Biography
At a very young age, Lissam was addicted to and in love with dinosaurs. As a toddler, he would go out to his backyard and attempt to dig out any possible fossils. He lived a clean and healthy lifestyle with his mother and step-father, who both treated him very well in the beginning. He never knew of his true father, other than the fact that he merely left his mother to the rats. Lissam has been thankful for his family ever since, but when Lissam was 13, he heard of terrible news. His mother, who had treated him as the best thing in her life, had died in a car crash the morning of Lissam's birthday. (She was on her way to surprise him with a birthday cake) Devastated and distraught, both son and step-father began to mourn, but not for long. Soon, the step-father's grief turned into hatred, lashing out at Lissam with things like: "Why did you have to be born today!? She wouldn't have gone out and crashed if it wasn't for you!!!" With Lissam's young mind taking all of this in, he came to believe that it really was his fault and that he had to find a way to make it up to his step-father.
The young boy managed to sneak into the morgue where they kept his mother's destroyed body. But as he meticulously dragged it back home without ever getting caught, he started to work his hardest on reviving her.
A year passed, and one day, while the step-father was asleep... Something came into his room and shifted alongside him in the bed. Eyes widening upon seeing and smelling the rotting corpse of his wife, he was about to run to the door when he saw Lissam standing there and blocking his way.
"What's the meaning of this?!?!?"
"I revived mother so you wouldn't hurt me anymore." Lissam had said, his eyes bland and staring dead straight into his step-father's eyes. The kid looked like he hadn't gotten any sleep for the past few weeks, and dark red, caked-on blood covered his face, arms, and hands.
"Y....You're a monster!!!" The man screamed, shoving Lissam out of the way and causing the boy's head to crack open on the side of the doorway. Upon standing up after a while with a bleeding head and turning to his slowly moving, zombie mother:
"Mom... Father hurt me..." He whispered.
At that, the decrepit figure started to give chase to the man, causing screams and impossible attempts at trying to kill his wife. Meanwhile, Lissam just watched.
Eventually, the cops appeared and had the step-father arrested for child abuse and for homicide. (Since Lissam's mother could only move for a certain amount of time). Ever since, Lissam has had a strange twinge in his heart every time he hears a person scream. Oh, how it sent shivers down his spine.
Being taken to the hospital to heal his fractured skull, he was eventually released and given to an orphanage where he could be taken care of and go to school. Though with his intelligence levels shooting through the roof after the injury, he soon came to finish college at the age of 16. With a Ph.D in Paleontology and Biology, Dr. Moeko was ready to start his career...
No one exactly knows how he managed to gather all of this technology in one underground place. Some say he stole it while other say he lived a normal life with a normal job and managed to buy all of it. Either way, the Doctor expanded his expertise through both test tube creatures and through kidnapping humans. He mastered his "art" fairly quickly, creating some of the first Chimeras ever like Draco and Suoh. Though, when he created them, he wanted to see how they would live in paleoclimates. Thus, he managed to fix up a time machine and took his specimens, releasing them into the wild of the ancient times and then returning to complete more work. Eventually, Lissam was able to find a wife and create 2 children, a son and daughter. He treated them well, but never told any of his family members of his lab. Only when his grandson, Kaji, was born, he started to bring him into his lab to show him all the dinosaurs. And since Kaji had a similar passion to dinosaurs as Lissam did, the duo instantly gathered a strong bond. However, with that passion, Kaji dug the hole for himself.
When Kaji's mother died of a similar circumstance to when Lissam's mother died, (driving to buy something for the child on their birthday) Kaji too, felt like it was his fault. Lissam was equally devastated to know that his daughter died in a car crash very similar to how his own mother died, and with that, he preyed on young Kaji.
"You feel guilty about your mother's death...? I can fix it. Come with me."
That was when Lissam kidnapped his grandson, turning him into the fearsome Chimera that he is today. Morphed with his favorite dinosaur but blinded by rage and pain, Kaji completely destroyed Lissam's lab and killed his grandfather in the process. At least, that's what many had thought.
It is unknown to how the Chimera doctor survived his grandson's flaming attacks, but he did. The damage done to the lab was indescribable, but the doctor kept to his area, making Avalon think he was dead and thus continuing to create Chimeras and fix himself up. Now he roams the island with Sin, hoping to keep creating the monsters like he was born to do.
