Because Aselph was the traitor, there were a lot of things he knew. Oh, and some things he knew even if he wasn’t a traitor.

1. Orithus Arsenic is the Ultimate Hoaxer. In order to move this killing game along, he needed for Orithus to stop hiding. In order to do so, he made a bomb which could mimic a psychokinetic’s explosion.

2. How to make contraptions for booby traps. As a stuntman, he knows how to rig certain things and well as how to create bombs from prop artists he worked with.

3. He had special privileges and could remove himself from the cuffs when necessary.

4. As someone with a fit body, he was confident in being able to pull off the murder unseen.

5. He expected to get caught, which is why he let Reina in on his plan. His purpose was to continue the killing game, not end it.

6. Aselph could carry the cannon if he put enough effort into it by using techniques as well as inner strength.

7. The contraptions differed in the other rooms slightly. The bath house had a suspending bathtub and the rec room had a suspending couch.

8. The flaw in the murder plan reflects a flaw in Aselph himself. That is the fact that he was ignorant of his surroundings. In everyday life he goes on tangents and doesn’t pay much attention to his conversation partner’s words.

9. Selph knew that Reina was the type of person to hold out on information, and that was why she was assigned as his partner in the first place (or so I would like to assume).

The Plan

•aselph makes an explosion (he would know how, stuntman, duh) grabbing materials from the kitchen/nurse's office, and whatever material he couldn't get to make his homemade bomb, he would get from the monokubs/mastermind, traitor privilege lol (blame could be put on the “ultimate psychokinetic” & could be an incentive to reveal his talent and become shu1ch1 kin to reveal his protagonist ahoge //i have no idea if we're still going with protag orithus idea//)

•of course that explosion wont be enough to kill someone since fuji is still alive, so it just damages fuyuki

•but the thing is, boom! the bomb makes a big big smokescreen (flour) and aselph pulls a little rope at the end of the room that makes a bunch of heavy things fall on fuyuki to crush her and make her die (stuntman & circus background explains the strength as well as how to pull off the contraption, blame could be put on the ultimate escape artist) while fuji stands there like https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/759236192113393704/775488747415928870/image9.png (maybe he gets hurt as well idk to "clear himself")

•all of this happened while rio was asleep (drugged with something from the nurse's office), either that, or he was persuaded not to say anything (whichever works out better)

if Rio is persuaded not to say anything then two pairs of bigass footsteps will be in the room

•flour covers the entire room with the explosion and fuyuki is only minorly injured by that (maybe some burns n stuff)

•so asleph set up this entire pulley system while either a.) rio was asleep, or b.) rio helped him by looking watch

•fuyuki and fuji walk in here because they needed to get something or were bored, aselph didn't need a specific victim

•fuyuki touches something and then BOOM blah blah blah rope pull CRUSH (imagine this; fuji just runs outside with a dead ass hand on the other side of his handcuffs) and aselph makes a brilliant escapade and rio wakes up (if he got drugged) because smart dosage

•time of the murder: nighttime when rio is asleep and fuji and fuyuki are exploring or something, maybe fuji wanted to trip down some stairs again and explore or spy but find themselves stuck in a dusty closet and they look into each other's eyes and

a. rio can confirm that aselph is the traitor because he saw aselph get out of the cuffs

- fuji's account

a. the rope was too far from fuji's position to make him the blackened. it had to be someone that fuyuki wasn't chained to

b. he knew that there was only one person because of the sound of the footsteps, even if his hearing was impaired due to the loud explosion

* so basically rio has this assumption the whole time that aselph was the blackened traitor but was like "aha noo, i don't want to tell you losers because i thought you were smart enough 2 figure it out by yourself but noo stupids"

* hikaru starts spitting out blames the moments orithus is accused for making the explosion :rolling_eyes: due to being the ultimate psychokinetic or smth and is like "bro. ur actually fucking fake. get yo bitchass outta here" when he reveals his talent and ori becomes oliver kin and :moyai:

The Trial Plan

1. fuji gets accused solely because of the fact that he was with her at the time of the murder (nighttime near the morning announcement, actually, right before it, pool of blood was fresh), fuji explains that there was someone else there but he didn't know who because of the cloud of flour poof

2. discuss the weapon: bomb, and thinks of what dumbass could make it

3. the blame falls on orithus

4. orithus is like "wait noo wtf wait no im actually the ultimate hoaxer y'all gay"

5. fuji gets accused again because people thinks he's lying or smth and there isn't much evidence to rule anyone else as a potential suspect

6. discuss the pulley system and how it was impossible for fuji to use it

7. moves the blame to 7037 because escape artist, contraption, lmao duh

8. rio gets tired of people's bullshit and incorrect answers and pitches in his two cents

9. fuji gets his memory jogged and he's like woah! i did see a pretty tall silhouette...

10. the cast review the tbs and sees how aselph could be the perpetrator

10. traitor gets revealed via minigame or smth and aselph admits it and goes off to die lol while he explained his motive for killing, which was to progress the game and all
