Burning Curiosity: Pigerton Blind Date Event

Dear Davis Erhardt,

I hope I addressed this correctly for someone that is an officer. Forgive me if I have already insulted you. I have to admit the number of times I have started this letter is something you could chuckle at. So would 8 times make you laugh? No, yes, well either way, I have to be honest, this is my 12th attempt and even now I feel the need to crumble this letter and start fresh. I guess I’m already showing you such a side of me, who knew you could bring it out in me. My fiery nature to impress, to win a smile or laugh from you, I can’t help it, I want to do my best, perhaps something we both could relate to?

Regardless I'm ashamed to admit, I do not know much about you, but once I was paired on this blind date with you, I found myself asking about you, as if you had become some ghost and I had to chase down any traces of you. Oh… I’ve realized that may come across wrong. Please don't take it the wrong way, I was curious and once it's been sparked, I can’t help but explode from it. Still I found myself in the pursuit of you, that I much rather learn about this from you instead. Plus I've included a little questionnaire, so that perhaps this blind date of our could be something worth wild, or at least a good story to tell.

I think we will have a good time, feel free to send the little questionnaire back with your reply, or if you feel this to be too much already. I understand, you would not be the first, nor the last I'm afraid. Let’s get off that topic. I heard you are an Officer? Is it worrisome? Scary? I am sure you have a tale or two you could share? I would be more than happy to indulge in any story you would grant my way. Still with such a job, I do hope you continue on working hard, I find that admirable in you, it's what I’ve heard all around. What the hard working fellow you are, still I hope you reach the goals you have for yourself. I hope you find what you are seeking.

If by some miracle, I send this letter, and even more so that you have read it and entertained the idea of perhaps we could meet. If anything to get a good chuckle at it, I would be delighted in such an event. So I wish you well, and I hope the sun stays bright on your side of the world.

P.S. Also please if the questionnaire is too much, just act as if I never did such a thing. Also ignore the ink spills and the crossing out of words. Who knew such a thing would wipe away my courage, the only thing keeping me from attempting to write this 12 more times is my curiosity and the small hope of what could be. Also enjoy the small token of a sticker of you! Perhaps I should have included one of myself…. huh...
