she said, as the smaller brown Orin caught her eye. It appeared that the dwarf had landed up in a bush and was now stuck, and Blue gracefully plucked Pibs out of the leaves like one would pick a fruit. Pibs cheerfully burbled something and buried themselves into Blu's thick, plentiful ruff as Blu straightened his bowtie which had gone a bit wonky in the fall, "Oooh, aren't you just precious!" she said, as Pibs happily nestled himself in snuggly. Primi shook his head.

"So, is that all of us?" he said, before a loud dragging noise could be heard, as if someone was pulling a long a bag of something heavy. Primi let out a groan and closed his eyes. "Oh no."

Pushing away some of the foliage, out behind the bush came Morax into the clearing, with a few leaves stuck inside his ponytail, with Pigeon riding on top of his large burlap bag which he dragged behind him. "Heh heh... hey folks," he said shyly and Primi rolled his eyes. "Look!! I have two hands now... now I can actually hold bags of gold like I'm meant to because how does an Orin even do things on all four legs-" Seer waved a hoof?? Arm?? and shut him up.

"Morax, are you really going to lug all that gold around?? And Pigeon... you little-" Seer marched forward and prodded the toddler sized Orin in the chest, and they let out a squeal and tumbled off Morax's loot. "You're the one who pushed me into that rainbow!! And then we all got sucked into this weird dimension!! It's all your fault!! And now my tofu is going to burn!!" he moped. Pibs made a noise from between Blu's arms, who was now holding them like one might a baby, and basket looped around her other arm. It sounded disapproving, and Blu just cooed.

"Awwwww Seer don't be mad, I'm sure you can always make some more tofu. And look at him!! He's just a little baby!!" she said, motioning at Pigeon, who batted his eyelashes. Seer gave a disgruntled grunt and looked up to the sky, which was an interesting mix of colors of clashing oranges and blues, purples and yellows. His brain ached just looking at it and he quickly looked away.

"Hmph, whatever. Do you guys even know where we are?? And the more important question how do we get back?" he asked, waving his arm around. Morax gave a sigh as Primi shuffled a bit closer to Seer as Morax opened his mouth.

"I mean- I'm assuming the rainbow acted as a portal of sorts so now we just... find another portal to get back," and Seer flicked his ears back at that.

"Sounds easy enough," mused Blu, who had now picked Pigeon up and was now rocking both of the small Orins back and forth, "but what in the world would that portal back be?"

Glancing around Seer's other eyes caught a flash strange black-and-white against the colorful sky. He pointed a hoof, "how about that?" he suggested, and the group turned to look at the monochromatic rainbow that made it's way up and across the sky. It looked pretty far, but perhaps with two or three days of traveling they'd reach it. Primi perked up.

"Yeah!! That seems perfect, I mean we came in through a rainbow so maybe we'll exit through the rainbow!!" they said, "I'll fly up and see what's up ahead," he suggested, and without further comment jumped up into the sky with a flapping motion of his wings. Seer and the others watched with mild amusement as Primi made possibly a few feet up into the air, before crashing back down. "Oww..." they said, rubbing at their side as Seer walked over to help them out.

"Hmmm... I guess all this new... anatomy means you'll be grounded like the rest of us," he said cheerfully as he extended an arm to pull them up. Inside, he was grateful that his friend would be staying down on the ground, who knew what was out there in this strange world. Primi sighed and shook his wings out.

"Aww man, alright. Well, I guess there's no need to wait any longer, let's get moving!"

As the gang made their way across the forest terrain, the sun had also began to set and up came a strange luminous green glowing moon. As Seer looked up to the now muted sky, his gaze was jerked back down to the ground when there was a sudden rustling noise from behind him. He paused, and turned around slightly.

"Did anybody hear that?" he asked the other Orins, who all gave each other a few confused glances, but shook their heads in a no. Seer frowned. "I could've sworn I heard something..." he muttered, but Morax offered him a pat on the shoulder instead.

"Maybe you're just tired, we all are-" "You'd probably be less tired if you stopped dragging that stupid bag of gold around-" (Primi) "- and we've been walking for a while now, what say we make camp and stop for the night?? The kids are practically asleep as well," he finished, motioning to Blu who held the two dwarf Orins close to her chest. Piigeon let out a small snort and something that sounded along the lines of "I'm not a kid I'm a baby," but it was muffled by the fact his face was buried into the female Orins arm. Blue and Primi nodded in agreement, and they made a unanimous decision to pause for the night.

Rolling up some soft grass to form a pillow, Blu cracked open their basket to offer all the Orins some food, which Seer graciously took. Scarfing down the blueberry muffin he watched as Pibs run towards the basket, and devour the plaid napkin that laid inside instead. ... I'm sure I'll have time to decipher that later.

Suddenly, Seer's head whirled around as he heard another rustling noise from the bushes. He paused, ears flicked forward alert and looked at the rest of the Orins. "... are you sure you guys didn't hear that?" he asked. Morax, who seemed on planning on using his bag of gold as a pillow paused and stood up.

"You know what Seer, I'll go with you and check to see if anything's out there. Can't be too safe," he said, and Seer looked at Primi who waved him off with a hoof. Nodding, Seer led Morax toward the area where he had heard the noise, and snapped a branch off of a tree, holding it in front of him as he marched forward. Morax followed close behind, pushing the leaves away.

It was a strange, haunting quiet as even though earlier there was the sound of owl-song and other natural creatures of the forest, nothing stirred now. The hair on Seer's neck pricked up, and even Morax seemed to sense something was wrong as he drew closer to the other Orin. A light breeze suddenly picked up and the collar of Morax's shirt moved slightly in the wind. Whirling around, Seer tensed up his arm as he prepared to fling his stick at whatever terrifying creature that lurked in the dark-

-but relaxed when he saw the telltale glowing yellow stars of Cielo. Untensing, he waved an arm at Morax. "Oh, nevermind... it's just Cielo. What are you doing all the way out here?" he asked, dropping his stick to his side. Cielo gave an awkward chuckle and from behind him walked Soraka, who waved at Seer, her long hair gently flowing around her shoulders.

"We uh- we were standing besides you guys when Pigeon jumped us through that rainbow... and we landed near this weird pond. I caught sight of you but we didn't know whether to approach you incase you were some scary predator," said Cielo, looking around nervously. Seer shook his head.

"Oh I see, thank goodness. You had me spooked a little back there, come on, we set up camp over here and Blu brought some snacks. I'm sure you two must be hungry," and the four Orins walked together back to the clearing, where it appeared Primi had set up a small fire, albeit at the cost of singing a few of his feathers. He straightened when he saw them approach.

"Oh hey, Soraka, Cielo!! Blu has some food over there if you want," he said, waving a hoof in Blu's general direction. They thanked him and moved over to a sleepy Blu who lazily moved a slumped over Pigeon from the top of the picnic basket, and handed out some more food.

"They're dream energy infused," they explained in a half-awake voice, "so you'll get your energy up if you eat them, we have maybe enough to last us another day... with these new Orins... zzzz..." Seer gave a quiet chuckle and sat down, leaning back on his pile of grass. Soraka saw him, and headed over, sitting down beside him. Seer flushed a bit and played with a leaf between his two hooves.

"So... it's certainly been a day huh?" he asked. Soraka smiled at him, faintly glowing in the dark.

"Mmhmm," she said softly, "how are you holding up?" she asked. Seer frowned.

"What are you talking about? I'm doing absolutely fine," he said, but Soraka rolled her eyes.

"I can tell something's been bothering you, are you alright?" she asked, and Seer sighed.

"Actually, yeah. I've had this headache all day... guess it came from the sudden wacky change and my eyes have had all these new things and positions to adjust to," he said, and Soraka gave him a pat on the arm.

"Well- while Cielo and I were walking I found some of these herbs... from what I can tell they're the same as the ones we have back in the Realm, and they help alleviate headache," she said shyly. Seer felt his ears fold back, flustered.

"Oh- I- erhm-" he began, and Soraka turned away, her wings fluttering a bit.

"I mean, of course you don't need to take them, they're just here if you would like-" she began, but Seer cut her off with a smile.

"Of course I'll take them... that was really thoughtful of you Soraka. Thank you so much," he said, taking the soft flowers from her hand and popping them in his mouth, the abstract sweet flavor bursting in his mouth with every chew. Soraka smiled back at him and suddenly Seer felt himself warm up underneath his fur, quickly lying down and turning away so Soraka wouldn't see the faint blush that spread across his face.

"Well!! Good night then... we have a lot of walking to do tomorrow," he said with a cough, and closed his eyes, hearing a goodnight and drifted off to a night of sleep against the cool earth and grass.

The next day, everyone had awoken bright and early, with the sun just barely peaking out over the horizon. There was a fresh layer of morning dew against the greenery and fur, and Seer awoke pleasantly with no headache in sight. Whatever Soraka had given to him must've worked, he mused to himself as he shook the small droplets of water out of his fur. Peering around he looked for Primi and Pibs, and saw them a little ways off from the clearing, where Primi was wringing out Pibs yarn ball while he gave a disgruntled look at his wet bowtie. Primi bounded over to Seer when he was finished, shaking the wetness out of his wings a little.

"Apparently yarn absorbs water really well... poor little dude. Ready for another day of adventure?" they asked, chipper, and Seer heard a faint heck yeah! in reply from Cielo. He just grinned and clapped his hooves together to gather everyone, and slowly the Orins trickled into a circle.

"Alright, so we're a lot closer to the rainbow than we thought... we should be there before tonight!! Everyone eat up with a hearty breakfast from Blu... we'll be home before you know it," he said, not daring to think about the other possibility. the possibility that the rainbow wasn't a portal, and that they would be stuck here forever. He shuddered, mentally shaking off those bad thoughts and watched as Blu handed out a few muffins while Pibs sat in their lap and flicked berries out of her fur.

The majority of the morning passed by uneventfully, with a lot of tiring walking, but the path was shaded by the trees and the sun wasn't harsh so nobody complained. Seer watched from the side of his eye Cielo carrying Pigeon in the now empty picnic basket, who had quickly started complaining about walking in the first thirty minutes and demanded to be carried. Cielo had been happy to do so, and it seemed like everyone was happily cared for, with Pibs bouncing in front of the group and Soraka making sure everyone was together in the back.

Well. Almost everyone.

From beside him he saw Primi, occasionally shooting a glare at Morax who was trying his very best to carry his gold in peace, despite the protests of the other Orins. As Seer thought of a way to possibly to get the two to get along, Blu came to an abrupt stop in front of him, causing Cielo to bump into her, which in return caused Pigeon to splat out of the basket. The small blue Orin made a noise of protest but Seer glanced at Blu. "What's up?" he asked, curious.  Blu's ears flicked forward, and Seer strained to hear whatever they were listening to.

"Running water!! There's a river up ahead," and now that Blu mentioned it, he could hear the rushing sound of air and water. Seer internally groaned, knowing it would be such a pain to cross. How does one even swim on two legs??

And sure enough just a few minutes later the group came upon a large, massive running river. It stretched at least ten feet wide, if not more, and the whole thing was a froth of tumultuous blue and white. From behind, he saw Pibs eyes boggle, "PIBS!!" they stated, and Seer pretended to nod along.

"Pibs... yes... how are we going to get across this?" he asked. Primi frowned and shook his wings out a little, giving his white feathers a dubious look.

"I suppose... I could try flying over?" they said tentatively, but Seer piped up,

"I wouldn't risk it. We don't know if you're good enough to fly yet, and if you fall into the river that could be dangerous."

As they discussed, the Orins walked alongside the bank until Soraka waved for them to come over. "Hey guys!! Look over here... looks like the water's shallower and a lot calmer. We can just try swimming over here... it looks like our best option," she said, and after a few more moments of discussion, they agreed. Seer slowly dipped a hoof into the water, and thankfully realized it wasn't too cold. He turned around,

"So... let's just paddle over to the other side. How hard can swimming be?" he asked, and Cielo gave a nervous glance down at Pigeon.

"Sure thing... swimming on two legs. Fantastic," he muttered, but was distracted by Pibs who was tugging on his leg. Cielo peered down at the small Orin, who chirped something. He glanced at Seer and Primi, who shrugged.

"I dunno... I think he's trying to say something," said Morax, and Pibs nodded vigorously.

"Pibs!!! Pibs pibs pibs pibs!!" they exclaimed, and Seer raised a brow.

"Do you not know how to swim?? Is that it?? If that's the case it's fine, we can just carry you over," he offered, but Pibs gave a frustrated shake of his head.

"Pibs!!! PIBS. PIBS PIBS PIBS!!!" he said, more insistently this time. Primi scratched at his head,

"Where's Kevin when you need him?" they muttered, and Pibs rolled his eyes. Seer turned to the river and took a breath, deciding to ignore whatever the brown Orin had to say, as they would deal with it when they crossed.

One by one, the Orins slipped into the water and Seer watched with satisfaction as they successfully made it to the other side, However, when it was just Morax and Seer left Morax gave Seer a weak smile. "You know... maybe we don't have to cross here?? We can walk over, on dry land instead?" he offered, and Seer blinked at the other Orin.

"What?? Come on Morax, we're so close!! It's just a little bit of water, there's nothing to be afraid of," he gently coaxed. Morax swallowed.

"Ye-es but my wonderful shirt will get ruined..." they brought up again, and Seer rolled his eyes.

"Don't worry, we can just dry it out when we get back. Come on Morax, let's go!" he said, getting impatient. Seer watched as Morax shifted his eyes down... down... down towards his bag of gold. He choked. "Morax you can't take that into the river!! You'll sink like a stone!!" he argued, and Morax winced.

"But... my gold..." he said mournfully. Seer sighed, and no longer taking any time to put up with this, jumped into the water. "Wait!! Where are you going?!" called Morax. Seer turned around, half submerged in the water.

"I'm crossing, if you want to stay here with your gold be my guest. Bye bye!!" he called cheerfully, and made his way across. It wasn't very pleasant of course, as water tended to weigh down on the fur and he felt the current tug at him with each stroke, combined with all the water getting into his eyes that made him wince, but eventually got to the other side where Blu and Cielo pulled him out. The Orins watched with amusement as Morax eventually dipped into the water, trying to carry the gold over his head but let out a squawk as he submerged, and the bag slipped out of his grasp. He did eventually make it to the other side, completely soaked and looking like a drowned rat. Seer gave him a sympathetic pat on the shoulder.

"I'm sure when we get back there will be more gold for you to take," he reassured, as he looked at the sopping wet group. One... two... three... four... "Wait a minute where's Pibs??" realizing the small Orin was missing. Pigeon glanced around and looked up at Seer with a shrug. Oh rats, he cursed, he must've somehow missed the smaller Orin when the group was crossing the river. Starting to get a bit frantic, he searched around when suddenly off from the side the smaller Orin came bounding through, completely dry.

"Pibs!!" they called, sounding quite smug. Seer boggled at the Orin, who leaned over and patted him on the leg. A look of realization came over Soraka, who motioned down the stream.

"Look- over there, there's a bridge. So that's what you were trying to tell us, oops sorry Pibs," she said sheepishly, and Morax gave a groan.

"My gold!!" he cried, and Cielo gave a small chuckle at his anguish.

"Very well then... let's just keep on moving!! I think I can see the rainbow up ahead," said Cielo, and the wet Orinsd (except for one) continued forward.

And true to his word, there in front of them was a large, black and white rainbow with greys replacing where the colors should've been. They marveled at the oddity for a few moments, before Primi stepped forward.

"Well... I guess this is it. Anybody want to go first?" he asked, and they all looked at each other, until a disgruntled Morax stepped up.

"I vote Pigeon should go first... he's the one that pushed Seer through the rainbow and got us here in the first place!!" he called, and quieter muttered, "and oh... he made me lose my poor gold... my precious." Seer rolled his eyes at Morax's antics and Pigeon gave him a wounded look.

"But- but- I'm just a baby!!" they announced, "I don't wanna go through the-" Pigeon was quickly cutoff as Morax moved forward, and before Seer could catch him and tell him to stop, pushing Pigeon through the rainbow. As Pigeon fell through, they grabbed for Morax and the two Orins fell down, Seer watching them disappear right before their eyes. Eyebrows raised, Primi stepped forward.

"Well... we know it works now. See you on the other side folks!!" they said, before eagerly jumping through the light. And one by one, Seer watched as the Orins stepped through the rainbow to the other side. To home. Finally, it was just him and Pibs. Glancing at the smaller Orin, Seer scooped them up into his arms.

"Well Pibs, time to go home now. Away we go!!" and stepped into the light.

When Seer stepped through, everything suddenly went blank for a moment, and he honestly didn't remember much about going through the portal itself, but as his eyes fluttered open he looked up at the concerned face of Primi above him. Water dripped down through their white hair, and Seer realized that he was back on his four legs again.

Rolling over and standing up, he caught a glimpse of Pibs bounding and leaping toward Kevin, who greeted him with open arms. The sweater-clad Orin approached Seer, and he gladly saw that everyone was back in one piece.

"Seer!! Thank you so much for returning this little dude to me... I was really starting to get worried. Glad you all made it back as well!! Sounds like Pibs has quite the story to tell," they said with a wink, and whisked Pibs away. Seer blinked and looked down at the solid ground beneath his legs and gave a relieved sigh.

"That was... something else," he said with a yawn. "I am so glad to be back," he muttered, wearily rubbing at his eyes. Now that he thought about it, he was cold. And tired. And craving tofu. Primi nudged him with his wing.

"Well, may-be that didn't go the way I planned," they confessed, "but come on, you gotta admit that was fun!! Let's go back to your cottage and freshen up... I might as well take a nap..." he said, and Seer smiled. The two walked back towards the cottage, Seer waving goodbye to Soraka and they continued through the forest to the quaint little cottage, and as the approached Seer's eyes which had been gradually starting to close, flew open when he was flagged down by his spider, standing outside.

"Hey?? What are you-" and he paused, sniffing the air, which had a distinct smell of something burning... "MY TOFU!!!"
