It was an ordinary day. Or at least, it was supposed to be. The sounds of the morning were interrupted by a loud siren. The Sugar Foxes howled and yapped in response. Declan sighed. He patted Velvet’s head, then turned on the TV.
“An explosion of magic at the bakery…? That doesn’t sound good.” He started taping up the windows, trying to keep the magic at bay.
Outside…
Some people, walking their Sugar Foxes, saw the pink-tinged smoke. As the pink sparkles settled downward, the people started to change. As their hands became paws, they dropped the leashes. Where the humans once stood, two new Sugar Foxes appeared!
All over the town, this was happening. People were turning into Sugar Foxes left and right!
