"They all appreciated what you did for them very much. Some of them got very attached to you and would like to start a new colony, if you'd be willing to host them."

Omega was grinning as he spoke, more relaxed than Alpha had seen him in months. He looked at the five tiny faces smiling at him from Omega's hand, and found himself smiling back. "Aw, I didn't do anything special though. I'm sure if anyone else had found them before I did, they would've done the same."

Omega shrugged slightly. "A little kindness goes a long way with these guys. Besides," he rubbed the back of his neck a little, sheepishly, "The colony is getting pretty crowded, it's about time some of them ventured out to start a new one."

Five tiny pairs of eyelights watched him eagerly, filled with hope and excitement. He couldn't say no to such a request. "Alright, I'll do it."

Omega extended his hand, and Alpha reached up to meet it with both of his. Suddenly, he wished he'd worn his gloves today so they'd have more space to stand. Regardless, his hands were now full of five tiny skeletons. ...No, six. He hadn't noticed the even tinier skeleton that one of them was holding, no bigger than his tiniest phalange. He stared down at them for a moment, completely at a loss for what to do next, until Omega leaned forward and put both hands on the desk, giving him a mock stern look. "Now then, you have to find a good pocket for them to set up their space. Something that you wear often; they can move the entrance but it's a lot of effort. It helps if it's something that you don't wash too often, either."

Alpha nodded, quickly running through options in his head. "Uh, I suppose I could have a pocket added to this vest? Would that be alright?"

Omega scrutinized his chosen garment for a moment, then nodded. "It'll do, but go take care of it right away. They shouldn't be outside their pocket dimension for too long, especially not with that newborn."

Alpha went to stand, then paused, suddenly afraid to walk while holding the tiny skeletons. A moment later he shuffled them onto a single hand, using the other to grab the phone off the desk beside him.

"Hey, it's Alpha. Could you send someone up here with a sewing kit? It's uh... Not an emergency, but it is kind of urgent..."
