History:
Early Life
When Yue was almost a year old, he was baptized by the Children of the swell, as his mother was a part of their group. Luckily, he survived unscathed, though even with barely any memory of the event, it left him with a fear of the ocean.
Yue was an only child until he was about 5 years old, when his sister was born. He was instantly smitten with her, taking up the role of protective big brother. For years he kept her safe, even as their mother fell into a life of paranoia and fear. The children never knew what the cause was, only that they had to be careful of strangers, and didn't get to play outside very much.
Adolescence
When Yue was around 14 years old... his mother vanished. No trace was left behind, except for one little piece of evidence. A pin, that had been tossed into the corner of the living room, shaped like a white star. Yue would go on to spend the next 18 or so years searching for clues of his mothers whereabouts. Did she die? Was she kidnapped? Did she just abandon his little sister, who'd still been under her care? .
Adulthood
18 Years later, Yue is an established surgeon, Operating out of a little clinic funded by the Ichorrai Post. He makes house calls, and helps people in need as best he can. He has maintained his strong sense of empathy, and has never given up hope of finding out what happened to his mother so many years ago. He has become a bit of a collector of secrets, and moonlights as a spymaster for the Post's mysterious underbelly.
