ANDREJA

Andreja is the older daughter of John and Carrie, and the older sister of Peter. Her mom was an artist and her dad was the owner of what was then a small shop with various more or less useful items. Her dad though had big plans for his store. It soon became a chain of stores in atlds, and the young family became noticeably more wealthy. By the time Peter was born, a few years after Andreja, the family was pretty well off. They couldn’t compare to the rich families of the Rich Area, but the kids were well taken care of and were never missing a thing. However, the parents never wanted to spoil their kids; they let them know that all they have is a result of hard work, and raised their kids to work for everything they wanted. While John taught them to be hard working and responsible, Carrie encouraged their creativity. Both kids enjoyed the creative time they could spend with their mom, and they both seemed to be quite creative as she was.

Soon Andreja started going to school. She was curious and smart and did pretty well on all her subjects. Her time revolved around doing school work and projects, and the free time she had she spent with her family. She got along with kids in her class pretty well, especially when they needed her help with school work, but was generally more of a loner and never sought out their company outside of school. She enjoyed her own time, working on her own stuff.
When she started high school she became old enough to start working with her dad in his company, Peep’Hole inc. She started by doing tasks that many would find boring and tedious, but she actually quite enjoyed organizing documents and computer files, and keeping track of her dad’s business meetings. She organized the whole company in a new more convenient way that is still in use to this day. But when she wasn’t working for her dad, she still went to school. She still tried her very best at every subject, but started taking more interest in web design. It was a subject that let her take advantage of her logic, organization and creativity. With this knowledge, she helped John set up an online store for their business, and took full charge of it. In addition to the online store, she would also take occasional calls from the customers which were, more often than not, agents trying to get their hands on the peep hole that the company sold.

Life for Andreja continued like this for a while. She would do a good job at work, and enjoy her own hobbies at home. When she finished high school, she moved out to her own place, where she could enjoy her independence even more. But this didn’t last too long. Her brother Peter was showing signs of a type of a neurological disorder for some time now. No one is quite sure why, but the doctors said he lost one of his inner fairies, and no one could tell what the consequences of that might be. Peter always was a bit quirky and scatterbrained, always more interested in having fun than serious work, but things started going downhill pretty hard now. He Started getting more forgetful, talking to someone who wasn’t there and couldn’t stay focused on any work. Eventually he dropped out of high school and decided to move in with Andreja.
Now Andreja, who just got to fully get used to her new freedom got suddenly stuck with her mntally ill brother. She would complain to their parents, but they told her that Peter insisted on moving in with her. Though they were complete opposites, Peter loved being around Andreja, and she cared deeply for him too. She wasn’t gonna leave his brother on his own when he needed her the most, so she soon gave in and welcomed him in her home. Things were different now than they were when they were younger. They were older and on their own. Andreja was the only one responsible for Peter who would often go out to parties and spend numerous nights at god knows who's guy’s place. Andreja spent many nights worried about her brother and tried to make sure he would always take his meds. He started taking special interest in fairies, claiming he wants to become one, and trying to get romantically involved with them. Andreja was never sure how much truth there was to this, though he did bring home a fairy once or twice, among other random men. Andreja didn’t know if this was better than Peter spending nights away from home, with her not knowing where he was.

Through all this, she still did her best to stay in charge of all of her own responsibilities as well; working, taking care of home, taking additional classes, and still taking enough time just for herself. She prayed to Glitter God, often lamenting how hard it is for her to take care of her brother all on her own. And maybe it was this that led to Peter soon bringing home another guy, Jure. He was here to stay, said Peter. Andreja wasn’t too happy about Peter just moving in this random guy they both barely met, but Jure didn’t seem to have anywhere else to go. Jure was a kind and loving guy, genuinely concerned about Peter’s wellbeing, just as Andreja was. When she got to know him better, Andreja had to admit that Jure being around took a lot of pressure from her. And now that Jure lived with them, Peter had less reason to go out every night. Things seemed to have calmed down for a while, and Andreja was able to put more focus on her work at the company, as well as starting her very own freelance web designing business, just to make some extra money on the side.
But again, things didn’t stay good for long. Peter grew restless again, disappearing for nights leaving both Andreja and Jure worried for him. It was only the matter of time when he would bring another guy to their home and get caught cheating by Jure. Kind and mild mannered Jure always looked for good in people and decided to forgive Peter. He forgave him once, twice, maybe even three times, but inevitably got fed up with Peter. Heartbroken he left, and left Andreja alone with Peter again. It wasn’t easy getting used to being alone taking care of Peter again, but he seemed to have changed a bit. Though he would still go out and get involved with men, he seemed to have calmed down a bit. He would withdraw from other people somewhat, spending more time focusing on his creative projects. This was a relief for Andreja, who has grown weary building her whole life around taking care of Peter. She never sought out to find a lover or a BFF of her own, and she was content with that, but still wondered if her and Peter’s small family would ever grow beyond just the two of them.

But she didn’t need to wait long to have this question answered. After some months have passed, Jure came back into their lives. He had someone he wanted them to meet, he said. It was no other than Mr. Mole with the last name Mole, the start of the show Andreja and Peter both loved to watch. Except now, he was a woman names Scarlett. Andreja was excited to meet her, but not as much as Peter who always thought Mr. Mole would become a woman, and then they would make a movie together. Now this time finally seemed to have come. Peter and Scarlett both loved parties, and Scarlett loved the idea of Peter’s movie he had planned; they quickly grew close and became BFFs. Besides this new addition to the family, they all gre closer with Jure’s family, led by Andrej. They were a bigger and wealthier family, and being a smart businesswoman, Andreja knew having a family like this close would be beneficial for them. Andreja always thought Andrej was too goofy and not serious enough to lead a family, but had to admit that he was doing a good job at it nevertheless. He was smart and resourceful, and had a strong family behind him. After giving it some thought, and their families growing closer together, Andreja decideded to form an alliance between the two families. Andreja and Peter moved to Central Area to live with the rest of Andrej’s family. Andreja still never found anyone she could feel close enough to marry, but having joined Andrej’s family provided more security to her own small family.
As of late, year later after all these events Andrej got himself a girlfriend Jade. Andreja started spending more time with her and they seem to be getting along quite well. Without a BFF of her own, could Jade become Andreja’s BFF, finally officially joining both families into one?
