It's been 10 days since the first specimen had been put under the newest anesthesia. The specimen shows no sign of waking up, but its vitals are still functioning. This may be useful for future research and experiments, but there is no known way to wake up the specimen yet.

Log 2:
The specimen awoke today and is displaying signs of aggression and confused hostility, as expected. However, the specimen is no longer needed and will be disposed of at a later point. Specimen 2 is being prepared for the next step in experimentation: Its ability to survive electrical impulses will give us insight into genetic mutations and further coding into the organisms. Small voltages shall be given within 5 second intervals and will increase in voltage until the specimen starts showing signs of extreme distress. Until then, the other specimens remain within the dome.

Log 3:
I warned them about the miscalculations and discrepancies in the systems, but the other scientists did not listen to me. Specimen 2 died by electrocution after 3 intervals of shocking due to the insubordination from my coworkers. The generator became faulty from the storm that passed through only yesterday, and with the hurry from my boss, we were forced to continue with experimentation. We didn't even get any results from the damage. It was just a big waste.

Log 4:
Once again, the other scientists do not trust my word. I told them about the genetic consequences that would come about with forcing genomes and foreign bodies into a specimen, and they ended up being the ones who were wronged. 3 of my coworkers died today from Specimen 6's snap in the dome, all because of the forced genes that were implemented into him just a few hours ago. I told them that rushing things would only prove to be disappointing for our research. I feel that I am being shunned even if I am right.

Log 5:
I took it upon myself today to work on Specimen 6 and fix his genome. It has already been damaged so much from the foreign bodies and I already know that his mental capacity has vanished. He is no longer a creature with its own conscience. It is just an empty shell that still moves and breathes. To me, it's pathetic. Our research has only led to disappointment and yet, we still continue with it. I hope that my work will spark a new life within Specimen 6.

Log 6:
There was a break in physical research once Specimen 6 was disposed of. The company took liberty in sending all employees to their labs to research the previous experiments and to also bring about new theses for the next test in electrical impulses. I believe we will be using Specimen 8 for that, considering his milder temperament. We will have to gain access to the Main Lab though for this, since Specimen 8 is quite large and needs to be brought in with as much caution as possible. While he may be calm, Specimen 8 has been known to snap from sudden movements and this has proven to be quite difficult for researchers to handle. I do not expect any less from a frightened animal in a white, sterile environment. None of it is ever natural.

Log 7:
Specimen 8 proved to be a success. It took to the electrical impulses well and has even mutated its genome to be able to attack foreign bodies with ease. Specimen 8 is now undergoing tests on how many foreign bodies it can handle at once and may lead to new medicines that can help pets in the real world.
The new shipments came in today as well, so new testing for genetic equilibrium might begin for the pterosaurs. We will see how they fare from generation to generation.
