Eggsplosion!
Its that time of year! The time of year where eggs have become abundant… very, very abundant.. TOO abundant! All the animals are laying twice, or even three times as many eggs! Its a sea of eggs! And whats more, a mysterious note has been left. Encouraging toskals all around the world to collect and decorate as many eggs as possible. Will you follow the instructions of the mysterious note by decorating the eggs and leaving them out as wanted? There’s no shortage of eggs… what else would you do with them, if anything else?
Aladar
Aladar's tail swished slowly behind him as he stared in puzzled confusion out across the snow and ice. There were... eggs, and a lot of them. Eggs just overflowing from baskets that hadn't been there before the night previous. Where had they all come from, and why? Aladar couldn't believe it. He had never seen so many eggs in all his life. He startled as one of the pups, Talvi, climbed and scrambled up one of his legs in eager excitement "Look! Look! Look at all the eggs!" The pup shouted, hopping eagerly against his leg, making Aladar flinch in pain, but not complaining. That spot would be bruised tomorrow, but he wasn't about to say anything when the pup seemed so truly happy and didn't seem to mean to cause him any harm on purpose. The pupsitter nodded as he continued to glance around. "Where did they all come from?" He asked curiously. The small pup shook his head. "Dunno! They all just appeared! Look at all of them!" The pup squealed with delight before jumping off of him and scampering away to fight for a basket from the other pups around, the lot of them sending eggs spilling out of the basket and into the snow, making Aladar gave a sweet laugh and give all of them a dramatic shake of his head as he walked to them and knelt down. "You have to be more careful." He chided them lightly. "Eggs are fragile and can break with ease." He noted gently, giving a soft smile towards the pups as they paused in their rough housing to watch as he picked the eggs back up. Some of them watching as one was shown to be broken, yolk spilling out. "Their soft, and fragile... like you." he noted litly, tapping the nose of Talvi, who giggled and moved away as they rubbed their nose in good nature. "But we eat eggs." the pup piped up, the other pups around him giving their own agreement as Aladar nodded his agreement. "We do... we eat all kinds of creatures, grown, and not grown... but you should still respect the things you eat... fresh eggs, I suppose less so. We eat them before life sparks and grows inside of them... but food is food. And... present oddness of having so many excluded, should not be wasted." He told them with a small smile towards the pups who watched with silent interest as he finished bundling them up. "Just to think of in the future." he assured the small bundle of pups, before he shooed them all away to go and fetch and find more eggs along with their fellows. For now, they had eggs enough to waste and let go of.
