On Diesel
- Diesel and Remend met by chance. It of course started by Remend trying to hit on him, but instead of the natural course of events, Diesel was completely confused by him. After discussing it later, it turns out Diesel thought Remend was just a child who learned grown up words, this was of course purely based on the fact that he was so short compared to Diesel.
- It took a couple years for them to develop a closer relationship and for Diesel to warm up more to Remend.
- Remend's personality is in big contrast to Diesel's personality and it hundered their relationship some. While Remend was happy to annoy the big lug he found to be both cute and handsome at the same time, Diesel just thought he was a annoying.
- They have been in physical scuffles before where it was mostly Remend getting the brunt of impact. When this happened, Remend would definitely be a bit resentful afterward but, surprisingly, Remend was aware that he was just a bother to Diesel so he felt himself quite lucky to have not been thrown halfway across the continent.
- In their early 'friendship', Remend saw Diesel get in a serious fight where he seemed to be almost invincible but unhappy. Of course, a mystery is always a draw in for Remend, so that was some of the reason he bothered Diesel for so long.
- Although they have been friends for a long time, Remend has never asked Diesel about his scars or where he learned to fight. (Remend might be a jerk, but he's a polite jerk.)
- Remend is much older than Diesel.
