Another foggy day for a small village in Elysium, a pale ancient stands atop a tall. Hadesia, also known as Ghost, leans on the edge of the balcony looking out at nothing in particular. As the Watcher of the Village, she is tasked with watching over the village and keeping an eye out on the fog for lost travelers. She loves her job but sometimes it does get a bit dry, after all, small villages don’t really have much action.

She was lazily looking out over the lit path leading away from the village watching the fog swirling around when she noticed a dark carriage slowly making its way towards the village. She immediately flies down towards the snoozing Rangers startling them awake.

Hadesia laughs at them, “Sorry to disrupt your nap sleepyheads, but a Dark Caravan is coming this way”. Davorin, still groggy, irritably responds: “Ugh, probably some Arcadians who wandered too far from their caravan again.” Blaise, the younger of the two Rangers, asks: “Wait, again? What is anyone doing so far within Elysium's borders?”. “I dunno but the council won’t be too happy if they hear about this” Davorin replies.

The three Ancients approach the dark carriage. Hadesia clears her throat. “Hello travelers-”, but before she could finish her greeting a dark-cloaked ancient interrupts her “HEED OUR WORDS”. Hadesia blinks, “oh ok”. The Ancient continues, “The Void wishes you well. The star's alignments are concerning. Time is of the essence. Join our calls and cries. Follow us to our lands. Protect yourself from what's to come-”.

During the stranger’s rant Blaise leans over and whispers to Hadesia, “The void? This can’t be good” and then spoke up to the strangers: “I’m sorry-” but once again, the Elysians were interrupted “Take our gifts of plenty and join us for better times”. Hadesia looked down at the rotten apple in the guardian’s paw and back up at them in disgust, “yeah no thanks, we’re good”. The cloaked guardian scowled at her but before they could reply the two Rangers brandished their weapons, “I’m sorry buddy, but we really aren’t interested. I’m gonna have to ask ya to leave”. A few seconds pass, Hadesia nervously gulps. Eventually, the guardian huffs and turns around to go back into the carriage. The caravan somehow makes a u-turn on the narrow path and heads back the way it came from.

All three exhale a sigh of relief. Hadesia turns back to her coworkers and playfully says “Well, guess you two can go back to cuddling”. Blaise bursts out laughing while Davorin glared at both of them.
